btw, speaking from a healthcare worker point of view, to deal with withdrawal syndrome (in regards to the use of medication) is to reduce the dose gradually, not abruptly. 

so maybe one can use this approach to deal with withdrawal syndrome of tkem  just don't stop to see/hear/feel anything about it in instance, reduce the attachment gradually so it will be less painful

(I may delete this post later cos of its relevance to the thread) I have been reading all the posts and refraining myself to post anything, cos just in case I will come to regret what say I say at the heat of the moment. 
 

I am so glad this thread has gone back to it’s positive and uplifting mood once again.   I always feel that there are 2 sides to any interpretation of an issue, a photo or a video because of our own experiences. So let’s open our hearts and minds (very difficult, I know) as long as the person is reasonable and not a troll? ( I will call out any troll or people trying to stir up trouble cos some of you ladies are just too nice.)

I used to ship an OTP from Taiwan and we are all certain something was brewing because they actually went out on dates and they were mutually fond of each other. But due to intense scrutiny, somehow their relationship just did not move further. Many years down the road, both are happily married to others but remained as very good friends...and now, I am still so happy when I see that they are happy. 
 

So I say ship away and believe in our own heart and minds. We could never predict what would happen.

After waiting patiently since Ep. 16 aired on Friday,  I have searched around here (I just found you gang of loons last Thursday and have enthusiastically joined) and all over Youtube for someone else to catch on to the ending besides yours truly.

 

Everyone has spent the duration of this drama, mentioning how you have to pay attention to every piece of dialogue, in order to not miss anything. (It is one of the things that makes this drama's re-watch factor really high) Did y'all really think the writer was going to stop doing this on the last episode? No booboo!

 

Some watchers have said that they are sad it ended without them getting married ever or her becoming Queen. That is incorrect. 

*Insert Maury level, "You are NOT the father!" applause and gasps*

Let's roll it back to Ep.1: Do y'all remember when Head Court Lady Noh was placing the talismans in Lee Gon's bedroom? Yes? Well, what did she say? "It is the King's duty to produce an heir..." hence the talismans, to lure hisself a lady.

Forward to Ep.2: *Tae Eul is looking through Gon's belongings and grabs his wallet* In his wallet is a talisman he missed, being held by the woman who is going to fulfill the talisman's purpose. She asks him what it is, Gon answers "Think of it as the Head Court Lady's concern over the Royal Ancestral Shrine." *Gon smirks*

On to Ep. 10: *Tae Eul brings Yeong food, they have a conversation* Yeong asks her if she plans on traveling back and forth between worlds when everything is over and tells her that Gon is a King and should only be with someone who will be his Queen.  

Forward to Ep. 16: *Tae Eul is hiding in the Tony Stark mask of beautification.* Lee Gon says to Lady Noh, "Your talisman must've worked. I'm her letting her use my personal item. You should know what that means." (aka, I am gonna wife this FINEass woman right here)
Lady Noh responds, " I have been wondering when the Royal Ancestral Shrine will be completed. Will it be completed next year?"

*Gon smiles*

Thus, my precious colleagues, ROYAL ANCESTRAL SHRINE is code for little Lee Gon's and little Tae Eul's and obviously her becoming Queen before that. Lady Noh hints at a timeline of a year. So they will get married within a year and have a child within that time-frame too. How is that not a happy ending?? 

Others were saying, how can she become Queen, when Luna is in that world too? Lee Gon did not give a single DAMN about it when he announced Tae Eul to be his Queen the first time, why would he care a second time? Also remember, the flute has been used by his ancestors, it is commonplace for them to move between worlds, how did Lady Noh end up there? Through Lee Gon's grandpa... 
Moreover, Tae Eul HAS to become Queen, I thought the writer made that VERY clear and the last episode made it even clearer that she would be free to go back and forth between worlds, if she wished to do so. When she and Gon were parting at the obelisks after going to the palace, Tae Eul says that she does not want to leave. I took that to mean that eventually she will choose to stay with him longer, in other words, marry him and only go to her own world on the weekends.

 

Their last words in the drama, were essentially, that their life together is going to be weird because their fate is special, but they will take it a day at a time because their love is forever. In conclusion, Lee Gon and Tae Eul do get married and have little princes and/or princesses, it is just discussed as an event in the near future. Honestly, I have seen maybe two dramas in 7 years, where the characters are shown actually married and maybe one where they show them with kiddos and everything. Maybe it is just me, but it is quite rare when they tie the story up with a bow neatly. I almost never expect it in K-dramas, even less so in J-Dramas. 

Sorry for the thesis, but I HAD to mention that Royal Ancestral Shrine thing because no one seemed to notice it. Back to the ship!

@YaMomsChestHair! I agree with you. There have been many hints there would be a marriage later on and heir. I think people are just upset they never show the marriage. This had been discussed in the TKEM main thread but I almost forgot not all the ladies here came from there so I'm glad you brought up the topic again to reassure some of the ladies here.

Hiii, I finished catching up to the last page of thread. I’m actually the one who believed this ship until the end (even after last ep BTS). But here is for some analysis: I guess LMH likes to pat a girl in the first place (my male friend did this too to me, even tho he already had a girlfriend) . but with KGE, it’s not just a pat! You can see the difference. He’s way softer toward KGE. So conclusion? I still believe in this ship. I hope everybody does too, well at least until one of them is reported dating with someone else. But I’m glad that people here is also shipping responsibly, based on the video that we see. Even tho that means inviting some doubts and making some of us (including me) feels angsty, the analysis is very thorough, and well-thought. But here again, we’re here shipping for someone because we have a faith in them right? So let’s have a faith until the very end.

Me being an unlurker now to give this opinions based on what i saw on ep 16 bts.

Clearly i've been being denial for almost 1-15 eps. Yes. Yes. I do love their chemistry. But couldn't help to think that they're being close boz of their fit personality. And i am just a logical person. Never do shipper.

But. But. But. After watching the last bts. It hits me so hard through my heart and soul. I come to think, yes there is something ! Yes there is 'this feeling' towards them.

Here my conclusion for what i've seen.

Lmh constantly giving her those pats after bts on ep 15.

I have to tell you this, i've had some guy friends. They personally give me 'brothers' vibe. But they never pat me just like that. A brother would pat me in a more harsh way. And i know some guys who have interested in me. Yes they pat me the way lmh pats ms. Sunshine, the softness pats on her head and her shoulder. And my ex too would pats me when i was sad or being emotional. I watched several lmh bts from his other dramas. He never did this to his co star. Those softness pat on head, the flowers+minomi doll, and still worried about ms. Sunshine crying baby.

I remember when we actively asked about how we can't find lmh and kge moments in their last shoot. Those fancams literally showed us that kge was crying but why lmh didn't catch or comfort her. Now we have the answer tho, he catched and comforted her and asked her twice "why are you crying?" Instead of "don't cry". Yes i agree when some of you said it's kinda weird, boz i said "don't cry" to my friends when i was about to say goodbye. "Why are you crying?" is the indicates they will meet each other again, right?  well i found it lmh trying to be a good bf to his gf, boz he kept coming for her in that moment.

And for kge, yes ofcourse we all knew she is actually sensitive. In her prev interviews or presscon, i found she often crying boz of she's being overwhelmed for something. During canola premiere she also cried boz she remember her grandma. 

Let's not forget about their car, which parked in T form. Whilst lmh gave his queen the way first, then he followed after. Wht's the deal ? If you are just being friends why you gave her that manner ? Why ? Why ? 

Okay now the giddyness. They're still the same. Giddy with shy shy flirting towards each other. Even more obvious in the last bts.

The kiss ! Yes. Why do i fell it's so real. Being professional ofc they're top actor/actress, but for me who won't watch every kissing scenes in kdrama, i found this very sweet, real, and tender. I know lmh is a great kisser. But i always skip the kissing part in his prev drama. It's too much for me, i felt the akwardness. But this time already watched all the kissing scenes around 60 times. I love how they deepen everytime they kissed. My heart beats faster everytime i watch it.

 

So from you can not be touchy become you can touch me anywhere and i also being touchy with you too. This two are giving me the other love story despite their drama. Yes lmh and kge love story from the one who i adore very much become the girl who i care very much.

Actually there's many more i want to share, pics, gifs, videos or whatever that made me came across the universe to found this forum. To bringback all your positives about our couple. You know, this came from a person who never do shipper and never bother about actor/actress relationship. And from logical person like me. But from what i see, my theories, my logic, my heart tell me despite they're dating or not, boz i'm not God. It's not my decision. If they meant for each other, they will be together. But as a human that ever shared love. All i can tell is yes there are feelings between them, whether love or caring or even admiration.

No one can convince me other way, the king, the queen, and their agencies still remain silence afterall. They don't confirm yet, there's no way they don't know about this couple hype. It's all over the world. There are millions micro gestures and expressions that coming from social media just to know lmh and kge behave towards each other.

 

Just wanna ask this question to you guys, if they confirm that they're dating (obv i will screaming) is it possible/allowed that they will come together in the award events?

Impossible LMH and KGE even their agencies are not aware of all the speculations and hype surrounding their artists...those slow mo videos and snipets of BTS and comments tagging their personal IGs..how can they not know? Lol..the fact that none of them come out to clear the air in fact help to blow the fire stronger with comments and pics etc..it could be that they dun wana steal the lime light from the drama while it is still airing..so i think what happens after this is crucial...like one of you comented LMH knew or pre-empted some negative reactions from the public by updating his IG yesterday before the release of ep16 BTS shows something..best wishes to the couple..i seriously think their relationship is beautiful up to this point and they are made for each other..meeting the right people at the right time is all u need to take the leap of faith..

 

On a side note, i feel that LMH is someone who likes to joke around and may appear to be like carefree and just goofing around..but deep down inside i can sense that he cares alot especially to people matters to him most..this can be observed in his little subtle gestures and just thing he does..these are just female instincts..we know it when a guy is interested is us..even eyes sparkle when they look at us..those who experienced it before will know it..lol..if we feel the same..we will try to come up with thousands of reasons or excuses to convince ourselves is that true that he likes me too so that we wont be disappointed if it ended up the wrong way...haha...it feels that way now in the thread when differing opinions are expressed..just how i see it..no offence to anyone..

 

LMH also appeared to be more manly after his military service as compared to the heir time..appearance wise that is..lol..one thing i noticed he was more rough with his co star during the heir time..not gentle at all..like strictly being professional in acting scene..just my feel comparing the BTS of the 2 dramas..
