Han Hyo Joo 한효주 - [FIN: Happiness (2021) || NEXT: ThePirates: Goblin Flag (Jan 2022)]

Some of the choreographed stunt work is a bit less impactful in her scenes versus that of the men's but I think that might be on purpose? I think it really plays into showcasing that So Yin's talent/adversity comes from finding and using other items to use to her advantage. She's obviously a capable fighter but hand-to-hand combat isn't her strongest suit so we really see her shine in fight scenes that allow her to utilize her quick thinking similar to her first fight scene in that first episode when she uses the tie to help take her enemy down. We also saw something similar to this fight style in her Cold Eyes role, where she used her iPhone as a weapon in hand-to-hand combat.

The show is ok as of now and I think episode 1 is still its strongest episode. They went overboard on the soundbites for all the fight scenes lol.

Han Hyo Joo boasts flawless beauty despite long absence
by Kim Bo Ra | OSEN via Vlive

Actress Han Hyo Joo is arousing fans' interest as she has returned after a long absence.

On the afternoon of December 21, Han Hyo Joo attended the JTS street fundraising event held at the special stage Windy Hill near the Gangnam station area, Seoul. Aside from Han Hyo Joo, actors Han Ji Min, Yoon So Yi, Im Se Mi, etc. also attended the event to support the fundraising activity.

The reason why the public pays so much attention to Han Hyo Joo is that the actress hasn't appeared at an official event for 1 year and 5 months since the movie "Illang: The Wolf Brigade" (director: Kim Ji Woon) premiered in the summer of 2018.

Many audiences can misunderstand that Han Hyo Joo is temporarily suspending her activities, but she was cast for the American TV series "Treadstone" and has been present at the filming set since 2018 until now.

Han Hyo Joo once partook in the casting for the American TV series "Treadstone" in the second half of 2018. Afterward, the actress had learned English speaking skills throughout 2019 to prepare for this work.

According to her agency's explanation, Han Hyo Joo joined an action-scene training course after being cast in the aforementioned drama and tried her best during the process. They added that thanks to building up her physical strength through various exercises, Han Hyo Joo could pull off action scenes with great intensity.

After finishing the recording in the US, Han Hyo Joo is enjoying her break in Korea. At the same time, she is also learning about her next production and focusing on her studies.

Having still maintained her youthful appearance over time, Han Hyo Joo earned fans' high praise like "She's still so beautiful," "I hope she'll quickly star in a Korean film."

Wow. So, Hyo Joo has certainly been busy. In the first half of 2019 (yes, remember Treadstone?) it turns out she was also filming a Japanese spy movie, The Sun Doesn't Move. (Sorry, I don't know what official title it may have in English, that's the translation from the Naver articles in Korean.) She is already done filming and the movie will be released in 2020 in Japan. It's another action film and involves the use of foreign languages. Byun Yo Han (shown here) is also in it, so I guess she's not the only Korean in the film.

I was glad to see a definite confirmation (I figured it was a go, as the last two movies went on without any such announcement, but it's always nice to see the complete cast finalized). Great cast list, I'm really excited. SYJ had her share of action stunts in the first one; I assume that precedent, plus HJ's action history, means she will have a fun time filming and we will have a fun time watching. :) Go Hyo!

Yesss hoping BH entertainment will pull a Soop and include mostly their own actors. Though I did find it a bit ironic the reactions on twitter, saw a couple people not so excited about the remake but they also watched TWOTM like what...? Please, make it make sense.
