Netflix New Releases: Movies And TV Shows Streaming In February 2021

PUBLISHED: JAN. 19. 2021 8:41 AM

Is it just us, or is love in the air? Be it romantic, platonic, or the fondness for one's family and fur babies, that heart shaped candy can mean anything so long as you let it. And on top of the confections and cards that February brings, there's also a slew of new Netflix offerings to welcome into your living room. Thankfully, it's not all simply rom-coms and costume romances included in the latest round of titles, though you can definitely find both available at your fingertips. If you're interested in checking out last month's titles, feel free to look at January's total lineup below. But if you're ready for the future, here's what's on the docket for Netflix in February 2021.

February TBD

Made You Look: A True Story about Fake Art (2020)
Sisyphus - NETFLIX ORIGINAL
Vincenzo - NETFLIX ORIGINAL

We're only approaching February in the world of Netflix, but the entirety of 2021 is actually looking to be stuffed with original films and series ready to entertain the world. Come to think of it, the promise of something new each week is something akin to that dominance that The Rock prided the studio/streaming provider for. Though dominance doesn't mean everything you see above will stay put, as titles are subject to change or availability. So if something looks like it's missing or misplaced, you'll want to check this listing before you start to look for your car keys. Until next time, stream responsibly, and have a happy February 2021!

Only 50 billion won in production cost... tvN·Netflix'Tentpole' drama war

Input 2021.01.31. 6:24 pm

 Revision 2021.02.01. 12:23 am

Also 'sijipeuseu' of Jo Seung-woo, Park Shin Hye starring 17 from one JTBC is aired on. It is a work depicting the journey of genius engineer Han Tae-sul (played by Seung-woo Jo) and the savior Seo-hae Kang (played by Park Shin-hye), who has been a savior for him, who tries to uncover the beings living in this world while hiding their identity. Director Jin-hyuk, who created the'Legend of the Blue Sea' and'The Master's Sun', and Lee Je-in and Jeon Chan-ho, couple writers, worked together.

There is also a tendency to increase dependence on foreign capital.

Works that exceed the existing tent pole scale are also produced one after another. 40 billion won is invested in'Ask the Stars', the first space drama in Korea made by Keyeast . It is known that the production cost of 50 billion won is required for'Moving ', which is based on the webtoon of the same name and stars Jo In-seong, Han Hyo-joo, and Cha Tae-hyun . The scale is similar to the'Asdal Chronicle', which recorded the highest production cost of 54 billion won.

The increasing production cost is largely influenced by online video service ( OTT ) Netflix. Popular culture critic Jung Deok-Hyun analyzed that "Netflix works such as'Kingdom' and'Sweet Home' are different from previous works in terms of scale and genre. This is because viewers' expectations for drama have increased."

Seung-Woo Jo of 'Sisyphus' proves 'Seung-Woo Jo is the genre' again?

Jo Seung-woo, who overwhelmed the play with irreplaceable acting in a number of big works such as'The Forest of Secrets','The Forest of Secrets 2', and'Life', and drew favorable reviews as'Jo Seung-woo is the genre', this time at JTBC'Si Jeep: He takes on the role of Han Tae-sul, a genius engineer in'the myth' (hereinafter referred to as'Cyprus'), and sets out once again in the tranquility of the home theater.

'Sisyphus' is a fantasy mystery drama about the journey of Han Tae-sul, a genius engineer, and Seo-hae Kang (Park Shin-hye), a savior who has gone back a long and dangerous path for him, who seeks to uncover the existence of a hidden identity in our world.

In this work, Seung-Woo Cho is going to show a transformation of an image that has never been seen before by crafting a character called'Han Tae-Sul' with his unique acting ability and expressive power. It will be aired in February.

3 points that emphasized from the character Han Tae Sul.

1. Brain. He has an outstanding prominence in terms of engineering that they called him as a genius. He entered KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) at the age of 17.
After successfully established "Quantum & Time", he became devoted into research mode in earnest and expanded his influence around the world by pouring out vast amounts of Innovative results. Han Taesul who's known as a miracle of science and engineering, and exerts influence from various angles, is the brain-sexy man of this era with both wealth and honor.

2. University Oppa Han Taesul is a living chaebol who has tremendous wealth and honor, but when someone asks, "Who are you?" he'd answer consistently, “Engineer”  He chose naturalness over the image of the chairman as he always wore natural clothes.

3. Story. Although, the character Han Taesul sounds perfect, he actually has a heartbreaking story, moments of regret in the past. Contrary to his brother, Han Taesan who always believed in Taesul, Taesul himself couldn't do that. As the brother died suddenly, he lost his chance to trust him forever. Taesul is left with deep regrets and scars, trapped in that moment and couldn't step forward. Wealth and fame couldn't fulfill his empty heart.
