The first stills of Kang Tae Oh have been released for “Doom at Your Service”!

The upcoming fantasy romance drama about a character named Myul Mang (Seo In Guk), who causes everything he touches to vanish, and a woman named Tak Dong Kyung (Park Bo Young), who puts her life on the line to avoid her fate.

Kang Tae Oh will play Lee Hyun Kyu, the first love of Na Ji Na (Shin Do Hyun). He is living with regret after running away from love when he was young, and he is now stuck in a love triangle with Ji Na and his roommate Cha Joo Ik (Lee Soo Hyuk).

The first stills give a glimpse of Kang Tae Oh’s transformation into Lee Hyun Kyu, who is a café owner.

 

Wearing a bright yellow sweater, Hyun Kyu melts hearts with his sweet smile. However, he becomes serious when he works on his coffee, showing professionalism behind the counter.

The drama’s production team commented, “The staff on set fell for Kang Tae Oh’s soft and warm charms since the first filming session. He is portraying Hyun Kyu to be a character even more charming than expected through detailed character research and his own uniqueness added in,” and asked viewers to look forward to Kang Tae Oh’s acting in the drama.

“Doom at Your Service” is set to premiere on May 10 at 9 p.m. KST.

The tvN fantasy romance drama is about a character named Myul Mang (Seo In Guk), who causes everything he touches to vanish, and a woman named Tak Dong Kyung (Park Bo Young), who puts her life on the line to avoid her fate.

tvN released stills of Lee Soo Hyuk in their upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama “Doom At Your Service.”

“Doom at Your Service” is a fantasy romance drama about a character named Myul Mang (Seo In Guk), who causes everything he touches to vanish, and a woman named Tak Dong Kyung (Park Bo Young), who puts her life on the line to avoid her fate. It is being written by Im Me-ari (“Beauty Inside“) and directed by Kwon Young Il (“My Unfamiliar Family“).

Lee Soo Hyuk plays Cha Joo Ik, the head editor at a web novel publishing company called Life Story where Tak Dong Kyung works. Cha Joo Ik is described as a “first kiss master” who inspires his web novelists to new heights of romance with his sweet talk and heart-fluttering touch. He gets involved in a love triangle with Lee Hyun Kyu (Kang Tae Oh) and Na Ji Na (Shin Do Hyun).

In the new stills, Lee Soo Hyuk embodies Cha Joo Ik’s strict and passionate attitude toward his work. As he reviews manuscripts on his laptop and tablet, he gives off the impression of a cold but charismatic boss who appeals to his novelists with his talent and dedication as well as his handsome looks.

“Doom at Your Service” is a fantasy romance about a character named Myul Mang (Seo In Guk), who causes everything he touches to vanish, and a woman named Tak Dong Kyung (Park Bo Young), who puts her life on the line to avoid her fate.

The newly released main poster that resembles a watercolor painting shows Myul Mang and Tak Dong Kyung facing each other while holding hands. Their gazes are deep with longing, and the words between them hint, “Let’s pray for destruction. Love is here.” The freshly blooming plants beside Tak Dong Kyung symbolize vitality, while the plants behind Myul Mang exude dark energy. The two characters have completely different auras, and it will be intriguing to see how their exciting romance will play out.

A closer look at the supporting cast of Doom at Your Service

More promos have been released for tvN’s upcoming fantasy Doom at Your Service, featuring the supporting cast in new character stills as well as a new drama poster.

The story stars Park Bo-young (Abyss) as an ordinary human who unexpectedly finds herself putting both love and her life on the line in a dangerous signed deal with Doom himself, played by Seo In-gook (Hundred Million Stars From the Sky).

Unaware of these larger stakes in Park’s life, fellow colleague and web novelist Shin Do-hyun (Memorials) gets involved in a more “normal” dilemma and is torn between two love interests. Does she feel pulled towards the resident Casanova and chief editor at her work Lee Soo-hyuk (Born Again)? Or is her heart re-kindled by her puppy first love and café owner Kang Tae-oh (Run On)?

 

Although the stills are of Shin, Lee, and Kang, we get to see all five actors in the newly released poster who look contemplative, standing against a lavender night sky. The tagline reads, “What is the one thing you wish for in your life?”

Written by Im Me-ah-ri (Beauty Inside) and directed by PD Kwon Young-il (Unfamiliar Family), tvN’s next Monday-Tuesday drama Doom at Your Service premieres next month on May 10 following Navillera.

tvN’s upcoming drama “Doom at Your Service” has shared a fun sneak peek of the chemistry between stars Park Bo Young and Seo In Guk!

“Doom at Your Service” is a new fantasy romance drama about a character named Myul Mang, who causes everything he touches to vanish (played by Seo In Guk), and a woman named Tak Dong Kyung, who puts her life on the line to avoid her fate (played by Park Bo Young).

In a newly released teaser for the upcoming drama, Tak Dong Kyung is openly skeptical of Myul Mang’s seemingly far-fetched claims. When Myul Mang—whose name is the literal Korean word for “ruin” or “destruction”—introduces himself as the supernatural being he is, Tak Dong Kyung replies disbelievingly, “So you’re saying you’re Myul Mang?”

The clip goes on to show Myul Mang confidently misconstruing Tak Dong Kyung’s intentions, flashing a cocky smirk at her as he says, “I know I’m handsome, but I’m busy, so…”

As inexplicable supernatural phenomena begin to take place around the pair, a shocked Tak Dong Kyung exclaims, “But this makes no sense.” She then accuses Myul Mang of coming on to her, saying, “This guy is bringing out the pickup tactics again.” Offended, Myul Mang replies, “How can you say ‘pickup tactics,’ when someone is being sincere?”

Finally, the teaser ends with Tak Dong Kyung asking Myul Mang with a scrutinizing glare, “You don’t happen to like me, do you?”
