Yeah, It look like the extended shoulder pads might make his body have a thinner look.

No less handsome though.

I like him in ancient costume.

The hairdo I'm still trying to see it out if it suits him.

@leo2020 ooh...a melon? If it's a reliable melon, these days the melon's reported premiere dates are not bad, quite on point. I am all in for Vin Zhang, I first saw him in I will never let you go and thought he was quite handsome. Fingers crossed we will see him again soon in this upcoming drama!!

and they now have even "coming on April 26" on the drama banner  . 

 

I suppose Vin Zhang just needs a good role to shine. I should confess, he is not my type of a guy if we talk about physical appearance, but he is 100% talanted and skilled actor, always a pleasure to watch, however the roles he gets are all not that good.  The first very good role was last year's ML role in Rattan. Even The King's Women was all about Dilraba, her tortures and a love triangle, but not about his character in particular. So I'm really looking forward for this new drama and hope his talant finally shines and is appreciated by the audience.

@leo2020 well let's hope that's a reliable source, apparently M** followed the other site...so we'll see.

Rattan was a rather strange story but different and the chemistry with the FL was pretty good. I think that caught him some attention but I saw on a YT channel somewhere that he hasn't gotten good scripts, as you mentioned. So, here's hoping this does it for him.

@SilverDawn rumour has it that this will make way for The Wind Blows from Longxi and air later. 

Let's see what happens yah. Though on iQiyi, the queue looks that way. But then again, the show can always
jump to the front of the queue at the twitch of a button, hahaha
