This drama reminds of of legend of chusen since I see a lot of familiar faces!

I found very little on what happened between Wu Tong and LingLong in the novel so I went through the whole thing (w/google translate) myself. Wu Tong directs way more anger and hatred towards LindLong in the drama than in the novel. In the novel he didn't really do much but he kept her in prison/soul taken away for pretty long (half a year sometimes a whole year was mentioned, not certain about that bit). There is not much text on what happened during that time, just two chapters. 第六十五章 幽禁（一）and 幽禁（二）

玲珑四处看了半天，只当是自己听错了，暗暗吐一口气，却不敢把断金收回去，只在周围走来走去，寻思究竟下一步该怎么办。

 

没走几步，头顶忽然又传来一声轻笑，还是那个声音。玲珑心中大骇，厉声道：“什么人！？”手里的断金毫不犹豫地挥出去，只见金光一闪，对面一株碗口粗的大树立时断成了两截，轰然倒地，枝叶『乱』飘，却依然没半个人影。

 

月『色』惨淡，林中偶尔有夜枭啼鸣两声，周围十分安静，静的甚至让她汗『毛』倒立。

 

“是……是人是鬼？！出来！”她又挥了一剑，对面的大树便遭了殃，被她这样胡『乱』挥剑，也不知倒了多少株。

彼时林中夜『色』昏暗，她也看不清此人究竟是何模样，只觉一双眼睛亮若星辰，有些熟悉，一时竟想不起究竟是谁。

 

那人低声一笑，轻道：“想不到他办事倒是利索，你这便随我去吧。”

 

玲珑大怒，抬手要去抽剑，然而无论如何也抽不出来。失去了断金的玲珑，基本就等于一只鸟被人缚住了翅膀，任人宰割了。她气急之下卯足了劲去抽剑，那人却足尖一点，仿佛没有重量一般，又飞了起来。

 

玲珑这下用力过大，断金被一把拔出，她却也收不住势，往后急急踉跄，眼看便要摔倒。

 

肩上忽然被人一扶，她下意识地要用剑刺他，谁知那人出手如电，点了她右肩的『穴』道，断金咣当一声摔落在地。

 

玲珑惊呼一声，却被那人捂住了嘴。

 

他贴着她的耳朵，轻轻在她脸上一吻，冰冷的吻。

 

“可算捉住你了。”

 

他说。

当日她在高氏山遭遇突袭，被人『迷』晕，醒过来的时候，身处一个黑暗的洞『穴』里，周围没有一点声音，也没半个人。洞壁上一盏小油灯，轻轻跳跃。她又慌又怕，下意识地『摸』了『摸』腰间——断金还在，这个发现让她松了一口气。

 

正要起身逃走，手腕和脚踝上却忽然牵动了一串金属碰撞声，玲珑这时才发觉自己四肢都被细细的金『色』链子拴住了，四根链子钉死在洞壁上，长度只能够她在这个山洞里来回走一圈。

“真是烈『性』。”他低声说着。玲珑紧紧闭上眼，不看他，恍若不闻。不防他“刺啦”一声撕开她的外衣，玲珑只吓得肝胆俱裂，尖叫起来，猛然抱住自己的身体。

I think the star of tonight episodes is Si Feng father. Just love seeing him acting like protective father to his son. I hope I can understand better the conversation between him and Xuan Ji father (it was so funny that they were fighting in front of their children). I hope he can have a better ending in the drama than in the novel. It was so heartbreaking .....

 

Hao Chen just plainly annoying. He just got worse from one episode to the next. Xuan Ji father and the whole lot from Shaoyang showed to be spineless. Just a bunch of cowards that afraid to stand out.

 

So far the drama did a good job in adapting the novel. I even say that I prefer the drama since the characterization is stronger in the drama.

 

The new MV deals mainly with Si Feng and his father. Very much love it. This father son interaction was rather lacking in the novel.

LOL he totally sees himself as the good guy though, and he justifies all his actions to be for the goal of the greater good.

I just started the drama and I'm in love! I'm on ep 13 and I'm a bit confused about what's going on though LOL are they at Mount Gao because they want to find a piece of the mirror or what? I had to watch the ep in a rush so I would appreciate it if someone can catch me up with what's going on so far.

 

Also..please don't tell me this whole drama is angst. My fav drama is Ashes of Love because there were so many sweet moments and angst (a good mix imo). The love was clear on both ends. If Love and Redemption is just tears, one-sided love, and angst, Idt I can bear to continue watching...  From the trailers and stuff, it really seems like the ML is the only person suffering whereas the FL looks a bit cold? I really hope she loves him early on in the game

i marathon till the latest episode!!!! lol.. i love ep 24 where XJ stands for SF and even reveal her true power infront of everyone... that HC never thought XJ power is sooo powerful... 

 

I like the way SF teach XJ on how to love only one person.. and should not hug other ppl except him.. hahahahha.. so cute <3

 

the finally know how to jealous when the fox appeared infront SF.. XJ is soo cute too..

Xuan Ji does love Si Feng though, it's just that her six senses are blocked that nobody believes her and she is half-oblivious of the fact. She's a bit cold right now because she doesn't know how to feel, but I read a comment on douban that suits her situation: just because she doesn't feel pain doesn't mean that she doesn't get injured. There's gonna be more sweet moments once they gather more pieces of the mirrors and her senses get recovered, although yes, also plenty of angst.

Xuan Ji character development throughout the story is very interesting to watch. At first, I think she latched herself to Si Feng because he was one of the people that accepted her and didn't bully her. But later on she was unconsciously attracted to him. If not, I don't think she would be that hard working in making Si Feng forgive her after 4 years separation. She didn't know the name of the feeling she had. She only knew she wanted to be close to him and for him to care for her.

 

The drama has very good pace in my opinion. It doesn't feel draggy until now.

Just finished EP 10, and awwww!!!! It's nice to see SF and XJ reunited, even though the misunderstanding is breaking my heart. Lol every time XJ came near SF, he cannot control his emotions; I feel bad for him. Usually the FL likes the ML first, but in this drama, the ML likes the FL---aware of his emotions for her first^^---nice to see a change for that. ChengYi as SF is just so handsome, he displays SF's characteristics and manners so well^^. I hope MingYan tells LingLong that she's the one that he likes, LL is quick to jump to conclusion and I agreed with MingYan about that lol. Love the CGI use in this drama, it's really nice. I can tell they put in consideration to use good special effects. Love seeing SF and XJ scenes^^, they are so adorable!!!!!!!!
