If YSH said that he was mesmerized with SJH because of her femininity, wisdom and sharp character (whereas he had never met her in person), then it is not surprising that SSH was so fascinated and admired her when he first met her in person.

 

So when SSH boldly said on KYC FM Radio that SJH had the biggest and most beautiful eyes of all his co-stars, and her eyes were bigger than KTH's, many media in Korea quoted and reported.

 

When a reporter who was interviewing SJH, after she finished her "Dinner Mate" drama, asked her opinion about SSH's statement.
SJH replied that she didn't see SSH interview with KYC on SBS FM Radio. She knew SSH said that from the news. She wisely said that she felt embarrassed and felt bad for KTH. She had never met KTH in person, so she didn't know. (Maybe she meant whether SSH's statement was true that her eyes were bigger than KTH ..haha ..)
Then with a laugh she said why did he say that? ....

 

By asking questions like that, I think, she might forget that SSH co-starred with KTH in "My Princess" as well as with MBC a few years ago, and KTH is now the wife of Rain, SSH's best friend.

 

It seems that SJH personality is like she once said in a Japanese TV interview where she said that the difference between the figures of WDH and her was if WDH was someone who viewed love negatively and was reluctant to love, after she had two heartbreaks. As for herself, even though she didn't actively win love, but she saw love in a positive way on her mind.

 

And it's exactly what she said in her interview after finishing DM, she said that if she found out her boyfriend was cheating on her in her life. She wouldn't maintain that relationship. She chose to end her relationship with her boyfriend. She would see it positively.

 

She meant maybe, if she had a heartbreak because of love, she would not allow those negative thoughts to settle in her mind. She will try to stay positive by not rejecting the love that comes. She can receive new love without haste,

While counting the D day, let's reminisce about the times when our HeonHye couple were at the launch of the drama Dinner Mate.
Like at other press conferences, before they presented their drama and had an interview with the MC, they had an introduction as well as a photo shoot in front of reporters from the media.

it was reported that on Jan 29 SSH was considering a rom com alongside SJH; then on Feb 5 SSH accepted (exactly a week); then on Feb 13 SJH accepts (a week later).  We all know these are press releases, and yes, perhaps the timing was planned and maybe the producers and staff were a tight schedule to get the lead roles firmed up so that they could get the supporting roles in place. BUT, the timing still seems calculated to me.

My delulu mind wonders if they had been introduced previously by common friends (which they have, right?) and noticed the chemistry then; and thought "if there is indeed something between us, let's do a project together, and see if sparks fly..." HHHHHMMMMMM 

THIS IS ALL CONJECTURE of course, so before anyone takes this as FACT, IT IS NOT. Just the wondering mind of a fan who has been sheltering in place for far too long.. LOL.

@huckleberrymoonriver,  Yes! SSH is the only co star of SJH who had the guts to be as demonstrative, playful and showy with her. Same goes with SJH. SSH is her first co star that she is comfortable to be playful and bicker with.  

They really match. 
 

@mtdgmend, it might be a possibility they had met before DM but didn’t SJH mentioned in DM presscon that the first time she met SSH was during the script reading which is around March? Unless SSH was with PD Nim when PDnim met up with SJH to convince her to accept the role. 

Nevertheless, sparks was present from the get go. 

Their explosive chemistry is what made me crazy about them.

 

In SJH’s new Downy CF, she is so simple and laid back yet so glowing.

(Usually "Still photo" shoots take place before drama shooting starts).

SSH collaborated with PDNim Ko Jae-hyun in the drama "Black" and "Player" (as the MC said at the DM press conference)

 

SJH:
- In 2017 - 2018 : December - February, drama Black Knight (KBS2)
- In 2018             : September - November, drama Heart Surgeons (SBS)
- In 2019 - 2020 : December - February, drama CLOY (tvN)

 

It turns out that in 2019 , each of them collaborated with the same TV station, tvN. 

 

Fact:

 

- SSH and PDnim have a good relationship considering they have worked together on the drama "Black" (2017) and "Player" (2018) with OCN.

 

- At the press conference "Dinner Mate", the MC asked SSH why he was interested in playing in DM ?

SSH replied that he was interested in playing in romantic dramas again considering it had been a long time since he starred in the romantic genre, the last time he played in "My Princess" with MBC was about 9 years ago (2011). In addition he had played tough roles in recent years.

 

- When he was thinking of doing a romantic drama, he got an offer from MBC to star in "Dinner Mate", directed by PDNim Ko Jae-hyun, which he had worked with before (He said it at PresCon DM).

 

- When PDNim offered KHK's role to SSH, he told SSH that as the first candidate for WDH'role , he would offer the role to SJH. (PDNim said SJH as first candidate for WDH's role at press conference).

 

Note:

It seems that PDNim chose SJH as the first candidate because, the first he saw there was a humorous side to SJH. Second, at that time SJH managed to attract viewers and succeeded as So-dan in CLOY,
and third, PDNim wanted the actress for WDH's role to be someone who had never played a romantic comedy role before, considering that the role of WDH is a fresh and new role.

 

- When PDNim told SSH that he chose SJH as the first candidate for WDH's role, SSH didn't expect it.

That's because SSH thought that besides SJH was a good actress, she was someone who was sophisticated and had a cold impression. But PDNim was able to convince SSH of its choice. (SSH said this at the press conference).

 

- Then PDNim offered the role of WDH to SJH.

At that time SJH had just finished the last shooting of the drama CLOY. Meanwhile, SSH was still considering it while waiting for confirmation from PDNim about the female lead
(This is according to the news where on January 29, 2020 SSH is considering a romantic comedy along side SJH)

 

- PDNim apparently managed to convince SJH that she was able to potray WDH.

After going through several discussions with PDNim, SJH immediatelly accepted the offer to play in the drama Dinner Mate. Besides she thought the role of WDH was something new for her which she had never played before, also because there was SSH's name as the male lead appearing there. (Like she said at PressCon and on Japanese TV interview).

 

- When PDNim informed SSH that SJH would be taking on the role of WDH, SSH immediately confirmed first that he would be starring in a DM which appeared in the news on February 5, 2020 and a week later on February 13, 2010 SJH confirmed as well.( SSH replied to SJH's statement in the Japanese TV interview that he also decided to play in DM as soon as he found out that SJH's name appeared there).

 

- At the press conference SSH said that after he learned that SJH was the female lead, moments later they started shooting.

During the shooting with SJH, he just realized that what PDNim said was true that SJH was suitable to play WDH. Apart from being a good actress, as a woman, she had an unruly side like the role of WDH.

He wondered why she didn't get roles like this sooner. He felt that he had a good chemistry with her and was very satisfied working with her. (He also said this on Japanes TV interview)

Wow! I did not even realize that SSH was there from afar on that BTS when SJH had stomach pains and LJH was massaging her hand. The BTS was from the confession scene so maybe SSH wanted to be by himself to practice and internalize his “I Like You” confession lines. PDnim even teased him why he got teary eyed when he was practicing the line “I miss you”.  I read comments in OTP IG that SSH and SJH did not shot scenes for 5 days so he really meant it when he said he missed her. Aw!

SSH knows the boys just need to take care of their Noona and look out for their Hyung. So the fanboys are safe. At some point Ko Kyu Pil(PD Park) also wanted to hold SJH’s hand before LJH did. But maybe held back because SSH was there.   

 

I read an article about Rain and KTH’s love story. Rain shared he had a one sided crush with KTH, chased her for a year but worked out in the end, got married and had 2 kids.

I mentioned Rain’s story because the way he pursued KTH kind of reminds me of how SSH is pursuing SJH.

SSH, a Talented, Handsome, Successful Hallyu Star who had worked with beautiful actresses like SHK, SYJ, KTH is adored by millions of fans and probably chased by gazillions of women, is going out of his way to show his admiration for SJH.

mentioned and everyone of us shippers witnessed, SJH is his only female costar he was smitten with from script reading, in awe of her, fidgety in interviews, touchy while filming(as evidenced on several BTS) nervous in filming kiss scenes, doing skinships, praised her beauty and acting skills, giving massages, giving sweet gazes, playful, jealous of her fanboys, let her show her quirky, lovable, funny side, first person on his mind to have dinner with and declaring “I Like You” and indirectly dedicated  “I’m In Love” song by RAD on the radio show. 

If that is not pursuing, then I don’t know what it is. 

On SJH side, I would like to think she is taking his gestures/pursuances  positively. Otherwise, she will not allow him to be playful, touchy, with her, tease him and mention on her ILA guesting (her guesting was most likely SSH’s idea) on wanting to get married and have kids, looked more happy, more beautiful and glowing than ever. 

Both of their behaviors lead to signs that if they are not on a romantic relationship yet, it is definitely a special one. 

In my delulu mind, Positive News is on the horizon for these lovebirds. We just have to wait and be patient.

Like what SSH in his Star Date interview, he might pull a Won Bin private wedding. So he will take us by surprise.

I saw clips of SBS Entertainment Awards. They did not had red carpet due to the pandemic but the nominees of each show had a table where they sat together and had mask on. I hope DM will win Best Drama so the cast can go to the stage and accept the award and for SSH and SJH to win Best Couple so we can see their latest interaction.

 

BTW, do you guys know how to vote for MBC’s Best Couple awards? I don’t see it on their website or IG account yet.

Which means they might know the results beforehand.

I think so.

Even based on the previous awards I’ve watched seems like only winners attend.

I really hope they win Best Drama, Best Couple, Top Actor and Top Actress. 

First time to see this.

Im agree with you and please saw their ootd when first reading, they wear same casual ootd, thats unussual for ssh, same sweater with different colour But from the beginning im sure they know each other before
