OCN's new Saturday and Sunday original 'Times' (screenplay Sae-bom Lee, Hye-jin Ahn, and Jong-ho Yoon) reported that Jeong-in Seo (Lee Ju-young), who was connected to the reporter Lee Jin-woo (Lee Seo-jin) from five years ago, prevented the death of her father Seo Ki-tae (Kim Young-cheol). It is a time warp political mystery drama. Following the teaser video released one after another, the teaser poster, which was unveiled on the 13th, also led prospective viewers to the world of a distorted timeline peculiar to'Time Warp'.

e58f6b7c9297a17eae06ea6b86500a77.jpg

The space where the pitch-black darkness settled down and a ray of light shining on it created a subtle sense of tension, and the image of Jin-woo Lee rushing toward somewhere was captured. Here, the Roman numerals on the floor and Lee Jin-woo's shadow, reminiscent of a clock hand, are harmonized to show the shape of the clock in a fragmentary way. In this way, it contained Lee Jin-woo's will to pursue the hidden truth even if it transcends time.

The production crew said, “The teaser poster released on the 13th is a symbolic image of Jinwoo Lee, who set foot in the world of Time Warp where the past and the future are connected. The Time Warp narrative was expressed on a clock board and a character named Jin-woo Lee who changed the destiny of the narrative against the clock hands."

OCN has shared a behind-the-scenes look at the first filming for “Times”!

“Times” is an upcoming “time-warp” political mystery drama starring Lee Joo Young as Seo Jung In, the daughter of South Korean president Seo Gi Tae (Kim Young Chul). After miraculously connecting via phone call with journalist Lee Jin Woo (Lee Seo Jin) from five years in the past, Seo Jung In attempts to prevent the death of her father—but stumbles upon a dangerous truth in the process.

In the behind-the-scenes clip, Lee Seo Jin, Lee Joo Young, and Kim Young Chul introduce their characters as they embark on filming for the first time. Lee Seo Jin shows some impressive acting as he plays a reporter on the hunt for clues, but ends up needing help from the production staff in order to operate a professional camera. Later, he jokes around with supporting actors by ad-libbing lines in the middle of other lines and throwing them off during rehearsal.

Lee Joo Young talks about working with Moon Jung Hee and Yoo Sung Joo for the first time and shares how they took care of her on set, making sure she sat down between takes. She adds, “Seo Jung In doesn’t believe that her father is dead and breaks down crying at his funeral. It wasn’t easy to start off with such an emotional scene on the first filming, but I did my best.”

Kim Young Chul starts to explain what he is filming, but gets censored by the production staff due to potential spoilers. He concludes, “There is a secret hidden there. If you’re curious, please watch the drama.” Later, he says, “Just like with every project, the first filming is always the hardest. After about four or five episodes, you assimilate yourself into your character and things flow more naturally. However, our first filming is going well.”

OCN’s upcoming drama “Times” released exciting new character teasers of Lee Joo Young and Lee Seo Jin!

“Times” is a “time-warp” political mystery drama starring Lee Joo Young as Seo Jung In, the daughter of South Korean president Seo Gi Tae (played by Kim Young Chul). After miraculously communicating with journalist Lee Jin Woo (Lee Seo Jin) from five years in the past by phone call, Seo Jung In attempts to prevent the death of her father – but stumbles upon a dangerous truth in the process.

In Lee Joo Young’s character teaser, Seo Jung In’s voice over shares, “I’m not the president’s daughter Seo Jung In.” Instead, she introduces herself as reporter Seo Jung In. Nonetheless, the teaser portrays her close relationship with her father Seo Gi Tae as the two celebrate Seo Jung In’s birthday together.

The next clip, however, shows a memorial for Seo Gi Tae. Seo Jung In shares, “After waking up from sleeping, everything had changed overnight as if someone had fabricated everything.” The text, “The truth that transcended time,” appears on screen. In the background, a different reporter’s voice announces, “Seo Jung In, the daughter of the deceased Seo Gi Tae, has begun to raise questions about the death of her father.”

Suddenly, an unexpected call arrives from Lee Jin Woo, who is living in 2015. Seo Jung In explains, “It’s 2020 here. Lee Jin Woo, you’re in 2015. Tomorrow, my father dies. Please save my father.”

Lee Seo Jin’s character teaser connects from where Lee Joo Young’s left off. In 2015, Lee Jin Woo receives a call from the Seo Jung In living in 2020. Lee Jin Woo replies, “You want me to believe that I’m being connected with the future?” He continues to express his disbelief but eventually asks, “So, am I living well?” Seo Jung In replies, “No, you died.”

Seo Jung In continues to plead, “Please help me, Lee Jin Woo,” and Lee Jin Woo finally replies, “Let’s do it. If I stay still, that incident will just be covered up. If there’s something wrong, we have to grab onto it until the end and set things right whether 10 years, 20 years, or 100 years pass by.”

New character teasers have been released for upcoming OCN original drama, Times. Featuring Lee Seo-jin (Trap) and Lee Joo-young (Itaewon Class), Times is about two reporters who pursue the same case together–from two different timelines. It’s a life or death matter and the latest teasers set the pace as they shed some light on what’s at stake if the Lee duo fail in their efforts.

In the teaser for Lee Seo-jin’s character, it’s 2015 and he suddenly receives an abrupt phone call from a frantic Lee Joo-young, claiming that she’s from the future. In the teaser, after he receives that phone call, he reacts with disbelief and distrust, asking her: “What are you?”

Copy appears onscreen: “A truth that transcends time.” She sincerely begs for him to help her, and in the end, he says yes. His character is introduced as Lee Jin-woo, a reporter that seeks the truth and holds strong convictions. A series of different scenes race by and we see a reporters frantically taking photos, a press conference at the Blue House and a man with a long-range rifle. We see Lee Seo-jin racing down a hallway and in voiceover, he’s says, “If there was wrongdoing, it needs to be corrected no matter what. It doesn’t matter if it was ten, twenty, or a hundred years ago.”

In Lee Joo-young’s teaser, it’s 2020, and her character is trying to establish her own identity as Reporter Seo Jung-in, instead of as her father’s daughter. But it’s a little difficult when her father is the president of Korea.

We see her father lovingly wish her a happy 26th birthday and holding up her cake so she can blow out the candles. But as the candles go out, we hear a gunshot and the next shot seems like a different world. She wakes up with a start and everything has changed.

In her voiceover, she says that everything had changed overnight, as if things had all been made up by someone. A memorial for her father is shown, and she sobs in front of it. We see a crowd of people mobbing a car and a quick cut of a gunman. A news anchor reports Seo Jung-in’s request for investigations regarding the truth of her congressman father’s death.
