Hi all!

 

Decide to delurk and join the fun at this forum. i have been having fun reading all your comments and I started when the page count was around 100, read the most recent comment, and backtrack to the start. I was kind of a KGE fan, and only like LMH in a basic way (lol ie his looks), but since i start watching TKEM, i am hooked to the reel relationship that they had. This started at the first iconic scene for me at ep 4, horseback ride, where they stare intensely into each others' eyes.

 

 

 

 

This scene has such a visceral impact on me that I am an obsessed LG/JTE shipper from there.

 

Then I went into deeper waters when I saw the BTS. This is the first time for me to bother going to watch the BTS. Usually I just watch the drama, and that was it. But the chemistry of these 2 actors is so intense that I want to see more of them. Leading me to gasp at their REAL life interactions.

 

I think the reason why this pairing capture us so much is that it is like a real-life romance story that is happening right in front of our eyes. I bet most of us here enjoy the romance genre a lot, and this seems like it come out straight from a romance novel! Heehee

 

Anyway, I just want to say, thank you to you all for your insights into LMH and KGE, and giving more depth to their captured interactions. And i enjoy the delulu interactions too....heehee

Yes, I personally feel it was to show JTE's character at the start as well.

Exactly!! All the dramas are getting photoshoot and interviews done except our show. It's time we should take this seriously and bombard swoon with MinEun comments on their post asking them for MinEun interview. Idk whom to ask for photoshoot though.

Hello evryone, i've been read all your thoughts about our couple from page 1 And i am amazed how mature you are guys as a shippers.

I want to share my opinion also about this story and absolutely this lovely couple.

 

Firstly, i'm not a fan of kim go eun nor lee min ho. I'm just a kdrama fan. I watched their dramas such as the heirs and goblin but that's it. I watch a drama not bcs of the actor/actress but the plot.

I'm not into fantasy genre for a drama. But in goblin i love their comedies and yes absolutely, i love their acting.

I'm not also into a cheesy romantic drama. But in the heirs, i love the story of each characters in it.

 

Then i heard about kge being introduced as the leading lady for lmh drama comeback. I'm super excited waiting for this. Sadly, public looks unhappy to this pairing. I didn't surprise after all, since kge got a lot of hates bcs of her appearance which i can't understand. To me, she's really beautiful.

 

I'm falling in love to this drama from the first episode(this is my first time watching an on-going kdrama). It contains comedy, romance but not too much which i like it so much, somehow we have to focus to the story and theories as well. If you guys have ever watched christoper nolan's, martin scorscese's or time travel movies, such as memento, predestination, interstellar, butterfly effects and many more. It's a little bit confusing, frustrating for us to find the who, what, where or how. But that's the excitement. We barely have discussion room for it. And for the king, i found it gives the same vibes. It has a back and forth plot and ofc puzzles. Now i know why it's a global hit. Even, Anna Todd, a new york best seller writer praised their work.

 

I agree this story is not ppl cup of tea. I believe KES, director, and all of the casts know the consequencies that this story is different, complicated, got critisized bcs of the originality, complicated plot, and difficult explanation.

 

During their interview, lmh and kge also told us, it is a complicated story, ppl might be confused. But if you really follow the whole story, it gets better and better in each episodes.

I can't understand why people keep dragging things down to this drama, whilst it got praised internationally, and trending in worldwide, naver, youtube and twitter. There are news and articles about TKEM, whether it's positive or negative. TKEM always be the highlight. How come ?

 

Now i wanna tell you guys, i don't do shippers. But this couple already bring me here. I love them. I love their interactions on/off screen. Their hugs, kisses, holding hands, even they're just staring each other eyes, they always make me so soft. Their sweetness, shyness, and laughing in bts, presscon, interview also made me smile. I dunno if i'm hyper over this couple. But their chemistry is out of league. I'm saying it. They're affect me. Yes i also watched bts of other co stars also. But this ship is different, i can't explain anymore. You guys, had a better explanation for this two.

 

And still, i can't understand if the king is a flop, why other shipppers of lmh/kge in the past, got triggered and bring back all those memories of their dramas. Like they're jealous that our couple could give us such a great chemistry. Okay, i'm just gonna stop this.

 

Now, i'm a fan of kge and lmh. Kidding. In fact, i'm a fan of all the casts in TKEM!

Welcome welcome chinggu! Glad to have you join us here. I totally get you. I've quit shipping after my last ship because the heartache is too much to bear but then there's really something about this couple that makes you delurk / reactivate/ create an account and go back to shipping land because the connection is too strong. You're not the only one, we're here to keep you company!!

Agree with you chinggu! I'm also trying to keep myself calm at this moment until nothing is confirmed.  After all, last Saturday was supposed to be their last episode date so it's really expected that they go on a reward trip. Seems like it's a staff reward trip for TKEM. They deserve it for sure! And if they are there, let's give them the time and privacy they deserve. 

 

(or maybe they were actually in a certain place with minomi and choco watching a certain episode of the king.. hahaha just my delulu thoughts)

Welcome to the thread!! I can actually say the same for myself. I  think I really liked their chemistry the first time they hugged in Gwangham but this scene, the one where they ride off to KOC in a horse and stare deeply into each other's eyes sealed the deal for me. There was something sizzling in that scene that sold me to their pairing. And then the BTS of this particular episode was the birth of Mr.Giddy and the rest is history
