Apparently KSH is providing financial help to his father, half-sister, and the mother who gave birth to his half-sister as well.

I am surprised if he really does that because his dad left him and his Mom to fend for themselves ever since he was tiny. Few years back when the half sister's side announced that she is his half sister during her song debut and many reports said that they were closed and lived together, his agency released an official statement to debunked their closeness. Also he claimed to be an only child out of consideration to his Mom. He is a Mama Boy and if he is supporting the so called father and his woman plus progeny/ies, I am sure it will hurt the Mom more.....But if it is true, than his Mom is an angel to allowed him to to that....

I just found out that the person who did the cartoon/ animation in “Encounter” (Park BoGum and Song HyeKyo kdrama) is the same person who did the cartoon/animation for this drama. Director of this drama is the same with Encounter btw.

I saw an interesting tweet about the kiss scene :)

Haha! What you guys think?

I'm having IONTBO withdrawals right now and hoping for them to release a DVD will surely buy it :)

That's her lower lip, but there's definite tongue action when she's laying with her head down and it seems to be initiated by SYJ..

Oh God, this latest BTS kills me, LOL.

I LOVE KIM SOO-HYUN ACTING LIKE AN OPERA SINGER!!!! Aaaaaaahhhh

I know he did sing songs in the past for his previous dramas but he really needs to perform as an opera singer in a movie. Seriously.

I'm going to faint on my couch...

I guess his new drama then?? Opera Singer..He can do a comeback as Opera Singer or Musical Theater comeback. Do we have a drama about theatre production?? Nowadays musical actors are becoming famous.. maybe someone will delve into making it a drama..

Btw.. just realize from Hotel Del Luna cameo.. The Hotel is renamed as Blue Moon Hotel.. and the main character in IOTNBO all three had Moon in themm.. is that an early easter egg.

Damnn.. if you ever watched her previous work.. you will see that she is really a good kisser. In western dramas and movies, we often seen it actors who are married/single actors doing it without hesistation...

hahah but when we saw it in Asian dramas, we all are blushing like helll..

Perhaps she, Seo Ye Ji learns kissing move from the experience studying in Spain; hahahaha I've seen PDA a lot in Spain especially kissing

It’s bittersweet to say goodbye to It’s okay to not be okay. I had such a good time watching this drama. Kim Soo Hyun just proved his acting once again and I’m so glad he got this as his first drama after military. I’m even more impressed with Seo Ye Ji. All her previous project although not very popular and not appeal to the general public, display her excellent acting skills. Thanks to this drama I truly discover such an amazing actress. I am amazed when watching interviews of the cast and truly surprised when they explained their character. The 3 of them interpret the characters so well and have such good chemistry together. This is truly a healing drama for me, the way of storytelling with each episodes with a book is such a creating and clever way. I m impressed how much those fairytale and book teach us. I hope to see all 3 of them more in their future project.

Hi, I hv been wanting to ask about DVD or BluRay content. I am living very far away from SK and any SouthEast Asia Country. I wonder how do I purchase it? And would it be worth it? Is there any different from content in Netflix and DVD?

For example, there is a cut preview for ep 9 where they playing on the bridge and didnt shows up later on in ep 9..

And like MY is imagining Gang Tae as Mang Tae tied up strangled after she was teased.

I probably wants to purchase it; given that they giving the books as a set and several stuffs. But I'll doubt it will reached here since it is expensive

BluRay DVDs usually contains bonus contents including but not limited to interviews, directors cut, and  higher video quality for each episode.

As the fairy tale ended, it's time for me to let go of this drama although it's hard to say goodbye.  Thank you everyone and hope we'll be able to watch another interesting and impactful drama again.  Take care.

p.s

I was able to take a look at the hard copy of the storybooks since my sister bought them already.

Does anyone know if young Gang Tae knew KMY’s name when they were young?  Since he knew his brother loved the children’s book author KMY was he aware it could have been the girl from childhood hometown/school?

Also any idea about the (1) ring on ring finger or (2) refilmed final confession burberry scene with braided hair?!  I can’t help but think there were alternate versions of scenes and I’m curious if we’d ever find out.

So hard to let go.. Not Okay!!

Just to pen down some thoughts as aftermath of the drama.

The initial draw for me on this drama is the dark fantasy art deployed in the animated cinematography followed by the very unconventional character in Ko Moon Young.

However as the plot develops, KMY’s continuous flashy outfits and look starts to go old; and I found myself invested more in Sang Tae’s character and still enjoying the overall fairy tales vibes and story line the PD has weaved into the drama.

I thought I have all the feels on this drama nailed – nothing could have surprised me more.

But it’s the very last scene with Sang Tae’s waving/bidding farewell to his younger brother that really got me in the guts super unexpectedly

That scene accompanied by the ost music strike a chord with me. Here’s the youtube video to appreciate this particular track again!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uaqWQ2cK-mQ

It’s déjà vu -  as I recalled the scene at the airport a few years ago, witnessing my aunt weeping with such reluctance and yet at the same time breaking into huge proud smiles sending her eldest child for her overseas scholarship studies.

Kim Soo Hyun’s act in that scene is just so on-point with what I saw in my aunt.

It’s brilliant, considering how I initially thought his character is bland (compared to Moon Young and Sang Tae), but his performance somehow just grow on me unknowingly.

He has actually managed to bring Gang Tae's character to life and gotten the viewers to see/feel in his shoes.

For me, Sang Tae and Gang Tae’s individual self-development which further strengthen their siblings bond turns out to have a much more lasting impression than all other themes in this drama.

I doubt that GT knew when he was younger because there was never a scene of him calling her name. Both their moms died when they were 10, then ST and GT left Seongjin and we never knew what happened to MY. Perhaps GT should have known when he saw her photos on the books and on the banners around the bookstore, but he did say exclusively that he knew it was her when they actually met in person at the hospital in Seoul (where the hand cut accident happened).

Hello. Anyone knew when they did their last filming? Did they film it while it's airing??

I saw alot of posts on instagram saying it was Aug 1, but some also said it lasted until a few days after due to bad weather during filming. I think when they aired the second last episode all filming has concluded already.

UGH I'm still in denial :(

I love this, as well as the characters included in the book.

- ST as the boy in the box

- MY as the girl with cans around her

- ST as the boy wit the mask

Such a wonderful image/metaphor to illustrate their real characters

Tossing out the mother’s storyline resolution (I totally understand her role in the narrative yet I can’t accept the attempt at a real life evil witch’s story), this drama is just wonderful!  I love it!

Rarely have I found a Kdrama of this quality, so beautifully executed in fleshing out the characters and themes.  The unique way how the fairy tales were used for our characters, their stories, how they put on screen our own psyche and feelings about human relationships ... it’s one amazing directorial and scripwriting effort!  I will never forget this one!

Last but not least, props to SYJ, KSH and the wonderful OJS.  This was a labor of love.  I am so thoroughly impressed with SYJ.  OJS, his MST performance, his character, is one I will dearly hold close to my heart.  For what he  brought to life on screen for people with spectrum needs, he deserves all the accolades. The Moon brothers, I am so glad that you’ve found your happiness and identity by leaning on each other while learning to love the person that you are.  You inspired me to do the same!

Excellent drama! :heart1:
