Jun Ji Hyun is preparing to make her long-awaited return with a new drama!

On March 3, an industry representative reported that the actress will be leading the new drama “Mount Jiri” (working title) by writer Kim Eun Hee.

In response to the reports, her agency Culture Depot commented, “Jun Ji Hyun is positively considering the offer to star in writer Kim Eun Hee’s new project ‘Mount Jiri.'”

As revealed in the working title, the upcoming drama by Kim Eun Hee is set on Mount Jiri. The writer has previously created dramas including “Sign,” “Ghost,” “Three Days,” “Signal,” and the “Kingdom” series.

 I saw Jeon Ji Hyun in two movies (Il Mare & assasination) and one drama (The Legend of the Blue Sea) and I like her a lot. I am watching this drama because of the writer/ plot but the casting is very good. I also love that the female character is a ranger. The nature, the strong female lead, unusual job for a woman in kdramas, the human aspect of the drama with lots of emotional cases makes me be really excited to watch this drama.

 

I don`t really care who will be the male lead (maybe a little curious). I know the casting will be good. The male lead and suporting characters. I trust the casting director.

If you liked her in Legend of the blue Sea...I think you'll love her in My Love From Another Star. 

I'm curious as well who her leading man will be...or if she will have a leading man. This could be a story about the struggles of a park ranger.

 The drama was passable but I like Jeon Ji hyun. I heard about My Love from Another Star. Maybe I will watch someday.

 

The heroine is at the central of the story but, knowing kdramaland, it will definitely be a male lead. Let see who they will choose. I know that they will find a suitable costar. But I wonder if they will choose known actors/guessed stars for the supporting cast as there will be a few cases to be resolved each week.

I discovered JJH for the first time through My Sassy Girl. Then i watched The Thieves and My Girl From Another Star (totally in love with Cheon Song Yi). I always have that "exclusive and wealthy A-list star" image about her in mind  And nothing's happier for me more than hearing that my ultimate bias Park Seojun will join her in the drama. Hopefully it turns out to be true and not just a rumor. The storyline and main characters' occupation sound interesting and new to me.

Maybe he is in later stage of negotiation. Sometimes it happends when an actor is confirmed but they won`t release an official confirmation right away. There are times when they change their mind about a cast member even if he signed already. Some actors can step down of the role in the last minute. There are many situations. Yeah, it is better to keep your expectation law in case you don`t want to be disappointed but I have a strong feeling that he will want to appear in this drama.

I like the cast but I will watch no matter what because I am looking for the writer`s next work.

On April 17, an industry representative reported that Joo Ji Hoon will be starring in the new drama “Mount Jiri” (working title).

In response to the reports, his agency KeyEast Entertainment shared that he received the offer but nothing has been confirmed yet. “Joo Ji Hoon has previously scheduled activities, so it does not seem possible for him to film this year. For such reasons, the production team has just checked Joo Ji Hoon’s schedule for now,” the agency explained.

It was revealed last month that Jun Ji Hyun received an offer to play the female lead, and it was later confirmed that she will be playing the role.

The drama will tell the story of Mount Jiri National Park rangers. Joo Ji Hoon has received the offer to play Kang Hyun Jo, a new park ranger who meets Seo Yi Kang (Jun Ji Hyun).
