The 1st Teaser is out and the character relationship chart.

I think MBC is going an extra mile in promoting this drama that PHJ is guesting in a variety show... :P

I agree. I'm liking MBC's promotion style for Old School Intern vs KBS' style for Forest. :)

Watch: Park Hae Jin Turns The Tables On Kim Eung Soo In 1st Teaser For Upcoming Office Comedy

Apr 18, 2020
by J. Lim

Park Hae Jin and Kim Eung Soo have previewed the hilarious chemistry they will show in upcoming drama “Old School Intern” (working title)!

MBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama will be an office comedy where a man gets his sweet revenge on a former boss who made his life miserable when said former boss gets hired as his subordinate at a new company.

The drama has shared its first teaser, showing the roles reversed between Park Hae Jin and Kim Eung Soo’s characters. Park Hae Jin takes on the role of Ga Yeol Chan, the elite head of the marketing team at the ramyun branch of Jun Su Foods while Kim Eung Soo plays Lee Man Shik, his former boss.

At first glance, the teaser seems to show an older employee chewing out his younger subordinate, starting off his statements with “Back in my day,” and complaining that he isn’t being shown respect. However, as the camera pans down, it’s clear what the dynamics are between the pair as Ga Yeol Chan sits comfortably in a chair and Lee Man Shik is kneeling on boxes of ramyun. When Ga Yeol Chan looks over, Lee Man Shik’s bravado slips and he lowers his gaze.

The comical chemistry between the two actors is set to shine in the upcoming drama, which will air as the follow-up to “Find Me in Your Memory” and premiere in May.

Watch: Park Hae Jin And Kim Eung Soo Make A Hilarious Duo In Teaser For New Office Comedy

Apr 25, 2020
by L. Kim

MBC’s “Old School Intern” (working title) has revealed a new preview!

The new Wednesday-Thursday drama will be an office comedy where a man (Park Hae Jin) gets his sweet revenge on a former boss (Kim Eung Soo) who made his life miserable when said former boss gets hired as his subordinate at a new company.

The first teaser showed the role reversal between Park Hae Jin and Kim Eung Soo. Their quirky relationship continues in the second teaser.

The clip starts off with Park Hae Jin gazing into the fish tank with a look of awe. The company mascot slides into view on the opposite side, and they slowly start to head in the same direction together. It’s as if the two are re-enacting a scene from “Romeo and Juliet.”

Things take a hilarious turn when they reach the end of the fish tank. Park Hae Jin appears in a chicken suit as he demands, “Are you kidding me? I’ve been looking for this for a long time!” He yanks the mascot’s head off, and Kim Eun Soo appears on screen. Park Hae Joon waddles off in irritation, and Kim Eung Soo yells “wait for me!” as he waddles after him.

Watch the second teaser below

“Old School Intern” will premiere in May as the follow-up to “Find Me in Your Memory.”

Park Hae Jin Stuns With His New Role As Employee-Turned-Employer In New Office Comedy

Apr 29, 2020
by L. Kim

Upcoming MBC Wednesday-Thursday drama “Old School Intern” (working title) has released a new poster and stills of Park Hae Jin!

“Old School Intern” will be an office comedy where a man (Park Hae Jin) gets his sweet revenge on a former boss (Kim Eung Soo) who made his life miserable when said former boss gets hired as his subordinate at a new company.

Park Hae Jin’s visuals shine in the new poster as he portrays a character who stepped up the ladder with a speedy promotion. Beside him is an open tablet, and ramen boxes are stacked up behind him. The background is actually the office of the marketing sales team. The most eye-catching item in the poster is the giant text “kkondae,” which is a Korean slang phrase for an older person with a similar connotation to “boomer” in English.

The drama also shared a first glimpse of Park Hae Jin as his new character who is always dressed impeccably. He is spotted wearing various dress shirts, and his fashionable ties are always on point. Thanks to his hard work, he is not a mere employee anymore but a star in the ramen industry.
