So, at some point I think CY figures out that the "mute page boy" is actually XY, there's a short clip of him escorting her outside and they are in the same outfits, maybe she asked to go "view" the fireworks (why are there fireworks)? The page boy is in the distance watching, pretty sure this happens right before their "Signed & sealed" kiss, I wonder if she regains her sight, maybe at least some of it? I wonder if she pretends to be blinded still hehe. It's hard to tell from the clip if she can see, some of the BTS shows them filming a close up scene of her hand on his face, kind of like she is verifying it's him, and he brushes her hand off, with tears falling down his face. 

 

I think she does regain her sight, bc the next scene of them eating seems to be the day after?

I think from the preview, XY will be preparing to go to war or ambush a place maybe DS lair, and CY then follow him there? Because where they hug it is not the palace nor xue mansion, and it seems desolated.

I read on DramaWiki that the screen writer of this drama is the same with the drama My Girlfriend is An Alien (2019).

*sigh.. that drama,  If there was award for making the female lead suffer the most, it would win. Didn't even think I could watch a sad ending drama until that one, and it messed me up for so long. So, now I don't want sad ending dramas LOL.

From what I google translated,

XY: Fool, we haven't seen each other for just one day

CY: I just miss you.

 

The second scene doesn't translate well, but I think it's just them using the anklet to recommit themselves to each other. He seems to reference what she said after they got rescued from the cave and were in the carriage. 

 

3rd scene: 

CY says: XY, Just take me with you,okay? 

The next part doesn't translate well, but she says something like how life and death are fated? Everything between them they'll leave to God, and that she doesn't want to be apart from him.

I’ve been soft since he combed her hair for her. I can’t stay mad at him lol I know it’ll have a happy ending it’s just the process of it seeing him care for her is going to make my heartache our cold general learned to love

I couldn’t watch goodbye my princess the title said it all 

and omg I was waiting for that ankle bell to make a comeback it represents their love

While waiting for The Sleeping Princess to finish, I went to watch Love of a Thousand Years (The Killing of Three Thousand Crows). He is also very cute in it, though a little less stern and masculine compared to his general character in The Sleepless Princess. I adored him in Let's Shake It! I feel like he's pairing up with several of my favorite actresses through his dramas! An Yue Xi, Zhao Lu Si, Hu Yi Xuan...all lovely actresses that can act really well! I wonder if he'll act with Bai Lu or Li Yi Tong in the future too!

It is kinda sad that the ending is coming. But it's inevitable... I felt that when IOTNBO came to an end as well. Hopefully we also get a satisfying ending with this one.

 

Preview for Episode 34:

 

CY hugs XY and doesn't let go. (I think she had a dream of him in danger... that's why she's holding on to him and wanting to go with him.)

XY: Silly girl. It's only been a day since we last saw each other.

CY: But I just miss you.

XY: Alright, alright. Come on, be good. (tries to extricate himself but she holds on)

 

They are lying in bed. XY takes out that ankle bracelet.

XY: Do you still remember this? Back then you said that you were willing to be my prisoner. Now, I'm returning it to you, so that you'll never escape my prison. (kisses her forehead and holds her close)

 

The next morning (probably), XY is ready to leave.

thank you for sharing your long post!! i enjoy reading everyone's posts heheh but LOL one of the many things that grabbed my attention to this drama was how...tough and persistent CY is..i found it especially fascinating and strangely satisfying whenever she would push (or shove lolll) XY away or just be aggressive with him bc he was also aggressive with her. she may be small and has no fighting skills but she can be wild and clever - her character intrigued me from the beginning haha

@keryl welcome!!! i agree with you..CY and HYX shine so bright in this series, I can't imagine anyone more perfect for our princess' role. i reallyyy pray that she gets offered more amazing roles and opportunities to shine in the near future ;__; 

 

@pa ma honestly I'm still learning how to post too haha i just recently learned how to tag others xD but gosh i couldn't agree more; his outfits and the design of everything..the textures and embroidery q____q I've never been this interested in period drama clothing before!! i mean other dramas have amazing clothes too, but idk this drama is just exactly my preference in so many things. i also agree that XY's clothes look nice in action scenes; he looks sooooooooo cool..and of course CY's flowy, light, and sometimes simple outfits are always so so pretty - she's like flower petals just drifting with the wind

i heard some good things about this drama but since it's a little hard to access, idk if I'll watch it x( plus I'm on my phone more often than my laptop so downloading the episodes might be harder for me...i feel like one day I'll do it for ZYC tho haha
