K-Drama stars will inevitably encounter risky scenes to shoot, for which they may need a stunt double to avoid getting hurt or injured. However, some actors and actresses choose to do the actions themselves to maintain the scene’s credibility despite the risks of injuries.

Sisyphus: The Myth

 

Following Run On , which ended, jTBC is broadcasting a replacement drama that is no less exciting, entitled  Sisyphus: The Myth starting February 17, 2021.

This drama airs by replacing the drama titled  Run On  and fills the slot on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:00 KST. Filming began in May 2020.

 

Actor Cho Seung Woo was lined up to be the main character in this drama. He previously starred in the dramas Stranger 2 (2020) and Life (2018).

This time, he was paired with actress Park Shin Hye who previously had roles in the hit dramas Memories of the Alhambra (2018) and Temperature of Love (2017).

Synopsis

Sisyphus: The Myth  tells the story of Han Tae Sul, the founder of Quantum and Time . He is a genius engineer with high level coding skills and a handsome face.

Thanks to its achievements, Quantum and Time became a world-class company and was even dubbed the "Miracles of the Korean Engineering Industry".

 

 

But in reality, Tae Sul actually made the company's stock unstable after his brother's death ten years ago.

One day, he witnesses a painful truth regarding his brother's death and decides to embark on a dangerous journey.

Meanwhile, Kang Seo Hae is a soldier who is skilled at jumping from one building to another, fighting and beating big men with his bare hands, a gun, and even setting up explosives.


With his survival skills, he starts a dangerous adventure to find Han Tae Sul.

What really happened between Han Tae Sul and Kang Seo Hae? Will the two of them find answers to whatever they are looking for?
