Definitely Kim Hang Ah is the best female character.. She has to pampered the prince (then king), protected the whole royal family, and worked to reunite SK and NK. 

She might look weak when she came to SK, as she only a girl who wants to feel love and be loved, but it doesn't stop her to still true to her principle and a true soldier indeed!

Hello everyone, once again thank you for tagging me, I voted for King 2 hearts and DOTS because they are the only 2 dramas I have seen from the above list But I. throughly shocked to see King 2 hearts not only getting nomination and votes But also claiming the no 1 spot here Because it's an oldie so I thought not many viewers have watched it or remember it . And also it was an underrated drama. Though Han Hi won was a strong woman but many criticized her for her North Korean accent and for being cutesy and pouting.
