In the context of the drama, I agreed with @MinLyn. JH is always thinking of the good perspective for HJ,  so Instead of HJ being always sorry to her,  just break up, so HJ can be freed from those sorry he has constantly saying to JH. For JH that's a positive analysis of their relationship. JH loves HJ so much. 

 

I haven't watched the final episode so I'll be back. Fighting!!!

I was about to ask the same question. I stayed a little longer to check, maybe they planned to have a 2hr finale, but yeah that's the ending.
