Watch: Yoon Shi Yoon Meets His Parallel-Universe Self In New Teaser For Sci-Fi Thriller “Train”

OCN’s upcoming drama “Train” has released an intriguing new teaser!

 

Described as a “parallel-universe mystery drama,” “Train” is a sci-fi thriller about a single choice that splits the world into two alternate universes. Yoon Shi Yoon will star as Seo Do Won, a detective who gets involved in a serial killer case in an attempt to protect the woman he loves.

 

The visually striking new teaser begins by introducing viewers to two parallel universes in split screen, depicting the same location in two very different hues and color palettes. Yoon Shi Yoon can be seen walking along train tracks in both universes, and the two images spin in opposite directions until they align to form one train track.

 

Just as the two different Yoon Shi Yoons appear to merge, the actor says in voice-over, “Through one line, two worlds become misaligned.” As if emphasizing the statement, the same words then become dramatically misaligned on screen.

The clip ends with the haunting image of two different Yoon Shi Yoons from two different universes: although they are the same person, the two men are noticeably dressed very differently, and the looks in each of their eyes are as different as the warm- and cool-toned palettes in which they are presented.

 

“Train” is set to premiere sometime in July and will be available with English subtitles on Viki. In the meantime, check out the new teaser below!

OCN’s upcoming drama “Train” has unveiled its first poster!

Described as a “parallel-universe mystery drama,” “Train” is a sci-fi thriller about a single choice made on the night of a murder that splits the world into two alternate universes. Yoon Shi Yoon will star as Seo Do Won, a detective who gets involved in a serial killer case in an attempt to protect the woman he loves.

In the newly released teaser poster for the upcoming drama, Yoon Shi Yoon and Kyung Soo Jin stand on a railroad track as they gaze off together at something in the distance. The first two teaser clips for “Train” likened the drama’s two universes to two railroad tracks that diverge and converge—and the dramatic, black-and-white poster brings that same metaphor to life with an ominous sense of foreboding.

The producers of “Train” commented, “We wanted to capture the mysteriousness of a never-ending track in the teaser poster for ‘Train.’ Please look forward to finding out what kind of suspenseful incident Yoon Shi Yoon and Kyung Soo Jin are looking at [in the poster], in these two worlds that have been divided by a moment’s choice.”

Casting news:

Actor Kim Dong Young will appear in the new OCN original 'Train'.

Kim Jin-woo, played by Kim Dong Young, is a detective of the 3 violent crime teams, where Do Won (Yoon Shi Yoon) is the team leader. More than a team leader, Jin-woo follows Do-won, who caught and led him as a child. Kim Dong Young will show a completely different charm from his recent work "Great Show" and "Revenge is Back."

Character teaser trailer added for OCN drama series “Train” starring Yoon Si-Yoon, Kyung Soo-Jin, and Shin So-Yul. The character teaser trailer is of Yoon Si-Yoon as Seo Do-Won and his other character. The teaser starts off with Yoon Si-Yoon whispering “There is another me in the world.” Caption around the 23 second mark states “Police who chose to live for atonement.” and “Police who chose the path of depravity.”

“Train” first airs July, 2020 in South Korea.
