Huckleberry thank you for providing the clips of the kissing scene.  I have to say that I found the last 9 pictures to be the most impactful especially after SJH opened her eyes.  If you enlarge the photos and go very slow focus on the display of emotions of SJH.  SSH is like this was fun while SJH was more bewildered.

 

That breakfast at Tiffany’s Picture was one of my favorite looks for SJH.  Just stunning absolutely gorgeous.  Too bad they did not play this scene towards the end with SSH.  It could of been so impactful.  Instead it is the first episode without SHH.  

 

What I found to be really interesting was the amount of dialogue and say the actors had with the scene development in DM.  It was like a partnership between the director and the actors with all voices appreciated.  

 

Lastly, I wonder what SJH is thinking in that my individual Smoopi is what 27 pages in 15 years and the DM Smoopi is 90 pages in 7 months.  This has got to be telling her how special these two are in both friendship, development, accomplishment and their fans love of the two together.

I think at the end of the kiss scene bts when the director shouted cut, SSH immediately stopped so maybe that is why SJH seems surprised. Maybe the reason SSH smiled/laughed when the scene ended is so that they won't be uncomfortable after they just kissed, so that they won't be awkward so much. He knows SJH would open her eyes after the scene, so he laughed when their eyes met so that their atmosphere won't be uneasy. SJH did smile/laughed when she saw SSH laughing but we can see at the very end of the video that both SJH and SSH seemed shy to each other. Especially SSH who was taking big breaths like he was nervous

I interpret that he stopped the kiss immediately after the director said that the scene ended, stop playing with SJH for having stopped the kiss before and hit him for no reason (I believe she stopped the kiss because she felt something or it would be a "shiver", while he passed his hands on her back while kissing her).

Rewatching the bts video, we can see that SSH's right hand was previously on SJH's left side of her back. But when their kiss went on, his hand slid down to the middle of SJH's back and maybe she is ticklish on that spot that is why he hit SSH.

They are playful to each other, so nice to watch them ❤ They are perfect for each other. They have comfortable, ordinary, friend-like relationship, just like what SJH said in post Dinner Mate interview, the kind of relationship she likes to have ❤

In the variety show "Witch hunt"

MC Shin Dong Yup once asked SJH about her erogenous zones.
"Where do you have?" He asked.
SJH replied, "The place that most women like, neck or back."

Shin Dong Yup who heard this, laughed and said, "The back is an erogenous zone that is underestimated."

 

Maybe for that reason, SJH hit him out of reflex. You can see his hand go up and down from her neck to her back.
and SSH didn’t know and thought he was hit for the wrong position. Poor ssh  ^__^

I thought sjh hit ssh because she thought ssh mixed up the sequence of their kissing actions.... (they had to repeat their kissing multiple times for different angles).

Because she was seemingly mumbling the kissing scene isnt like this...shook her head and looked at the director... then ssh was like no no, it goes like this angle, then this angle as he gestured with his hands...

 

Abt sjh's sensitive areas, yeah indeed neck and back, both which ssh had conquered...

Neck = bts of the couch kissing scene where he landed his lips on her neck, and the neck massage he gave to her...

 

Back = first kiss bts as discussed above, kitchen back hug scene, rooftop terrace proposal hug as he placed his hands just above her waist....

How lucky is the fan who interviewed her. I would like to see her some day when she can organize a fan meeting when this pandemic is over.

It's always fun and excited when we dig, discover, observe, analyze and dissect everything about our lovebirds.
 

After looking back at SSH and SJH interviews, both past and present, we find some of their personal thoughts about love and dating visualized in Dinner Mate by GJH PDnim.
It could be that PDNim let them provide input for several scenes. It has also been said by SJH that some lines and even scenes are ad libbed, or improvised.

 

On April 30, 2014, SSH shared its thoughts on director Kim Dae-woo's statement, claiming that "Love is when you can't even breathe in the absence of a loved one".
SSH said "I also marveled at the statement. That sentence pretty much sums up the love that I've felt".
 

We can find it in ep. 14, when KHK was worried about WDH after hearing from KGW that JJH had disappeared.
KHK said: "I couldn't even breathe. I was worried that something might have happened to you".

After the DM drama ended, SJH had interviews with several media about the drama and shared thoughts about her role as WDH.
When asked to choose between two men, KHK (SSH) and JJH (LJH), SJH likely to choose KHK (SSH).

She also added "Now I want to meet someone who can make me feel comfortable"

 

The scene where she feels comfortable and protected is also in ep. 14, when KHK worries about WDH and hugs her. WDH resignedly says  "I'm sorry for taking so long. I have no other choice now".

SJH also shared about her shortcomings.
She said "Now I want to get married to such a man who can understands everything and accept my shortcomings, not only the pretty sides I show on screen".

 

It seems SJH hopes that the man who loves her can accept the way she is. She didn't want to act pretend and didn't want to always keep her image. She wanted to be herself.
 

This she showed in front of SSH, how she really is. She can be silly, like a teenager joking around, and she may get annoyed and grumble if something doesn't feel right. And it made SSH jokingly dub her as "The most bad personality actress" at Wrap-up party.

In closing, we look back at SSH interview on 30 April 2014.
During the interview he also said that:
"It's true the brave man gets the beauty. I decided to pursue actively if I like someone. And now I'm waiting for my next love"
 

"I don't try hard to make a girlfriend just because I don't have one now.
My character is that I don't make a move unless I'm head over heels for the person".

 

From what SSH said above, it's no surprise that he was so attracted to SJH when he met her in person.
We can see all the evidences of how his behavior and body language is, from the shooting of "Still Photos" to the time they appeared together in "Japanese TV interview" because "He decided to pursue actively if he likes someone".

If KHK's character in DM is someone who doesn't believe in love and destiny, it seems that it is different for SSH.

It turns out that SSH is someone who believes in love and destiny. Because in 2014 he said that "I'm still waiting for my destined lover.

 

SSH believes that if the destiny of love comes, and he is meant for that girl, he will meet her whenever  and wherever.

It was like what he said "I think if it's meant to be, we'll meet whenever and wherever"

 

And in 2020, fate brought him together with SJH. They starred in DM, which tells about the fate and love.

 

After meeting SJH in person, SSH proved his words that "He do a move because SJH makes him is head over heels"

If I am asked to choose which kiss scene I like best.

I will select the "Kiss on the Cheek" scene.

In my opinion, the “Kiss on the cheek” scene was what really touched SSH's heart.

We can see how his reaction when he got a kiss on the cheek from SJH, hmm .... can not be described.

 

SSH certainly has a lot of kiss scenes on the lips in dramas or movies, from quick kisses to hot kisses.

But I'm sure he rarely gets those scenes, maybe not even there.
A kiss on the cheek is simple but has deep meaning.
SJH gave it and I am sure, SSH was touched.

This is like what Lee Young-ae said about SSH: "SSH is a manly guy but he also induced feelings of compassion and maternal love from women"

SJH looks radiantly beautiful and happy in the Paul and Joe video ❤ I noticed that ever since Dinner Mate ended, both SSH and SJH have a radiant aura of happiness that we can see in their faces, in their eyes, in their smile. We noticed that in SSH in his Tiktok virtual fan meeting Men and Mission and in his Gamsung Camping guesting and in his Christmas and New Year video greeting to his Japan fanclub, Asto. In SJH's IG photos, downy CF, Paul and Joe CF/photos we saw her beautiful aura/glow ❤

I was also so curious when SSH posted a throwback post on his ig. What was the reasons behind his post..hmm..

Maybe there were some talks between the two lovebirds about having plans on traveling together and they probably mentioned some interesting destinations - some sweet talks before they both back to work reality. As SSH probably also will start his travel to Jeju Island for filming next week.

The idea of having traveling together popped on their minds
