Yoon Shi Yoon Must Travel Across Parallel Universes To Solve A Mystery In OCN Sci-Fi Thriller “Train”

In a newly released special poster for the upcoming drama, Seo Do Won faces off against his parallel-universe self in an intense standoff in the rain. In one universe, Seo Do Won jumps back and forth between parallel universes in the hopes of paying for his father’s sins, while in the other, he leads a precarious life due to those sins.

 

Notably, the first Seo Do Won, who is dressed more casually, tilts his head slightly as he stares at his alternate-universe counterpart. Meanwhile, the second Seo Do Won sports a formal suit and perfectly straight posture, hinting at the personality differences between the two characters. The differing color tones of the two halves of the poster, which are divided by a railroad track that stretches out into infinity, also emphasize the contrast between their two worlds.

The producers of “Train” praised Yoon Shi Yoon’s acting, commenting, “Yoon Shi Yoon has been flawlessly bringing the two different Seo Do Wons, two characters who are complete polar opposites, to life.”

 

They went on to add, “The drama will tell an unpredictable story that is entirely different from any parallel-universe story you’ve encountered up until now. Please look forward to ‘Train,’ a mystery that will jump back and forth between parallel universes.”

A new video teaser has been released for OCN’s new fantasy mystery Train, featuring lead actor Yoon Shi-yoon (Psychopath Diary).

The story is centered around a serial murder case and an incident that took place one fateful night. A crucial decision was made in that moment and it creates a crossroads between two parallel worlds as a consequence.

Yoon Shi-yoon stars in the drama as police officer Seo Do-won, who is a team lead in the violent crimes unit. Hardworking and dedicated to his job, he puts his whole self into capturing criminals. He does his best to do good deeds and make up for the crimes committed by his father. In the parallel reality, however, he discovers a different version of himself. Although still a police officer, his alternate has chosen a life of corruption and danger due to his father’s crimes.

OCN’s upcoming drama “Train” has released a new poster and stills of Yoon Shi Yoon!

Described as a “parallel-universe mystery drama,” “Train” is a sci-fi thriller about a single choice made on the night of a murder that splits the world into two alternate universes. Yoon Shi Yoon will star as Seo Do Won, a high-ranking detective who gets involved in a serial killer case in an attempt to protect the woman he loves. In universe “A,” Seo Do Won lives to atone for his father’s sins while in universe “B,” he lives a dangerous life of corruption through those same sins.

In the newly released poster, Yoon Shi Yoon and Kyung Soo Jin are in caught in motion between two universes. The poster reads, “One railroad, two crossed worlds.” Kyung Soo Jin will also be taking on dual roles in the drama, starring as Han Seo Kyung, an honest prosecutor who isn’t shy about expressing her emotions, and a cold, emotionless detective who is completely different from her doppelganger in every way.

Here’s two main posters for upcoming OCN drama series “Train” starring Yoon Si-Yoon and Kyung Soo-Jin. The posters emphasizes the parallel worlds in which the story takes place. Caption on the posters states in Korean “One railroad … Crosses into two worlds.” Meanwhile, a fourth teaser trailer, this time featuring Kyung Soo-Jin has been added on AsianWiki.

“Train” is now set for release July 11, 2020 in South Korea.
