Same, I joined his Live IG too

And still wondering why I'm giggling while watching his IG

is it because I'm imagining he'S talking to meeee and we're listening music together from phone???

Or because I got no idea what he's talking about

It’s ok I’m just going to look at him :fullofhearts:

But still not sure what it is all about?

Is it a clue for Mr. Queen's ending????? :scream:

Update:

IG Junghyunique has translated it and also his caption.

He's just trying to comfort us...

And the message KJH posted is from a fan.

What a thoughtful actor he is.

Finally caught up to the latest episodes and I’m so going to miss this show. One of the best kdramas recently and I feel like kdramas in terms of quality and uniqueness haven’t really been up to par in a number of years now (the other recent one which is of 10/10 quality for me is Kingdom) so I’m so happy this show with its amazing leads existed.

As for the ending, I’m trusting the writers on this one cause they’ve had such a strong start. But as others said, there’s no real way to have a satisfactory ending for everyone, one person will have to miss out. SY did make the choice to kill herself or remove herself from the game...even if she came back to her original body, she’d still be stuck in same predicament, CJ fighting factions for power, CJ in love with someone else and not her (in love with SB/Chef). Even armed with the knowledge of Chef, I don’t think she’d know the necessary grit or steps to move forward.

However Chef still has body in the 21 century but even if he goes back, what does he really go back to? But if I was the writers that’s something I’d make Chef choose, in whether he wants to stay with his newfound family in the past or go back to his original time?

Regardless, we will all see what the last episodes bring us

Hmm....was surprised to see ep18...

Surprised to see how she could easily leave the palace;

why she was allowed to leave the palace at freezing temperature and camp in the forest..

Why she is treakking hundreds of KMs just to find the cliff...when she is Newly Pregnant...

With only her palace maids to help her... when we thought she would release the kings friends to help find the king....

Oh ya, the BI story is such a bore... sigh...

Im just shocked at the progress of the drama... sigh...

I have 6+ pages of posts to read to get caught up but I just finished watching ep 18 and wanted to share some thoughts then go back and read.

My takeaway was -  frustrating!

CJ and company weren't able to really capitalize on the gains they got after CJ revoked the regency. It lasted 5 mins and then their enemies regrouped fast and even got stronger bec the 2 rival clans teamed up against them.

Then the allies that he has aren't doing enough. Prince YP is  more concerned with perceived unfair treatment of HJ than his duties. He should have gone with CJ or at least followed in secret, or if he stayed, should've protected the queen instead of blaming her and threatening to kill h er...Granted him going there informed the queen that things are not what they seem, he could have been smart about it!  Not stormed in alone , brandishing his sword. Should have gone in secret and told her what's going on.

So then he gets thrown in jail and slated for execution.  How is he supposed to help CJ now?!!

No wonder CJ left them.

And Director Hong (?) who is usually up to date with the dangers and smarter than the others was caught flatfooted.  Why? and how? they should have been more alert and cautious since they knew CJ was headed straight into a trap...Wasn't he missing and declared dead by then? they should have already gone out looking for him!!!!!

Why is it the pregnant in the first trimester queen who has to literally go walking out into the countryside in the dead of winter to look for the queen along with 2 court ladies??!!! armed with only a bow and arrow he barely knows how to use!!!

Why didn't they use their resources? HJ was able to talk with the queen, why didn't they meet outside? get some horses and some escorts?? what abt the queen's dad? they could have used him somehow...

BH was going out alone!! he didn't even know where that cliff was!! Seriously?!!!

He didn't even bring a knife?!!! WHY?!!   that's what he's expert in! He could have stabbed BI with a handy chef's knife and filet that son of a !@#$#$!!

You can tell how truly frustrated I was from all the exclamation points I've used LOL!!

That's also my mom and my auntie's comments last night, after they watched last episode on TV. They completely yelled why the Queen did that stupid move, she's just a woman and she went with 2 women. The one who she will face is BI, and also all the soldier. She not know how to use arrow and bow right? And then they walk, but BI with his horse....

My mom and mother said that the queen is the one who make both of her maid in danger.

Let's see, our queen in her first trimester has:

1. Jumped down from a high wall. You know, the scene when they sneaked back into the palace after their secret night out to discuss military strategy and the whole jungchul jealous of kimhwan hijinks

2. Gone on a horseback ride for presumably quite a distance to get to the royal summer house or something

3. Jumped down from a high wall again before bumping into applauding HY and CL Choi and has plans to jump from an even higher Hanyang wall

Ok I get that sobong is clueless about pregnancy but this must be like a super fetus or something! I mean, for them to have time her fertility cycle correctly or when her pregnant symptom should start to show up, did they get another writer to write the first trimester timeline? Sorry this is the ahjumma in me speaking.

Anyway, I get that this is creative freedom, so I'm just going to ignore it and cross my fingers for more rom com or heart fluttering moment between the king and the queen and we will see the safe arrival of the baby PLEASE.

In webdrama, the queen also ever fallen from high rock, run from assassin, but not miscarriage, so that's why her maid said she has strong fetus. Nah maybe that's same with our Queen here, we will have strong Royal Prince...

I missed KJH's IG live today. My friend has sent me the screenshot.

Excited for upcoming OST with KJH's voice

I don’t think sobong will return to her body because she finally accepted her fate in joseon era. She embraced the life there with future royal baby and cheoljong. For me, they can finish the drama by SB choosing to stay inside SY’s body and accepting his/her fate to make a change for the history of joseon and his/her name. Hehehe

Kim Jung Hyun is comforting us not to be too depressed or sad when something beautiful comes to the end... ROFL I wonder what he refers to? :tounge_xd:

His favourite line is apparently “This too shall pass away” because he said it many times before?

Is it just me or he’s naked underneath that hoodie??? :dead:
