I see that people seem to say this a lot here and whilst I am not trying to say she didn’t have a crush on him as some of you think, I would also want to say that it seem more like they admired each other more than crushing on each other because when you crush on someone, you tend to get shy and blushy when around the  person and not assertive and super confident like how she was with JHI and this is probably because she felt he was like a friend whom she could easily flow with, just as she flowed with sunbae GY although he was much older and she was limited in how she teased and played with him.

 
Another male lead that she also probably liked a bit was PHJ, there was potential in that ship as she also allowed him hug her tightly and nuzzle her hair too like LMH did but something clearly happened and I don’t think they even remained friends after their drama. 

KGE is naturally shy, adorably fun and super cute in real life so it’s always easy for these guys to fall for her as she makes them super comfortable whilst being her unpretentious self which is an endearing quality any sensible man is always drawn to, and it is  evidenced in so many interviews from her friends and colleagues and past school mates, BUT she also knows that she draws people to her easily and that has made her severely guarded emotionally which is also probably because she is scared of crazy fans cos she mentioned that ‘fans are scary’ in one of her interviews for tune in to love, which means that she never really entertained the thought of real life romance with her male leads hence why we hear she friend-zones them.

 

She also didn’t come to TKEM to crush on or fall for LMH even though she was a fan of Kim tan, she showed us through the BTS that she only welcomed the regular work friendship with him as she did with others, how far their friendship was to go was dependent on how comfortable they would end up being together for the sake of their work, but we saw here feelings started to naturally grow starting from LMH side and she began to get shy and blushy too which we rarely see from her in the past, he clearly made a move and she obviously rebuffed him and he then intentionally persisted and even made it more obvious till it even spilled from off screen to on screen. 
 

Now my point is that KGE , wouldn’t have DEVELOPED romantic feelings for LMH if he didn’t persist as hard as he did, she may have liked him as we can like as many guys as we all want too, but feelings developing and growing to Into loving someone deeply takes nurturing which is what our captain did and he is still to doing it with all the ‘romantic BGM at has river’ which is why many of us admire and respect him so much more now. 
 

If JHI liked her and she liked him and he asked her out, she would on default say No but however say ‘let’s be friends’ and she then follows him on IG and he follows her back to prove their friendship has commenced, but he doesn’t even know that he is meant to actually pursue her harder given their status and prove to her that he really does like her so much and can’t imagine his world without her and will stand for her in the face of scary fans and an industry that may frustrate their romance. That assurance is what matured women look for before taking the big leap of faith to commit to someone. 

I also don’t think JHI and SYJ were a thing at all after their romance drama something in the rain as I have seen him being excessively respectful towards her at two award  shows that makes me know that she is certainly a ‘Noona’ to him more than a crush or a love interest. 
 

Also, JHI started real his career a bit late and has a lots of grounds to cover as an artist and dating any woman who is ready for marriage may be almost impossible for him so if he asks them out, I doubt they will even say yes to his proposal even if they crush on his cuteness. 
 

KGE took the bold step of accepting LMH heart in the face of scary fans because she was convinced of the depth of his feelings for her and his willingness to protect her in every way he can, also as she is gradually being assured of a solid future in their relationship, she will naturally grow more and more in love and committed to him, our captain seems to know this, that’s why he is working so hard like never before to prove his sincerity, this is also why I feel they are not officially announcing yet to the world. 
 

All the sudden talks of marriage and having a child from LMH is a way to put it out there that he is in a way ready so long as he find ‘the one’ so no one thinks he is one of those actors who doesn’t plan  to settle down into marriage because of their career.

We can launch fakeships but honestly i don't think jhi is a strong candidate...no threat to lmh at all..and i cant understand ppl shipping him w syj either..i think he is more shippable w his latest FL..because he is too nice guy and a lil too timid for a guy. That is the vibe i got fr him.

 

Maybe u wanna use phj since he openly declared her to be her ideal type hahaha..eventhough he doesn't appeal to me

I have to add. I know that LMH is the captain of our ship and clearly it started out as one-sided, but I think we sometimes underestimate just how strong KGE's feelings are for him NOW. Based on everything she has been through with crazy fans, we are underestimating how much courage it takes for KGE to be involved with someone like LMH. This is also in the context of her still being "young" in her career. Yes, she's been around for 8 years, but that is very little compared to most other "serious" actresses. Everyone has pegged her as someone with potential to be the next Jeon Do Yeon / legendary Chungmuro star. I can only imagine the pressure that comes with that. This is also in the context that she already has had some "scandals" in the past - with BYH releasing their text conversation, her dating SHK who was 17 years older and then rumors between her and GY that got so big that her agency had to actually respond. Can you imagine the risk to her career to be yet again involved with someone, and this time, someone like LMH? I would be RickRoll'D my pants about my career if I were her.

 

And yet here we are. I HAVE to believe that both are madly in love with each other. I don't think we would have received the bread we received on her birthday if that was NOT the case.

For saying this because i still see people saying she is still not there yet, lmh still need to do more before she say yes etc just because we didn't get to see much responses from her end but i also believe she has already opened her heart to him and that they are together in this. We just didn't get to see it because she won't be showing it from her end and its just great lmh is the one showing it. That is a way of protecting her.. i also can understand why she would not be showing it as much to us the public but i believe it will be different out of public eyes. She has said before in her interviews, i can't remember her exact words but basically she only wants to show her fans and the public her work and not about her personal life. 

But from her IG posts and the later part of the BTS and also judging from LMH actions we can safely say she is there already otherwise LMH will not be able to show us what he has thus far.

Thanks.. and oh yes she decided to have courage as she clearly eventually fell for him too and saw that he is worth the risk, but I still believe she was assured that being with him was worth the risk. 
I don’t know why Koreans call celebrities dating ‘scandals’ and her dating someone 17 years older who is very single means nothing as they shared common interests which I feel is more important than the age, also the text messages released by BYH isn’t even enough to substantiate anything to the point of it being a scandal or a confirmed relationship and as I said that means nothing. 

I understand that entertainment industry has pegged her to be the next Jeon do yeon, but is that what she wants for herself? KGE just wants to be an actress the public can trust to deliver her roles, and above all she deeply yearns for her own family as she wants to wake up daily and care for them and  she never fails to mention marriage in her interviews plus loving and supportive family that seems to be more important to her.
Whilst she may want to advance her career it doesn’t seem to be something she feels she cant do away with to establish what’s more important to her, she said it herself during the swoon games that she can walk away from it and our uri captain was shocked. 

So I believe her courage is coming from the assurance that her hopes and dreams can be fulfilled in this relationship hence why it’s easy to take the risk, moreso she is taking a risk with a man who he proved himself more than others despite him being a hallyu star.

Actually her dress isn’t a Chanel design, maybe her stylist sourced it from a SK designer as the name wasn’t mentioned, she only became one of the Chanel SK ambassadors in 2019. 

 

The dress is however subtle and sexy and accentuate her delicate curves which were clearly obvious for him to see and admire at the time, but for his imagination to roam... naah, if it did he would have stared a lot harder but he didn’t, He also doesn’t seem to be that kind of guy when in a committed relationship.

I think this is about so many videos being made about them and being fed in twitter and instagram yesterday. I noticed it too.
 

i browse these socmed via a simple hashtag #kimgoeun. Its less toxic and less OIM exposure i guess. I just let it take me to whatever topic about kimgoeun and then i get LMH topics eventually.  From my perspective, my feeds should reflect my friends and my preferences, since i use my personal twitter and instagram acct. *i am so lazy or just late to create a finsta and fanbased twitter hahahah!too exposed but the good effect was I dont get topics from posts that just escalate toxic emotions! So what i noticed on algorithm of the feeds of my accts are goblin, *bulk of it is this and due to the fact i click on it too, then JHI/tuneinforlove,a hint of CITT, hersingingprowess, beingstylish. These are the topics i read that completely has no other hashtags other than her name. 
 

So when i saw the forum and mirrored my feeds, i thought the algorithm of my feed was based on my previous personal preferences. I guess not! Because i did not click anything about JHI. Hahahah. The conspiracy of feeds. Hahahah!

He was a fan and I’ll leave it at that. 

That’s more realistic, that he has been her long time fan. He even mentioned on one of his interviews that he was thrilled (more like star struck) with their first shoot, he felt like the actor, who he only saw in movies, came out of the screen, something to that effect. I don’t think it was love at first sight for them, i would say it’s more like love at beheading kiss or earlier but during TKEM.
