@Jimmy Greene,  I am biased for Norcal as I live in the Bay Area. And yes Napa Valley’s wine tour will be a perfect romantic getaway for them. 

I think Japan is also a favorite vacation destination for both of them based on SJH’s post.

As we know SSH is immensely popular in Japan.

So so happy with new released Japan promo VID. 

Looks like Japanese fans cannot move on like us that they have decided to re broadcast DM next month.

I would imagine they have more pre-recorded vids yet to be released.
 

If not for this pandemic, they would have been doing press junket rounds worldwide Japan, Southeast Asia and maybe even in the US.

Thanks for the looks of SSH showing his vulnerability, he just can’t help it.

 

With Japan doing a rebroadcast of DM because of it popularity, say Netflix gets involved someday/somehow, what’s the chance Tori considers doing DM 2 or at least a half season.  The characters are so lovable except maybe the exes, the series could pick up from there.  As far as production cost this could be done at a lower budget with your major cost being locations and salaries especially SSH and SJH.  I realize the ratings were not as strong in Korea although this was probably more about the story getting away from  them when they focused too much on the exes in and around episode 11 to 14.  After the truck of doom occurred, the series’s got back on track to it’s ending.  Lots of storylines could be continued and be well received by the public.  Here hoping Tori gets on board with this.

@Jimmy Greene, I am one with you in hoping that with DM’s popularity in Japan and Southeast Asia, Netflix would be able to pick it up. But it’s all on VC’s hands. 

For now, I am just glad for the love our Lovebirds are getting from Japanese fans.

I agree with you @fiona628that Song Seung Heon really showed his heart to Seo Ji Hye while they were doing Dinner Mate and also post DM during their interviews for Japanese fans. He did not bottle up his feelings or hid his admiration for SJH ❤ SSH did not think about what others would say when they saw how he expressed himself to SJH ❤ We all saw how happy SSH was when he was with SJH and he can't help but always make loving, longing glances to SJH as if he is mesmerized or in awe or stunned with her ❤ I really pray and wish that they will be together and be married soon ❤

A little story about a ring
 

Next month on May 25, 2021 will be the one year anniversary of the drama Dinner Mate.

A wonderful plan has been prepared by the shippers. Can't wait for that moment.

 

While waiting for good news from our couple, I try to reminisce on a scene where KHK comes to WDH's neighborhood only to return WDH's ring that she unknowingly dropped it in his car.
At that time KHK awkwardly reasoned her that he went somewhere and then he stopped by coincidentally to return her ring.

Imagining if at that time WDH didn't drop her ring on his car, there would be no reason for KHK to come to see her and find out how attractive his new dinner mate was when she was half drunk (he doesn't know yet that she is WDH, the girl from 2NBox who cursed at him).

It seems that KHK became interested in WDH when he saw her behavior at that time, where she wittily refused his good intentions to take her to her home.

In addtion their fateful encounter on the bridge, WDH ring is the object that is the reason how their relationship becomes closer to each other and the incident of the ring falling in the car is part of their destiny.

 

 

 

 

It seems that SJH as a WDH in DM and SJH as a person really likes ring.

In DM camping scene, while waiting for Sora (who had secretly arranged a scheme for her so that she could camp with KHK), she was seen crouching in the grass and pinning a ring of wild flowers on her finger.

How SSH is around SJH and how he takes care of her is what we love about SSH. 

I think it is safe to say that at this point, SSH is truly madly in love with SJH. 

He can’t get enough of her.  

He’s just so helpless around her 

His eyes screams of happiness. 

The puppy stares, smiles, giving massages, endless compliments he gives her.

These are gestures only a guy will do if he is so into you.

She still cooks for her even if she is married now. 

SJH is really nurturing, sweet and caring.

I am grateful though that KJH’s fans acknowledged that and she did not get a backlash from his fans

 

And thus one reason why SSH fell so hard for SJH is because she is an absolutely beautiful inside and out human being

She will be a great Wife and a Mother someday
