Story:

 

It tells the story of a single mom who has been living on her own for 14 years when four men suddenly enter her life: a bad but tempting man, a pathetic but well-off man, a scary but sexy man, and a young but appealing man.

Song Ji-hyo courted for upcoming JTBC romance drama Begin Again

Running Man actress Song Ji-hyo (Lovely Horribly) is currently considering her drama comeback with JTBC’s upcoming Begin Again. Her agency stated on October 15 that she had received an offer and was reviewing it positively.

The role that Song Ji-hyo is up for is No Ae-jung, a single mom with a strong survival instinct, who has been alone for 14 years. All of a sudden, three different men who appeal to her in different ways appear in her life. One is a bad but attractive man, another is a man who is younger but makes her heart flutter, and the last is a man who is scary but also sexy at the same time.

If Song Ji-hyo confirms, this will be her drama comeback after a one year hiatus following Lovely Horribly. She hasn’t really had the best of luck in her drama roles lately so here’s hoping this one will be a bigger hit than Lovely Horribly, which set record low ratings last year.

JTBC’s Begin Again is set to air sometime in the first half of 2020.

Dasom has been cast in JTBC’s upcoming drama “Did We Love?” (literal title), joining Son Ho Jun, Song Ji Hyo, and Kim Min Joon.

“Did We Love?” tells the story of a single mom who has been living on her own for 14 years when four men suddenly enter her life: a bad but tempting man, a pathetic but well-off man, a scary but sexy man, and a young but appealing man.

Dasom will be playing Joo Ah Rin, a popular actress who is known as “Asia’s first love.” Her fans love her for her kindness and angel-like image, and anything she wears immediately sells out.

Though she is “Asia’s first love,” her own first love is her tutor when she was in high school, Oh Dae Oh (played by Son Ho Jun). Dae Oh reappears in Ah Rin’s life as a famous writer named Cheon Eok Man, and Ah Rin does her best to win his heart.

A source from the drama said, “Dasom is an actress with a variety of charms. We’re looking forward to how she will bring Joo Ah Rin to life with her refreshing personality and lovely energy.”

On May 22, the upcoming drama released a main poster that features Song Ji Hyo surrounded by her four romantic prospects. First up is Son Ho Jun, who will be starring in the drama as Noh Ae Jung’s ex-boyfriend Oh Dae Oh. A bestselling novelist who is described as a “charming bad boy,” Oh Dae Oh is irresistibly tempting to women, even when they know they should stay away.

“Did We Love?” is a new romantic comedy starring Song Ji Hyo as Noh Ae Jung, a movie producer and single mom who has been living on her own for 14 years. Despite having already given up on romance, she suddenly finds herself embarking on an unexpected second chapter of her love life when four very different men enter her story at the same time.

On May 28, the upcoming drama introduced viewers to its leads in a fun teaser with a Western theme. In the newly released clip, Noh Ae Jung and her daughter Ha Ni (played by Uhm Chae Young) are on the run from some sword-wielding bandits chasing them on horseback.

Just as the villains close in on the mother-daughter duo, a hero rescues them from their seemingly hopeless situation by shooting down the bandits from afar. As the surprised Noh Ae Jung catches sight of their savior in the distance, Ha Ni excitedly exclaims, “Father came!”

However, Noh Ae Jung grows confused as not one, but four different cowboys saunter into the picture together. As she counts out loud, “What? Two… three… four?” the handsome, winking Ryu Jin (played by Song Jong Ho), the young but manly Oh Yeon Woo (played by Koo Ja Sung), and the scary but sexy Goo Pa Do (played by Kim Min Joon) all ride into the frame. Last but not least is Noh Ae Jung’s charming ex-boyfriend Oh Dae Oh (played by Son Ho Jun), who wears a confident “bad boy” smirk as he says in English, “Hi.”

Noh Ae Jung turns to her daughter and asks in bewilderment, “But who among them do you mean?”

“Did We Love?” is a romantic comedy starring Song Ji Hyo as Noh Ae Jung, a movie producer and single mom who has been living on her own for 14 years. Despite having already given up on romance, she suddenly finds herself embarking on an unexpected second chapter of her love life when four very different men enter her story at the same time.

 

On May 30, JTBC released photos of its cast attending their first script reading. After the initial run-through, the actors agreed, “[The script] was fun even when I was reading it alone, but it was even more fun reading it together. I’m looking forward to how much more fun it will be when we actually start filming.”

 

According to those present, leading lady Song Ji Hyo wowed everyone with how immersed she became in her character’s emotions during the reading. Not only did she pour her heart and soul into her acting, but she also displayed impressive chemistry with each of the drama’s four leading men, making each of them an excitingly different, viable romantic prospect for Noh Ae Jung.

 

Son Ho Jun also captivated everyone with his transformation into Noh Ae Jung’s ex-boyfriend Oh Dae Oh, a bestselling novelist with irresistible “bad boy” appeal. The actor described Oh Dae Oh as “a character that is impossible to dislike, no matter how many unlikable things he does,” and he perfectly pulled off the difficult balance between charming and infuriating.

Noh Ae Jung’s ex-boyfriend Oh Dae Oh (Son Ho Jun) is described to be a charming bad boy. The new teaser shows the quirky dynamics between the five lead characters. Noh Ae Jung is a single mom who is busy trying to make ends meet. Everything seems like it’s falling apart, but things start looking up when Goo Pa Do (Kim Min Joon), the CEO of Nine Capital, declares he’ll make an investment in her movie.

 

This leads her to become entangled with actor Ryu Jin (Song Jong Ho), whom she must hire if she wants to keep the investment. From the familiar way she reaches out to him, it seems as if they have a past history.
