You guys have been discussing about HC's feelings for XJ a few pages back but my bigger question is which version of XJ he actually has feelings for? God of War, XJ or LHDJ/MSX? I've been seeing some takes on weibo, and a lot of people think that he actually has feelings for LHJD (based on their history together), instead of the XJ version. This is probably why he was able to grow that flower lamp thing. It'll be interesting to see how it all unfolds once MSX is revived.

Yes it has been there since yesterday. I still have a hangover for watching 9 episodes on a roll... and also a rollercoaster emotions from all the angsts. And my level of hatred towards HC is getting higher by episodes. Now i just wanna rewatch all the sweet moments SF & XJ together, and also Tengshe..

Just finished watching ep 23 and 24! Thank goodness the torturing ended in ep 23. Poor SF! Loved how XJ stood up for him!

HC treats SF so bad? Doesn't HC recognize SF and or know his real identity as the Heavenly King's son? Unless HC doesn't know this yet. If he does know, that would be interesting bc being the Heavenly King's son is a pretty high status.

 

Unless....SF lost some of his status bc he followed XJ to the mortal realm/helped XJ, God of War, when she was known as someone who revolted/did wrong to the Heavenly Realm (which was why she was punished)?

@ayang23 I ll tell whatever I understood.  Actually GOW(XJ) used to share her daily stories whatever happens with a bird (SF) when she was in heavenly realm.  So when she comes to know dijun(HC) used her to kill her own persons she rebelled.  At that time the bird told her that it will also take her sufferings and hence the 9 lives trials & tribulations.  So when both of them became mortal's, SF suffered with Xj in all those lives.  Actually an immortal(HC) cannot interfere in mortal's day-to-day affairs, so he cannot do anything with XJ-SF affairs.  But he thought that he will really lose her to SF and so now he has taken the risk in their 10th life and hence, the villanous acts.  Hope this helps.

 

Don't think the torture ends in ep.23.  the major one starts in ep.,37 and lasts long, I think nearly 10 episodes.

I just finished ep 44, what a roller coaster! I guess that at this point we will not get happy moments until the last episode

I've been waiting for this drama to air for a year now. I've just started watching this drama last week. Only 24 episodes have been english subbed so far. So far, loving it. Not a single episode is dragging at all. It's been able to keep my interest going. Love that the FL is so powerful and is able to protect the man she loves. I love when she rebels and becomes mad powerful with her sword. That's my type of heroin. 

 

I thought this drama aired on August 6, 2020 and will continue to air until sometimes in October 2020. Why are there so many episodes out already?
