Channel A’s “Eccentric! Chef Moon” has released new stills of Shinhwa’s Eric!

“Eccentric! Chef Moon” is about reckless world-famous fashion designer Yoo Yoo Jin (Go Won Hee) who suffers from memory loss but experiences love, growth, and success after meeting star chef Moon Seung Mo (Eric).

In the upcoming romantic comedy, Eric plays chef Moon Seung Mo who works at a Korean pop-up restaurant and whose skills have been acknowledged even abroad. In order to transport the freshest ingredients, Moon Seung Mo personally travels to the location of the ingredients himself to check the food’s taste and scent while simultaneously showcasing his foreign language skills.

Not only has Eric taken on roles in popular romantic comedies such as “Another Oh Hae Young” and “Discovery of Love,” but he has also shown his talent and love for cooking in variety programs such as on tvN’s “Three Meals a Day,” making him a perfect fit for this upcoming chef role.

Channel A’s upcoming Friday-Saturday drama “Eccentric! Chef Moon” has released a new poster!

“Eccentric! Chef Moon” is about reckless world-famous fashion designer Yoo Bella (Go Won Hee) who suffers from memory loss but experiences love, growth, and success after meeting star chef Moon Seung Mo (Shinhwa’s Eric).

On March 11, the new drama released a group poster featuring the two leads and the people of Seoha village. In the poster, Moon Seung Mo, Yoo Bella, and Kim Seol Ah (Go Do Yeon) are smiling in front of a traditional Korean house. Holding delicious food and fresh ingredients, the three people flash bright smiles as if they’re expecting people to visit.

The background also showcases the unique individuals who live at Seoha village. For one, Bang Da Hoon (Choi Kwang Je), who is standing in a comical pose at the end of the line, has settled down at Seoha village after following his friend Moon Seung Mo through interesting circumstances, and he’s expected to be the show’s refreshing energizer.

Furthermore, the poster features grandpa Bong Doo (Song Young Jae) and grandma Yoon Ja (Jeon Gook Hyang) with gentle smiles as well as the head of Seoha village Pi Gon Sook (Cha Chung Hwa) with a humorous expression.

200306 Shinhwa’s Eric & Go Won Hee, The Encounter Between The Star Chef and The Australian Homeless in “Yoobyeolna! Chef Moon“?

 

 

Eric and Go Won-hee begin a new start on Yoobyeolna! Chef Moon.

 

Channel A released a preview video for their new TV show, Yoobyeolna! Chef Moon. which will be broadcast every Friday and Saturday. The drama shows not only show just bitter-sweet love between Eric and Go Won-hee but also conflicts surrounding designer Go Won-hee as well.

 

At the start of the preview, Chef Moon (played by Eric) catches the audience’s eyes with his appearance as a chef while explaining his dish fluently in a foreign language. Next, it raises curiosity for the viewers to wonder what happened when Moon Seung-mo was getting arrested by a policeman with a gun pointing at him.

 

 

At the end, Eric was telling the police that “She thought I am strange!” then Yoo Bella (played by Go Won-hee) fainted all of a sudden. Eric got to know Go Won-hee as a homeless, but she is actually a famous fashion designer.

 

After their first encounter in Australia, they meet again at a village. In this scene, Go Won-hee shows up with a shocking visual reminiscent of a horror movie. With his great cooking skills, Eric starts making food for Go Won-hee as she keeps saying “Hungry”, “I’m hungry”. Go Won-hee, Go Do-yeon and Choi Kwang-je unintentionally ended up living with Eric. They invigorate the drama with their humorous chemistry as they continue to live together in a close cohabitation.

 

 

In addition to Go Won-hee losing her memory and become a troublemaker of Seoha Village, there is also great tension among Ahn Nae-sang, Kil Hae-yeon and Cha Jung-won. Ahn Nae-sang is heard saying “Then, kill her”; Cha Jung-won being nervous; and Gil Hae-yeon trying to find Go Won-hee that adds high curiosity to the future story development.

Set to premiere on Channel A this comming Friday, March 27th (Friday), a Friday-Saturday drama “Yoobyeolna! Chef Moon” hinted at a special synergy between tsundere Eric (as Moon Seung-mo) and mature child Go Do-yeon (as Kim Seol-ah) from Seoha Village.

She boasts charms with her Chungcheong dialect and arouses viewers’ curiosity of where she came from and how she found Moon Seung-mo.

 

While there is no evidence that Moon Seung-mo is her father, Kim Seol-ah firmly believes that she is his daughter; and while Moon Seung-mo appears to push her away, he actually protects Seol-ah during crisis. Such scenes are expected to present the viewers a heart-warming story.

I did not know Yoo Bella never reveals her face... I wonder why.  My first thought was may she's like the ghost designer for the daughter of that Im CEO.... but makes no sense because everyone knows there is Yoo Bella

 Maybe it is a marketing decision. To make a mysterious aura for Yoo Bella. Or she wants to keep herself out of the spotlight. We`ll see why she decided to not reveal her face.

 

I have a feeling that Jang Sun Young is overbearing. Maybe Yoo Bella needs to find herself and meeting Cheif Moon will be a new oportunity for her to grow up as a person.

From the previews so far, didn't seem like Jang Sun Young is overbearing being like a family member to Bella.  But preview is tricky sometimes.  I can't wait to find out why Bella not showing her face despite being a famous designer as well as what made little Kim Seol-ah firmly believe Seung-mo is her father despite they don't even have the same last name
