Honestly, he doesn't seem back to his old self yet. Watching Mr. Queen BTS clips, and it still seems that he's either quite anxious or depressed. He was very much more relaxed in BTS clips and interviews when Welcome to Waikiki was airing, even laughing and acting silly.

Overcoming an eating disorder can take years. I hope he is getting help to become less demanding towards himself and finding happiness within himself.

Yes, i saw it too, that nervous, sombre energy around him. He’s vastly better than his previous Time days, and I am happy (because atleast he’s not in that crippling, debilitating mental state where he’s almost suicidal):bawling:

Not to mention online bullies were absolutely vicious and toxic to him, and that kind of emotional trauma is difficult to get over, esp if a part of your job demands you to have a good relationship with your fans :/

He’s a textbook-case of what can go wrong with method-acting, and the only more heartbreaking case I can think of, is Heath Ledger :(

Yes, eating disorders (your relationship with food) can take tears to fix. But diet, nutrient and calorie-wise, he’s in a good place (it’s impossible to have that physique without getting apt dietary requirements)...and I am happy for him and this gradual progress! Hope his waikiki days will be back soon!

Look at his face, it went from excitement to disappointment in one second.

Bwahahaha! He’s like: ‘hello...excuse me Sir, are you coming back?!’

wonders to self: *did i just get turned down?* *what can I do to get a repeat performance?* *pouts*

We’ve seen So Bong crying truly just once and it was because of Cheoljong, but nope, So Bong’s feelings weren’t valid because that would be too “weird” for So Bong to care for Cheoljong because they’re both dudes.

Why do I feel like BongHwan is one of those men who believe ‘men don’t cry?’. The fact he cried for Cheoljong is even more proof how much he cares for him, and perhaps even *loves* him though he’s got time before he acknowledges it....

Can you imagine how would Koreans react if the last scene was CJH and KJH gazing at each other longingly LMAO?

Honestly, if Cheoljong is a woman in 2021, Imma have my pitchfork ready, because the 19 episodes before finale woulda been a LIEEEE! :bawling:

Guide of : how the royal child was made

The Tale Of The King’s Failed Mission   Our king had a very important mission, he even sent his brother away in order to succeed in his task.   5 minutes later.

Watching it with subs made the final episode even worse.   I’m so tired of people saying So Bong was only influenced by So Yong’s emotions and feelings. You people had your happy generic het

EP 15

Every single time when the writer ruins a character, the writer uses that awful cheap flashbacks! This is ridiculous.

It looks like writer is going to replace Kim Jwa Geun with Kim Byeong In. Then why did writer made young Kim Byeong In save young Cheol Jong? And I can easily notice how So Bong never clearly explain anything to Byeong In (they barely talk to each other), and Byeong In doesn't visit So Bong much despite him being second lead. This leads to both Byeong In and So Bong having misinformation and misunderstanding. That's how writer could continue to make him as a villain.

Even though Prince Yeong Phyeong was ruined with that stupid cheap flashback, I like the fact that he tried to persuade Jo Hwa Jin to come back to good side. He loves her enough to let what she did slide, but he's not fine with her staying evil. When she tried to talk herself as a victim again, he strongly retorted that she shouldn't think that way. I bet Prince Yeong Phyeong could let it slide because it mainly only affected Kim clan.

But I don't trust the writer, so I don't know what Prince Yeong Phyeong would do.

Anyway, so did So Yong's father die or what? Did the writer just kill off her father after the crime book plot was over? Did writer kill off her father, so that king doesn't have to worry about her father? I wouldn't be surprised if the writer actually did that.

Cheol Jong finding about the well secret is also kind of lackluster. I thought it would be stretched out longer with continuous hints of him being closer to the truth. Seriously? That easily? In one day? Two hints from So Bong and then another from Jo Hwa Jin, and that's it? Also, I thought Jo Hwa Jin had the book with her, not Cheol Jong? I remember her trying to erase So Yong's name in the book.

I loved So Bong's ramyeon innuendo with clueless Cheol Jong. I am disappointed that it had to end, especially with such a ridiculous figured out in one day lackluster truth.

So Bong's revenge was awesome. I especially liked the scene with Jo Hwa Jin because it was serious.

I'm glad Kim Hwan let go of Hong Yeon. It was sad, but heartwarming. I also liked the scene with Special Director Hong and him.

And I agree with Special Director Hong. If I was him, I would complain about my job too. Cheol Jong better give him a vacation after it's all over.

The preview is ridiculous with So Bong with a sword looking like So Bong is going to sword fight with Kim Jaw Geun. I hope it's a dream or just So Bong imagining it.

It's so weird I have to say. My only theory is because his profile photo is not a photo of himself, hence they can't verify if it's the same person. Cause I know to get verified one has to send ID to confirm there identity.

Edit: a close-up photo of himself I meant

verified or not im just happy he finally back on sns after series of hacking that led him to deactivated his old insta. he made promise to communicate more and he keeps his promise

Looks like the Special Forces thread is about to be pulled. The king's men are already crack shots. What's missing is drill and tactics. Chef or not, So Bong would have been trained in all of that.

So did Han Shim Ong get castrated right away?? Because that means So Bong changed the future... Jang Bong Hwan won’t fall into a pool at the needed moment and won’t meet Cheoljong...

OMG!! The conversation about ramyeon both inner and outer ones are choked full with sexual innuendos......:omg: I believe SB cannot sleep that night because the unconscious linger feelings of what happened during the hot night and wants a repeat (Darn!! I should just say she is horny).  CheolJongie is definitely knows his wife bedroom habits and trying to seduced her but that precious book got in the way....:brokenheart:The ramyeon got soggy and swollen and was not eaten.....:criesariver: JBH is turns more and more into KSY....:coolshades:  She even has the feelings of SY that the book is precious and feels the affection to Dad too.

BI is definitely a great politician. His achievements in short period of time is equivalent to what Dad and CheolJongie achieved in years combined. He is playing many fields single-handedly and his background still a mystery. For sure it will be a bomb....

Prince YeongPyeong trying to turns HJ around, so far doesn't looks succesful. I hope either HJ changes her way or if she can't he will realises that he needs to put his priority right in action. Not only knows how to reprimanded ChoelJongie.

To be honest I asked because of the exact problem. His account will be more secure and protective if anyone try to hack it again. But you are right. He could stay on hiatus but he didn't which is nice. So yeah, enjoy his updates to the fullest.

I wondered why the book is in king hand, last time was in HJ hand. Perhaps the last meeting with HJ at ep 15 he asked the truth and HJ turn the book to the king and admited her lie story?

The one in HJ's is hers, the one with The King is KSY's that had been hocus pocus into HJ's book.

@aisling

Episode 15 does showcases CheolJongie’s loves for his wife. His eyes turns soft when he looks at her. He smiles tenderly at her antics no matter how outrageous. He feels the electric currents when they have physical contacts. He defended her when his half bro was mortified at her behavior.....:please:

Most importantly he understand her sexually....:twerk2:He knows what turns her ON :shaq:

I find So Bong’s failure to resist her attraction to Cheoljong sooo entertaining. He must have left quite an impression on her. Looks like So Bong is gonna be simping over Cheoljong in the next episode. Can’t wait. Also, is anyone else wary of Cheoljong’s brother? He’s super suspicious.

So Sobong is going to attempt to change history...Here We Go Again GIF.

I mean literally every single time a character from the future attempts to change history  thinking the "knew better" , getting arrogant in their knowledge, they only end up making things worse.  Anyone who watched the Chinese Version of Scarlet Heart knows exactly what I mean..

People from the future cannot understand the past, even though they might know the future. Once you play god and attempt to change things , it's bound to have consequences you least expect, because if you attempt to change the future you know, you're now putting yourself in a future that is uncertain.

You think it will have good consequences, but there's no certainity it will turn out  the way you think it will. Often time and time again, this is what causes tragedies in every time travel plotline. I think this will certainly have some consequences, but I'm not sure how tragic it will be exactly. So Bong has already started to meddle with it, making that guy a enuch and everything... but let's see.

I have my bets on figuring it out by looking at what direction the writer goes with the Queen's father tomorrow. If he's dead, i will expect a bit tragic ending,. If he's alive, maybe a more lenient one. Besides I've come to believe it's every Kdrama writer's wet dream to seperate a couple when they're at their happiest.

If we get to episode 20, and one of our pair is dying in the other's arms, and says "If only * cough, cough * we had gone to bed sober together just once..." I'm going to hear all of your screams from my house. :evillaugh::tounge_wink:

Spoiler

that would be such a funny and tragic scene - (please take this in good humour)
So Bong *dying in CJ's arms* : "Cheoljong, promise me!"
CJ: "Jung jeon.." *teary-eyed mind all blank*
SB: ..."in the next life, you will always agree to eat ramyeon with me..."
CJ: *visibly confused* "...yae, jung jeon..."
SB:...."whenever I want to..."
CJ: ..."yae.."
SB:..."When you open your robes, you will not tease..."
CJ:..."yae.."
SB:..."you will take full responsibility..."

So, we'll have their "lust" spanning across lifetimes :joy:

@aisling we're so doomed, we're already inventing alternate versions LOL :joy:
