 I am worried that JH will write a post that destroys HK and if it is not enough for DH and HK to break up, JH may harm HK like the way it did with No-eul but it will be more cruel.

 

Actually, JH felt that DH had feelings for HK. When JH was in his car, he looked at the pictures in his phone and remembered DH's acknowledgment, so he went to see HK , lie that over the past 10 years both of them have always loved each other (in fact, HK knows they broke up in the last 5 years) and threatened HK to leave DH. At the same time, JH injured NoEul to separate the feeling of DH for HK.

JH went to see HK after DH had already broke off her dinner mate arrangement with HK.  If you notice, in the serial murderer photo board, there's a picture of DH crying with Ah Jeong (it happened just after the break up).  It must have been JH who was hiding in the shadows listening in on DH and Ah Jeong.  That's why he knew HK didn't know DH's name, and that's why he was so crazed, because he knows DH has feelings for HK.

Yes that's true about him not wanting anyone to be left all alone and NE does not have a lot of good people around her. However I think if he has verbally made it clear that they are not going back to being in a relationship, he should still have some boundaries even if he is present in her life. I mean, his good intentions can also be bad if he keeps leading her on? So that's kind of why it is frustrating to me. I am alright with him being there for her and visiting her when she is in trouble. Just not allowing her to hug him and resting his head on her bed like he used to. Hahaha I am being overly realistic here so don't mind me.

Welcome @PSM a great post. I concur with alot of your comments on our OTP. I loved how you captured DH has shown EVERYTHING to HK and he has shown nothing-then again through no fault of his. He just had the right timing to be there at her most vulnerable. So his sharing his thoughts on relationships and about his mom was very telling.

*Ok the fact that PD Park Jinkyu (JK) in his hypnosis was cringeworthy as he said his name was our CLOY handsome lead Lee Jeong Hyeok. Ok it is cringes all around. But they still use his belching, smell gag. He has a high ego or just a really unaware OTAKU. When he was reporting to DH about other Drs the handsome DR Lee as alternative to our HK, he said he is handsome but had to add to the effect –not better looking than moi.  Does he have no idea or this bravado /bloated self-confidence cover up his pain. I hope he gets some help or works his issues out to be healthier.

 

@ElleSor @sadthe1st @blademan  I agree with you guys being curious about JH and Keanu's connection. i did notice that they had to show the (in my subbed episode) the title of one of JH's articles. I def felt like it was a clue. Giving JH is a medical Journalist and Keanu has suffered and fallen from grace right now--- definitely gives hints of a darkness between the two. Plus Keanu saw his Hoobae HK with DH and JH grabbing her (after the glamping date). So I liked that Keanu was sussing out how DH felt about both of them in the snacks scene in front of the convenience store.

 

Keanu's joy having the sausage. LOL. But giving his mini session with DH figuring out his former job and then shaking her head no no you are a con artist. (DH--your gut instincts were right , same when you said to HK while together during your dinner outings you felt you were being analyzed---I guess an occupational hazard). Saying her eye bags, lack of sleep and poor eating habits are not going to enable her to make good decisions. Teasing her about her playing 2 men and DH fessing up she is not that kind of person as she has nothing going on with either. But loved that Keanu saw the connection before HK and dressed out & came out of hiding to warn him about JH. It was chilling how ---if you have anyone to protect keep them far from JH.  On top of it,JH  makes an appointment to warn off and talk about his GF , DH to HK.  The glee and happiness JH felt realizing HK did not know DH's actual identity (name and occupation) just further showed to him that was definitely a lie he was her BF as AY did verify in her way when JH asked her. But saying she loves only him. The fact HK has to remind him, she is her own person to make her own decisions.

I agree with you all that JH and I am sure others, JH is definitely mentally unstable. Initially I was thinking it was not serious. But as I mentioned earlier, a screw is loose if you are trying to create situations causing harm to others (NE photo shoot and JH getting injured to get attention and sympathy from DH). So despicable. Plus the fact he had HK business card. Did DH drop it? But she didn't and JH stole it from her home? (I guess I did not catch that as everyone is saying JH went to DH home. Yikes creepers.) Then that wall of DH's pics---def this is NOT a rational person but sign of a stalker.  Always in her personal space, doing things to get closer ie the program HAD to have PD Woo (our DH), bringing pizza to the staff to share hoping to see DH but she was not there, using lame excuse of wedding invitation saying he had something to say. UGGGH. I have no sympathy. But I have to admit JH (actor Lee Ji Hoon) is killing it for me! I had only seen him in "Your House helper."

 

AY is a great friend and boss to DH. The fact she got medicine for DH and told her to take the day off even though DH insisted she was fine after the NE photo shoot incident. LOVE them!  Or when she called DH to meet up (not knowing DH decided to end her DInner Mate relationship with HK after realizing his true identity). Or how AY made DH drop the bag she caught it---saying the cute "Love is timing." AY she said just tell HK who you are? You have nothing to hide! I did not raise you to be so timid. But when DH said she was not going to do anything, she let go (not happy but at least she respected DH but made sure to remind DH her opinion. 

 

Cute how DH is quick on the uptake that AY might be interested in Keanu. Again love DH is the person made sure to remind her --don't judge a book by its cover when AY chastised her for talking with the very grungy Keanu. But DH was like he may be homeless but he is a good guy. Her speech just because money and status doesn't make people good. SOOOOO TRUE!

I grew up of working class and modest means. We had a family restaurant and struggled. I wore coats (hand me downs from kind clients). My mom told me some of the worst tipper were those who dressed very well and made a mess. (We had a small sit down restaurant in Southern Massachusetts (east coast of USA). I remember cleaning up after a really nasty and dirty table and they left my mom a penny for a tip. Those who were regular kind hard working folks--- construction works were most polite and generous people. There was not much diversity where I grew up. So being ASIAN, I stood out. I was 1 Asian out of 3 in a class of 413 in my graduating High School class.

 

I had a summer job at the local MALL at the Asian eatery (the owner came and self introduced himself to my family to make friends--- pre internet). Just too few of us in the area. So I worked for him one summer break. I remember one a grandmother dressed in a luxurious fur coat with her grandchild. The grandchild wanted some food. My boss let me negotiate an affordable price sometimes. So the child wanted chicken fingers and fried rice , I told her $3. She said it was too expensive. (What? I could not believe it)

 

My mom always taught me to not judge people by their looks, belongings and education.  (Hard not to as a human being first impressions do count, but she has a point.) It is manners and how you treat your fellow human beings.  I had one time helped my friend --she was top ranking Asian in local government. I planned her holiday outing. So she was running late and let me invite my mom to participate as a thank you for my help. I was surrounded by her team--- one black person and the rest were white lawyers and interns. No one talked to me or my mother save for one black person. The black person and I had a lovely chat. Only when my friend (their supervisor) arrived asking how I got there --I lived nearby (I lived in a good part of town). Then all of sudden the others wanted to talk to me.

 

So the fact DH told AY to be more open minded about people I loved her for it. Also when she noted that HK for their first official Dinner Mate outing choosing affordable Samgyupsal (thanks to his assistant LOL) she thought he would go all fancy (I am sure he would have as the second place was more his speed). But during their time in JEJU our granny HK was not liking her thank you meal to treat him was at a food truck. He may have snickered DH had the last laugh as he inhaled his bowl and then proceeded to try to steal DH's bowl. LOL  Or when they met up after trot singer's hacking #1 win, he was scoffing at the seafood place hole in the wall until the plate of delectable UNI came out then HK shut up. Our DH is so down to earth and love her for it!

 

 

 

I like GW is a loyal friend to all. But he is not helping pushing HK and keeping him informed about all of NE's situations. Despite all his talk, HK is sensitive and a good guy. I mean his first love is in the hospital, though he no longer wants to be with her that sentiment is there. (Again thinking back how he refused to help her was more for him to break free---very proud of him.) GW also told HK if he could stay with NE.  He also said please help NE. I mean GW told HK that DH is working with NE and JH because you ignored her casting call in  the first place.

 

HK is a good guy. He wanted to convey Keanu's warning as DH is someone he cares about as a person due to their meeting/outings. So when he was waited a long time outside her place to say Keanu's warning and left not seeing her. (I mean he could have called her at the 2ND studios or showed up there, but he was sensitive to NOT let her know he KNEW her identity. He knew enough then she must have been embarrassed due to their heated online interactions when she tried to cast him.) So when he saw her at the hospital, he did run out to tell her the JH warning. DH did not realize the severity of JH condition, who could she as she doesn't know how much JH and HK know of each other or their interaction.

 

NE pointed out that HK was not in love with her as he was patient, kind and did not get jealous or frustrated with her. She didn't feel he loved her. He probably did love her in his way and with his fractured relationship with his mom. HK probably put her on a pedestal. Shes attractive but her personality is not that lovely. (Maybe she was with him--but hearing she cheated and did heinous things---again if she was testing him still not right.) She also thinks like JH, they both can just PICK UP where they left off. Hello---people and emotions and time has elapsed. Relationships do not work like that.

 

But thanks to NE saying her speech to try to get HK back as he dropped her off. He recounted that he felt, anger, frustration and jealous over a person he barely knew. Then when he came to that realization, he rushed to DH to be casted so he could be there to protect her from JH. Also in his confession, I am glad he told her about missing her and liking her despite all the insults they exchanged before knowing who each other was. So amazing. So PLEASE we are due for an OTP kiss. Someone said ep 10?  I hope ep 9 but latest ep 10? Pretty please?

 

Ok need to get back to work. Now back to the waiting game sigh.

Count me as one of those that keep watching HK's confession AND the business card scene. I can't decide which scene i love more. Safe to say ep.8 is my favorite so far. 

 

That brings me to the preview.

Oh boy HK's swoony eyes looking at DH had me . I can't quite tell DH's expression though. Good to know she at least does not reject him since they are having dinner (DH in that mint green jacket!). HK and DH will have to keep their relationship in the down low though right? Dun dun dun my favorite trope!!!!

@airgelaal @ednamode101 @lalalaelala OMG looking forward to the next episode. Yeah our OTP finally sailing and I concur that this was my FAVE episode.

 

For the preview, cool that HK will be cooking again. Glad that DH will work with HK, why not she tried to cast him. Now that she knows he likes her and overlooked their "fight/bad blood" and still through all that they been through---likes her and wants to be with her. I also like that even though he did and want to warn her off JH (after Sunbae Keanu's warning). As a man no as a doctor, decided to go to DH to make that declaration to work with her and confess to her. So HOT!

 

(Don't forget when he was upset over DH cancelling their Dinner Mate outings/ he was definitely moody. Poor BJ was right thinking his boss was moody or out of love . HAHAHAHAAA. HK rejected everything except seeing his patients. So he def knew he had the free time to take up our lovely PD Woo DH offer to cast him. Looking forward to their interactions together and their developing relationship.

 

NE it seems in the preview declares that she has never stopped loving HK. But DH knows that HK is over her. These overconfident exs thinking that time stopped and they can just pick up like nothing happened? Eh?

 

Funny how Keanu continues to bug DH about her eye circles spelling "Crisis." His way to continue to be wary about JH?

 

Or how HK is like---You SHOULD have told me earlier to his poor assistant BJ? (I wonder in reference to what?) 

 

NE talking to HK, didn't you dislike PD Woo DH? I loved how HK tells her -It is not because I disliked her. YES! 

 

That ending scene on the preview how he grabs hold of DH's hand and then his sexy smile. OOOOH. Yes DH does like a bit flustered/uncomfortable but I wonder why. Interesting the VO has HK saying ---grab hold of me as I am a competent doctor.

 

So I can guess he is wooing her and trying to get her to date him? I wonder after the confession how DH will react.

2) Tell him, she is not in the frame of mind to date right now?

 

What will she do? It seems like she doesn't readily accept his sudden confession. (She was run over by a train without any warning.)

So that last scene in the preview says so much. Also the other comments from NE to HK and NO to DH are very telling.  She is trying to stake her claim on HK and figure out HK's feelings for DH.

I think my problem is that I keep imagining myself as DH, haha. And there is no way I would reject HK. Embarrassing swearing and interfering exes? Sidelined because he’s worth it! He’s so sweet, and he’s funny and smart. He’s a keeper! He’s right to tell her she shouldn’t let him go. Can you tell I am a new SSH fan? Haha. Where have I been?! My eyes have been opened! He’s a revelation.

@cantbreathe  He like the ONLY Korean star my mom loves. She started with his immensely popular drama Autumn in My Heart with Song Hye Gyo and Won Bin.  She watched it many times and HAD to get me to watch it. I cried buckets and I thought once is enough for me.

 

After that i went to see his other works in particular Three Men Three Women (His breakout role). Recently he was "I Live Alone" and during the time of shooting this drama. The teasing of very witty and funny actor Lee Si Eon (cameo as Food Truck chef)  during it is funny. I only saw clips. But there is a time he sweetly wanted to cook for his dongsengs (both Food Truck Chefs) and the actor who plays his assistant in the drama. They have fun and hang out. The panel watching the show all SWOON over SSH. (Truthfully who wouldn't?)  But they did take it to the nth level even if showing him in the dark sleeping on the bed they were sighing. (LOL a bit overboard if you ask me.) He was so awkward trying to figure out how to turn on the TV  while eating breakfast. He also couldn't figure out how to turn on the oven.  But he did look cool making coffee. 

 

Even in a hoodie and shorts ---he looks good on his run in Jeju Island. Here are some clips (sorry no subs)

@cantbreathe HEHEEEHEHEHEE I agree it would crazy to refuse SSH! He is so dreamy.

But I admit, no matter how dreamy if his personality is trash, then the person looks ugly to me. So the fact he has only been amazing to DH only makes me want her to say YESSSSSS! The fact when she discovered who he was, she cared about him not wanting him to be hurt. She ended it as she took HIS advice to end it before having a beginning and giving up as Dinner Mates.

 

But when we saw how HK as confused she gave him a positive outlook to think differently and be brave as the different ending can happen. So BOTH are taking each other's words to heart.

 

 @airgelaal Hmm hug after the big confession, I hope so. (I rather a SMOOCH) but I could settle for it. Not sure though. 

(Such a swoony confession, doesn't hurt SSH has a dreamy voice that matches his dreamy looks. )

 

 

@hyall yeah HK was very patient towards DH it is true. He waited a LONG time 2 x once to give her his biz card and another time to tell her to get away from JH. As for someone noting him calling a patient after 10 mins of waiting. personal and work are different. Work he is paid top money for his time. So of COURSE he has to be mindful of it. As for your personal time, you are willingly giving your attention and time to those matters/ people in your life (despite your busy life).

 

Also after DH got home after being shocked seeing HK at the hospital, she then was able to think. He did not say anything to me---why are you here with NE? Who are you? etc. Did he even notice my injury? Even if she in her head thought, ok he could have been shocked and just did not know what to say. I felt her sadness feeling HK did not care about her with no comments about her welling being etc in the hospital and later when he warned her of JH. She even asked him, is it ok you are still here with me?  It must have hurt. My heart hurt so much for her at that time. Just confirmed in her head she did the right thing to stop dealing with HK.

 

From her viewpoint, he rushed in to see NE, shocked saw DH said nothing. GW just looked at both of them and nothing was said and he was taken away to do paperwork as her guardian. Then NE has to wake up and hug DH. Poor DH is awkward and shell shocked to see HK there and leaves. Yeah definitely not a good time for her. Thank god that did not LAST long.

 

Glad HK had that inner monologue I mentioned before how he felt angry, frustrated and jealous all towards DH when en route to confess and work with her. 

 

At least not DRAGGY -he did not say or she did not say angst. Do not miss that at all. Really loving this couple. I am soooo counting down for their LOVEY DOVEY scenes and first kiss! (Our OTP chemi BTS clips is too adorbs. The smiles and how SJH says Oppa to SSH.)

I'm rewatching, and has anyone else noticed how the business card scene was done in the daytime, but by the time she told him she wasn't interested, it was nighttime?  That's really annoying!  I'm just going to pretend she was shellshocked for ages and the sun went down in that interval.  Yeah!  I will not criticise this programme because I love it so much.
