Byun Woo Min And Jung Ji Ahn Confirmed To Reprise Their Roles In “Dr. Romantic” Season 3

“Dr. Romantic” will have additional actors returning for their roles in the upcoming season!

 

Previously, Han Suk Kyu, Ahn Hyo Seop, and Lee Sung Kyung were confirmed to be joining the new season.

“Dr. Romantic” depicts the story of sincere doctors working in the countryside at Doldam Hospital. Season 1, which first aired in 2016, recorded a personal best viewership rating of 27.6 percent, while Season 2 in 2020 concluded on a personal best record of 27.1 percent.

 

The agencies of Byun Woo Min and Jung Ji Ahn recently announced that the actors will also reprise their characters for “Dr. Romantic 3.”

Byun Woo Min’s agency DEAR ENT stated, “Byun Woo Min, who successfully led Season 1 and Season 2, will once again take on the role of Nam Do Il and help lead ‘Dr. Romantic 3.’ Please kindly anticipate it.”

 

Meanwhile, Jung Ji Ahn will be back as Uhm Hyun Jung, the longest-tenured employee after chief nurse Oh Myung Shim (Jin Kyung) at Doldam Hospital. The ever-so-positive and passionate Uhm Hyun Jung dreams to be the next Oh Myung Shim and has extraordinary loyalty to her. Jung Ji Ahn’s character is one that excellently takes care of her patients, but at the same time, she is so absorbed in her work that she fails badly in the field of love.

 

Anticipation is high to see Byun Woo Min, who has left a strong impression through his realistic portrayal in various dramas such as “Temptation of Wife,” “A Good Supper,” and “It’s Beautiful Now,” and Jung Ji Ahn, who always charmed viewers with her outstanding comic acting, returning for what is considered to be one of the most anticipated dramas next year.

 

“Dr. Romantic 3” will begin filming with the aim of airing in the first half of 2023.

So Ju Yeon will be returning for the third season of “Dr. Romantic“!

 

On November 4, the actress’s agency officially confirmed, “After receiving lots of love from viewers in ‘Dr. Romantic 2,’ So Ju Yeon will be starring together with Han Suk Kyu, Ahn Hyo Seop, and Lee Sung Kyung in Season 3 as well.”

 

“Dr. Romantic” tells the stories of realistic doctors working at a rundown hospital in the countryside. Han Suk Kyu, Ahn Hyo Seop, Lee Sung Kyung, Byun Woo Min, and Jung Ji Ahn were all previously confirmed to be returning for the upcoming third season of the hit drama. 

 

In Season 3, So Ju Yeon will be reprising her role as the cheerful and lovable doctor Yoon Ah Reum, whose chemistry with Park Eun Tak (played by Kim Min Jae) stole viewers’ hearts in Season 2. 

 

“Dr. Romantic 3” is currently slated to premiere in the first half of 2023.

Kim Min Jae Confirmed To Return For “Dr. Romantic 3”

Good news for “Dr. Romantic” fans: on-screen couple Kim Min Jae and So Ju Yeon will be reuniting for Season 3!

 

On November 5, Kim Min Jae’s agency Nyam Nyam Entertainment confirmed that the actor would be returning for the upcoming third season of the hit drama. The agency announced, “Kim Min Jae is set to appear in the SBS drama ‘Dr. Romantic 3,’ which is scheduled to air in the first half of next year.”

 

“Kim Min Jae grew together with ‘Dr. Romantic,'” continued the agency. “He is an actor who believes the flow of a story is important, and he doesn’t place importance on whether a character is a leading or supporting role.”

 

They concluded, “He will continue to approach viewers with sincere acting in the future as well, so we ask that you give him lots of love.”

 

“Dr. Romantic” is a drama that follows the stories of realistic doctors working at a rundown hospital in the countryside. In “Dr. Romantic 3,” Kim Min Jae will be reprising his role as Park Eun Tak, a nurse with a strong sense of responsibility and a firm belief in justice.

But i think the leads will  be together in first episode because script read show that the lead will no see each other for some time:confused:

On November 10, it was confirmed that Bora will reprise her role in the upcoming “Dr. Romantic 3,” and she is set to start filming.

Bora first joined the cast of “Dr. Romantic 2” as Joo Young Mi, a third year nurse at Doldam Hospital who is quick-witted and on the ball. Joo Young Mi, whose trademark is her black horn-rimmed glasses, was greatly loved by viewers for giving vitality to the drama. As it was her first time taking on the role of a nurse, Bora put in great effort by reading relevant books, watching videos, and receiving training from actual nurses to make her portrayal realistic.

It’s official: “Dr. Romantic” is returning for its third season next month!

 

On March 10, SBS announced, “‘Dr. Romantic’ will be returning with Season 3 this April as an SBS Friday-Saturday drama.”

 

According to the network, “Dr. Romantic 3” will be taking over the time slot currently occupied by “Taxi Driver 2,” which airs on Fridays and Saturdays at 10 p.m. KST.

“Dr. Romantic” is a drama that follows the stories of realistic doctors working at a rundown hospital in the countryside. Han Suk Kyu, Ahn Hyo Seop, Lee Sung Kyung, Kim Min Jae, So Ju Yeon, Jin Kyung, Im Won Hee, Byun Woo Min, and Jung Ji Ahn have all been confirmed to be reprising their roles in the upcoming third season.
