Plot

 A high school student who dreamed of becoming an architect but had to drop out of school after suffering from brutal school violence. Years later, the perpetrator gets married and has a kid. Once the kid is in elementary school, the former victim becomes their homeroom teacher and starts her thorough revenge towards the perpetrators and bystanders of her bullying days.

Song Hye Kyo Confirmed To Lead New Drama By “Descendants Of The Sun” Screenwriter Kim Eun Sook

Song Hye Kyo and screenwriter Kim Eun Sook are reuniting for a new drama!

 

On January 5, Ilgan Sports quoted an industry source who stated, “Screenwriter Kim Eun Sook is preparing a drama that will begin filming in the second half of the year. It will air at the end of the year at the earliest or the first half of next year at the latest. Song Hye Kyo was chosen for the lead role.” The drama will be produced jointly by Hwa&Dam Pictures and Studio Dragon and is reported to be in the casting stage of production currently.

 

A source from Studio Dragon confirmed to YTN Star, “Song Hye Kyo will star in screenwriter Kim Eun Sook’s new drama as the female lead.” A source from Hwa&Dam Pictures has also confirmed that Song Hye Kyo is appearing in Kim Eun Sook’s new drama.

 

According to Ilgan Sports, PD (producing director) Ahn Gil Ho will be directing the drama. PD Ahn Gil Ho’s notable works include “Forest of Secrets” season one, “Memories of the Alhambra,” “Watcher,” and “Record of Youth.”

Expectations are high for this new drama. it generated a lot of buzz online with knetz and inetz picking their candidates for the ML. kyo trended on naver, weibo and twitter.  and some kdrama newbies are wondering why it was such a big deal LOL

This drama is said to be genre play, it coincides with Kyo's W Korea interview that she wants to do a drama that is a cross-genre. Mixed of several genres.

After the news that actress Song Hye Kyo confirmed to join writer Kim Eun Sook's new drama was announced on yesterday (January 5), some previously posted rumors were noticed by Knetizens. .

 

A post on December 27, 2020 on theqoo : “The male lead in writer Kim Eun Sook's drama this time has discussed, he is Won Bin. News will probably be published in January ”.

 

Another post on December 25, 2020 also revealed the names of the two main leads in writer Kim Eun Sook's new drama whose initials are ㅇㅂ (원빈 - Won Bin) and ㅅㅎㄱ (송혜교 - Song Hye Kyo ).

 

=> Anything is just rumors. So lets wait until everything is official confirmed.

I hope this will be in Netflix. According to someone at Encounter thread, in November 2019, Studio Dragon signed an agreement with Netflix. But apparently not all their dramas before the agreement (such as Encounter) was signed were included in the agreement. 

 

Hoping this one will be a Netflix drama.
