My thought is this as well. Whatever SJ's mom had to do with that woman and her husbands relationship in the past may have caused an issue where the woman's child was lost. I can't see YJ's mom picking up a stray kid as she did not want to keep her own grandson. But I do think the YJ's dad picked YJ up from somewhere. Either she was wondering around or was left somewhere at a young age (or even just born) and he took the child in against his wife's wishes. It had to be early enough that YR would not remember it. Most of the time when this happens they never do a formal adoption. Its mostly they found the kid try to locate the family and if they can't then they assume the kid was abandoned and they raise it. This later of course brings up issues if the child's bio family shows up and wants the kid back. 

 

My thought is YR has been jealous of YJ for a long time. From what his wife said in the last episode about him favoring YJ my guess is YJ has always been sweet and nice even as a kid which made the dad like her. YR has seen this and was jealous and wanted to take everything from YJ. The mother favoring her own born children barely tolerated this as she could see her husband doted on YJ and felt jealous as well. Her attitude and behavior to YJ is too over the top even going as far as to steal the work she was doing and sending it to YR and dared to say she can do worse to YJ if she does not quit. What's sad is even knowing this YJ is protecting her from going to jail by taking the hit and possibly getting fired so they don't investigate this woman. Yet we know if they do still find out YR will not come forward to help her as she can not claim to know her own mom. Just like before when she almost went to jail and YR did not much to help her. YR would again watch her mom go to jail to save them from knowing that YR was behind the leek. 

 

My guess is YR is pushed in a corner now afraid of what YJ will say or even MH. YR will figure out that YJ and MH are a pair and she will throw it in SJ's face. Once she does that SJ will feel betrayed by them and will turn on them both feeling like they played him for a fool. YR will twist it all up to make him do so to get rid of YJ and MH and it will hurt SJ when he listens to her. 

 

Its only later he will realize how foolish he was to turn on the two people who where his friends and feeling betrayed when he never had a romance with YJ. Listening to YR will end up with SJ in a bad place later. His true betrayal will come in learning all about YR's past.

The mom ( Yeo Sook-Ja) really doesn't like the way Mr Han plays favorite but she too plays. YSJ treats both Yu Ra and Yoo-Myung differently. THe Synopsis said they are twins but I can't see it. Yoo Jung is finally able to think for herself. But somehow YU Ra found a way to stop her from ever succeeding in life because she is insecure. SHe believes that kicking her out will make SJ forget her. That is not true at all. 

Look at what happens now, the mom told some secrets to a reporter and now Yoo Jung will have to face Criminal charges. Did the mom care for YJ when she did that not at all. YJ told her SJ and her are just friends but the mother doesn't believe her. WHy doesn't the woman believe her at all if she is her child???  YSJ disgust me.

Eu Dong , My love. 7. Unbelievable Inheritance  8. 

Its very true about the father. I don't think he loves YJ enough to truly go against his own family. I agree with you if he had he never would have allowed her to become a single mother if he loved her. They wanted the grandchild but did not want the responsibility of having a child around without the mother. I am sure they did not force YJ to become a mom to the kid but YJ did it on her own as to complete her vow to TP and his mom and her own guilt. They just never stopped her or cared about the woman they once worked for. 

 

YR is exactly as you described and crazy to boot. I am just waiting on her to start spewing out all kinds of hate to her family when she is exposed as having lied about her background to marry into that family. It will become their fault that she was exposed instead of her own for her daring to lie and do something like that. 

 

The mother does not believe because YR is her child and she is wholly on her child living well while YJ should support that decision and behavior at the cost of her own happiness and life. No one who truly cares about a person would harm them to the point that they could go to jail. Now if it comes to that point and she hears about it she will be scared to death to go to jail and will cry to everyone about it when she never should have done it helping YR. YR only used her and will never step up for her.

This is my point.. the more that YR engages others or causes a scene to involve others there is a risk that someone may question as you said if YJ and SJ have already been together and that kid is his. It won't take much for someone to start digging into YJ's past which could ultimately lead right back to YR. Especially SJ's mom who is trying to keep an eye on the two. 

 

I like that she is fighting back as well. YR keeps pushing her over and over being snide and condescending looking at YJ like she is trash. The more she does things to harm YJ and push her away the more she is tempering YJ to become someone awesome later.   So even though I hate how much she causes issues for YJ I think YJ needs to get a good dose of her mother and YR so she can stop protecting them and start protecting herself.

I'm not sure why people think Yoo Jung is adopted. The mom doesn't seem to care much for the brother either.  I have seen way too many K Dramas where the parent treats their own flesh and blood like cr**.  My thoughts from the beginning was that Ye jin the amnesiac mom's daughter was going to have turned out to be pregnant when she ran away and met the other guy.  I thought that would have been interesting. Then Ye Jin and Seo Joon would be siblings. I think Yoo Ra has always been a covetous witch and the mom over compensated because she demanded excess attention. Yoo Ra's personality was to always want more and want what someone else has.

@GingerKEdit: meant to say the mom of Ye-Jin was pregnant when she was run off.

@Ameera Ali  I think you are thinking of second ML who was hogging the screen in FP. Second FL was the idiot cardiac specialist who aborted hero's baby. That cannot be forgiven in kdrama. YR gave birth, so she may be whitewashed so much at the end, we will all get sick.

mom is so dumb. she will learn her lesson if DL group fines yujung 3 million for the loss. then it will make mom wake up because yura is not going to cough up that money.... mom needs to get totally backstabbed by yura for her to realize that this kid deserves no pity.

 

@maribella ~ I really don't think yura will get off easy. as @nohamahamoud2002 pointed out, the list of yura's wrongdoings are long. there is only jail sentence for her eventually or she is the type of character to jump off the bridge herself. she can't stand losing. she didn't even blink on meeting her own child after many years and there is no scene of her feeling any emotional pangs about it. neither does the family ask about how she feels. so they all know on one level she is selfish. so don't expect to see this mom angle play out as her ticket to redemption. am reminded of the drama jang bori where the evil character basically ended in jail and also getting some physical ailment. there was no magic reconciliation. so it could happen in a similar fashion here as well. fingers crossed.

 

@Naty828 ~ there was no episode yet about a lost daughter of the president. it is just speculation from some viewers that maybe ye jin and seo jun are actually half siblings. my assumption that it was the restaurant ajusshi's daughter only. so lets see how it plays out.. I really liked how her mom told yu myung that their relationship has been very toxic for ye jin. she is right -- if it affected ye jin so negatively, how will it play out later? can I hope these two will break up?

 

@hell59 ~ watched the preview twice and it is not clear to me either. thought it was yujung's kid but he seems to be walking with someone in glasses and I don't recognize that character. guess we will just have to wait for next week...

 

@Ldy Gmerm ~ yura has grown up with a sense of entitlement. actually most of her schemes are not even that clever and easily come to light. however, she keeps getting away with it and so she keeps believing that people can either be bullied or bought with money. am waiting for lady joo to find out the true nature of yura and then to see these two scorpions fight -- unlike the others, lady joo is just as manipulative and deceptive; she cannot be easily bullied and neither can she be bought. so then it will be truly interesting.

 

yujung has always been a pushover and too mindful of others. but there's always a breaking point for someone and it will be interesting to see what that is for her -- at what point will she scream her head off at mom and turn on yura? am guessing that it will have to do with the son. then we will see the maternal instinct turn into rage!

@Nathy828, There was not a specific episode talking about a long lost daughter, it is just an assumption.  The writer has scripted things in a certain way that is could be possible that JY  could be the chairmans daughter.

I believe YR will persuade SJ's parents to give her a high post in the company. She'd tell her mil that if she works with SJ, she can keep him in check. She'd also do her best to kick YJ and TP out.

@hell59 @Lmangla That man with the kid in the preview was the man YR hired to be her fake father at the family meeting when she met SJ's family (before she got married to SJ) back in Episode 31. Since he no longer has to pretend to be YR's father anymore, he's most likely walking with his actual son. So, maybe SJ will figure that out soon?

We can't use human reactions or normal legal definitions with kdramas. Some are especially 'strange', to put it nicely. It depends on the writer and I am quite sure the ratings, the reactions of Korean viewers. In the show 'First love', the main antagonist directed the kidnapping of a baby, tried to kill someone and many dastardly deeds but she ended up in prison for 3 (three) years!! Many more shows I thankfully have forgotten.

In the show Teacher Oh Soon Nam, terrible show. The second lead took over the screen. She was also very obnoxious and had a cute kid whom she had abandoned. Then she killed herself, not before showing her remorse, reconciling with the kid  etc. etc... 

 

I don't hope for anything much, but my wish list YR is is prison and alone. The mother is not related to anyone decent or influential to help her. YJ the idiot ends up with genius syndrome like TP.

@Lmangla the only thing I am expecting about YR is the same as the lawyer in Fatal promise, he ended up in jail and cried when he remembered his son Eunchan. He even told the FL that he won't claim his son and that it's better for him not to know about his father's existence in the first place. So I think Yura will regret it later that she can't have children, perhaps she can't get pregnant again, but she will just accept that Minhu has YJ for a mother because she is not fit to be a mother.
