3 Reasons To Dive Into The Romantic Reality Show “Heart Signal 3”

 

Spring is the season of new beginnings and falling in love, and “Heart Signal 3” has arrived along with the season! “Heart Signal” is a romance variety series from Channel A in which eight strangers live together for a month in the same house. Their time together is watched over by a group of panelists with varying experiences in dating and love. This season, Yoon Shi Yoon, Block B’s P.O, and Han Hye Jin will be joining some of the panelists from previous seasons including Lee Sang Min, lyricist Kim Ea Na, and psychiatrist Yang Jae Woong.

A Real Life K-Drama

There is no reality show more real and no drama more dramatic than “Heart Signal.” Eight strangers come together and get to know each other for the first time, just as the audience does. They spend time together not just by going on dates, but also by simply sharing their daily lives with each other through ways such as cooking dinner or going grocery shopping. “Heart Signal” gives us a slight glimpse into a very real and raw form of how love works in the real world. There are K-drama cliches here and there and just enough suspense while finding out who likes who. Season 2’s biggest K-drama moment was definitely the love triangle between Oh Young Joo, Im Hyun Ju, and Kim Hyun Woo, and it had viewers on their toes until the last episode!

 

 

Diverse and Stunning Cast

A surprising part of the program is that the cast members are all ordinary people from all sorts of different backgrounds. Although they could be mistaken as celebrities due to their looks, the cast varies from doctors, lawyers, and businesswomen to car racers, students, and chefs. Their beauty and charming personalities have viewers choosing biases throughout each season!

The cast members enter the program as strangers, but their relationships often extend beyond the show once it ends. The casts continue to display their lasting friendships, still regularly hanging out and making appearances at each other’s events or interacting on social media. Some also maintain friendships with the celebrity panelists, as well! Bae Yun Gyeong hangs out with panelists Shim So Youngand Kim Ea Na, and Seo Joo Won shared in an interview that Super Junior’s Shindong and Kim Ea Na were the ones who introduced him to his current wife after the show!

“Heart Signal 3” Tops Buzzworthy Non-Drama TV Show Rankings For 2nd Consecutive Week

 

On April 8, Good Data Corporation shared its rankings of non-drama TV shows and cast members that generated the most buzz from March 30 to April 5.

 

The company analyzed news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media posts for 182 non-drama TV shows that are either currently airing or set to air soon.

 

In first place for the second week in a row as the most buzzworthy non-drama TV show was Channel A’s “Heart Signal 3”! Cast members Park Ji Hyun, Cheon In Woo, Seo Min Jae, and Im Han Gyeol also swept the rankings for non-drama cast members, taking the No. 2, No. 3, No. 5, and No. 9 spots respectively.

 

“Heart Signal 3” is a romance variety show that follows the stories of eight strangers as they live together in the same house for a month. All of their experiences are observed by a group of panelists. This group is made up of Yoon Shi Yoon, Block B’s P.O, and Han Hye Jin, who join panelists from the previous seasons including Lee Sang Min, lyricist Kim Ea Na, and psychiatrist Yang Jae Woong.

 

In the third episode which is set to air at 9:50 p.m. KST on April 8, viewers will find out contestant Jung Eui Dong’s style of love! The episode will feature his quest to display his kindness through good deeds such as cleaning the Signal House and preparing dinner for the other contestants.

 

Following behind “Heart Signal 3,” season three of tvN’s game show “The Great Escape” took second place, while MBC’s “Radio Star” rose to the No. 3 spot in the buzzworthy non-drama TV show rankings. Im Young Woong, winner of the popular show “Mister Trot,” took the No. 1 spot in the non-drama cast members ranking for his appearance on “Radio Star.” Additionally, he also ranked No. 4 on the same list for his appearance on TV Chosun’s “Love Call Center” (literal title).
