Synopsis:

 

This drama is a romantic comedy between an AI programmer and a recording engineer. Meanwhile, Han Seo Woo

Jung Hae In as Moon Ha Won (33 years old)

He is an artificial intelligence programmer who founded the company M&H. He is very serious about his work though he seldom gets angry and is known as being a kind person.

 

Chae Soo Bin as Han Seo Woo (29 years old)

She is a classical recording engineer who has a positive and bright personality despite her family and social issues. She likes to solve math problems when she is feeling down.

Lee Ha Na as Moon Soo Ho

She is a horticulturalist Moon Soon-ho. She and Jung Hae-in’s character go way back and she’s taken care of him throughout the years, as if he were one of her gardens. 

Kim Sung Kyu as Kang In Wook

He is set to play a pianist named Kang In-wook. He’s acclaimed in musical circles for his artistry and skill, but in the wider world he’s pretty much a no-name musician.

One of the most K-Dramas on Netflix was Something in the Rain, which sees the return of star Jung Hae In on Netflix subscribers screens. Half and Half is to be directed by My Holo Love’s Lee San Yeob. The series was written by Lee Sook Yun, who also wrote the screenplay for the popular Netflix Original film Tune in for Love. The exciting new K-Drama will be driven by Guardian: The Lonely and Great God director Lee Eung Bok.

He Won, the founder, and creator of portal site M&H is an AI programmer. Despite being firm with his work, He Won is a kind-hearted and rational man that never allows himself to get angry. Optimistic by nature, classic recording engineer Han Seo Woo has no family or home to call upon bu finds comfort in solving math problems during difficult times.

Is the drama expecting to air after The Cursed? This thread seems pretty quiet for a drama that is planning to air after The Cursed. 

 

I'm just checking in since Youth Record is also planning for Mon-Tues time slot at tvN, and if this drama is following The Cursed, then it would make sense that Youth Record is going to air in end May.

@Lisse Lim Then it is probably airing in Mar. 23 or something close then. It says on Dramawiki that The Cursed will end by 3/17, so it makes sense for Half of a Half to air 3/27 right after The Cursed.

Great to see JHI in a change as a lead for Rom Com.

The two lead actors are very nice. I've only seen JHI in Prison Playbook which he was good in. Didnt care much for the other shows hes been in though. Chae Soo Bin is the cutest & charming. I'm excited to see/watch her again. Havent watched any of her recent dramas because I wasn't invested in any of the story/drama shes in since Rebel but this one sounds like it'll be good. Plus the two leads already appear as a promising duo.

tvN’s upcoming drama “A Piece of Your Mind” has unveiled its first glimpse of the chemistry between its two leads!

Helmed by the director behind the hit dramas “Familiar Wife” and “Shopping King Louie,” “A Piece of Your Mind” is a romance drama about a man who has spent years in one-sided love. Jung Hae In will star as Ha Won, a kind-hearted artificial intelligence (AI) programmer, while Chae Soo Bin will play the role of Han Seo Woo, a classical recording engineer with an optimistic mindset.

On February 13, the upcoming drama unveiled its first stills of Jung Hae In and Chae Soo Bin together in character. The newly released photos show Han Seo Woo seemingly stopped in her tracks as she watches Ha Won through a window. Unaware of Han Seo Woo’s gaze, Ha Won appears lost in his thoughts while wearing a melancholy expression, piquing both viewers’ and Han Seo Woo’s curiosity with his pensive look.

The producers of “A Piece of Your Mind” remarked, “From the very first day of filming, Jung Hae In and Chae Soo Bin created a rosy atmosphere on set with their fresh and heart-fluttering chemistry. tvN has revealed the first stills of Jung Hae In from the upcoming drama “A Piece of Your Mind.”

The drama is about an artificial intelligence programmer named Ha Won (played by Jung Hae In), who has spent years in a one-sided love and has resigned himself to a lonely life. He then meets classic recording engineer Seo Woo (played by Chae Soo Bin), who finds herself drawn to Ha Won as she watches his one-sided love from afar.

In the new stills, Jung Hae In shows his character’s charisma as both a focused career man and as a sweet man daydreaming about love.

A source from the drama said, “From the first day on set, Jung Hae In was his character Ha Won. In addition to portraying the high focus and smooth charisma of the AI programmer Ha Won, he bathed the whole set in a romantic air with his deep, warm gaze and sweet one-sided love.”
