Only Tuesday and lunch time for me. I am not going to lie, low key loving that my not using  CY bad dongseng's name and just using "leech" others are doing the same.

The actress is doing a great job to make you really dislike her. I just am soooooo ticked still for CY and really they are going to drag it out?

She is devious to take the toothbrush just in case if DNA match is needed. WOW the LOW of low. But we know that the truth will come out as leech doesn't have ANY memories. Only she has the DNA, pic and calling YD oppa.  Not enough info. We have a good amount of episodes left to cover but still upset.

 

I know this part of last episode made my tear up so much. I was just crying and loving the grandparents with Seo JIn. Awwww.

Exactly my point. This dramas purpose was to avoid becoming the standard makjang drama that every other kdrama seems to follow in the direction of. This was supposed to be an exception and they ruined it...

Wowww!! Feel so proud of its feat..

 

 

Okay..so I was a bit  hesitant to watch Sunday's episode as  it got so many backlash and left people fuming with anger .. Anyhow with low expectations , I decided to skim through the episode..But lo!!! I was surprised..If I ignore the Leech part who had few minutes of screentime, the latest episode was beautiful..This one was a rollercoaster ride...Its been quite some time since I shed so many tears for an episode of a drama..Plus there were lots of funny moments as well to balance it out..

The star of this  episode was undoubtedly Seo Jin..Just wow!! this little girl knows how to act..When she called her father meanwhile crying that her mother was in pain, I cried along. It felt like she was crying for real.. 

The reaction of everyone especially her elder sister when they heard her speak for the first time were tear-jerking moments.. Poor Seo Young.. through her I can clearly feel the pain of kids belonging to divorced parents. She may be just like any teenager on the surface but  deep inside is very understanding and considerate. She  feels that if something bad happens the reason must be her. Just hope the illness issue shouldn't drag too long. All of the kids in this show are really good actors.

I was quite angry with the Kimbap lady's stupid decision to help that leech but still I can't help but adore her .She is a good soul and doesn't deserve so much suffering.. It was lovely to see the market ladies warm up to her ,who were once her staunch critics. I teared up in that scene as well .. Especially it was nice to see Ok Ja and CY's bond..Writernim plzz don't delay much and let CY spend some happy time with her family.

 

Still how can I leave those funny moments between the Yoon Bros..These two have one of the best bromances in entire kdramaland. And to add it...Ji Won' s farewell and Jae Suk's reaction was hella funny.. I laughed so hard .

... So yup the sadon couple got caught and i can't wait to see how they will deal with it..I m sure their unni and hyung will try to tear them apart in a funny way for their own cause.....

I enjoyed the latest episode, maybe cause I was already aware of what was about to come.a.k.a.the leech becoming imposter..

I didn't ffed a single scene

But but.. I m not sure if I will be able to stop myself from skipping the leech's part in next week's episode cause I know I will be pulling my hair out due to her antiques..

 

I fully understand why everyone is frustrated  ...cause it really pains to see a beautiful drama going down the drain of cliches...So far this drama managed to entertain viewers without requiring to introduce often encountered heavy makjang dosages..We would have been happy if they continued with their unique portrayal of relationships.. And obviously the lost-sister trope is already stretched for too long. Plus there are still many things to resolve. Undoubtedly viewers will be upset due to these reasons.

 

This drama is the one which makes my weekends bright and my anticipation for its new episodes is more in comparison to other dramas that I m watching at the moment..plzz writernim do not make me change my mind and resolve this issue quickly..

 

PS: Everytime I see those Fried Chicken..my mouth starts watering and this quarantine isn't helping either..

@eLizza Yup the fried chicken porn is REAL. I am wanting some every time! Yes Seo Jin was the star for sure. I was grabbing tissues left and right. 

 

Yup the YOON bros with their ridiculous way to bring down the recycling. LOL. Very exaggerated but that is the point.

JW bonding with JS and JS being able to be  a good hyung. LOL the shock DH had when JS was crying and glad to hug JW goodbye and promising to write JW.OMG. These two from mortal enemies due to DH to thick as thieves bros. Awww.

 

Yeah story arc with Leech is still making me upset. I wish her CAMEO ended now. Seeing that the preview mom is not liking her (hello NO ONE Liked her at the market). YD I know you are sad and hurting. But I hope Leech messes up soon. YD STILL please go check out the other monks. Don't you think there is no familial resemblance ? Jeez I cannot wait to see CY and YD be reunited and realize they share many traits and are BIG hearted and generous. When CY kept saying I felt like you were my oppa. (Man all those chances MISSED she could have asked him.)

 

HG having the health situation hmmm sounds serious. JS definitely has to step up to help. So still giddy thinking of Seo Jin talking. OMG so happy she spoke, one part I knew would happen before the end of the drama.

 

I can watch Seo Jin talking scenes alot as I love her to bits. Everyone's happy expressions hearing her voice. OMG my heart.

Hello just dropped by to say hi. The default mode doesn't work for me so i am using the candy mode. Its making me hurl as its so light and pinky candy looking. Yucks.

 

I will wait for subs or recaps then before watching. Only because I won't know when to fast forward.  The fact that she intentionally deceives the family shows her morals anywat. As in she has none. But the writer could have done it differently but I guess even I expected it. Lazy writing but its a weekend drama after all. They all tend to be makjang anyway.

Luckily Ga Hee has some street smarts and smells a rat. From the preview looks like the con won't last long (unless the trolling us with that preview). On the subject of Ga Hee did they really need bring back her slimy ex husband urgh.... Poor kid thinks dad's finally showing interest in him but he's only being nice to curry favour with mum. Hope he doesn't ever find out he's hurt him enough. 

 

So glad DH JS couple have busted NH and GJ, love they didn't drag it out. They could be a good support for each other. Plus who better to help provide cover stories to the parents. Could get a a few lovely weekends away in before the parents know a thing.

Why doesn't Jae Seok just move out of his brother's apartment? He's a dentist so he should be able to afford his own place. If he did that, he wouldn't have to worry about his brother's threat to kick him out and move back in with their mother. 

 

I hope they don't drag out the scammer fake aunt storyline. I just fast-forward those scenes because I can't stand that character preying on her "brother"'s guilt.

It was really sad to see Yeong-Dal break down after meeting his "sister" he's been mourning and missing his entire life. How cruel can Yeon-Hong be to deprive him of meeting his true sister when she knows the truth? So sad. 

 

Looks like the "gang leader" of the "loan sharks" figured out her lie and will use it to blackmail her some more.  I'm putting those in quotes because this "gang" are like cartoons.

 

(Completely unrelated but the "gang leader" and Lee Jeong-Eun [Cho-Yeon] played a couple in "Tomorrow With You." Random funny thing I noticed.)

 

I'm glad Joon-Seon and his wife are getting back together. I guess all she needed from him was the gesture that he was willing to quit being a stuntman - a genuine effort to put his family first. Also, why shut down an apparently thriving company? But ALSO - why did he have to give it up at all? Why couldn't he just be the CEO and manage his team and not do the stunts himself? Am I being too practical?

 

Last thing is that the family Yeong-Dal gave Yeong-Sook to did the following things:

 

(1) Apparently hired a five-year-old girl to do housework in exchange for room and board.

(2) After she got sick, they "threw her away" on some random road.

 

I know Korea was dirt-poor after the war and things like this actually happened, but WOW.

 

So Yeon-Hong is actually not the worst person on the show. (But close.)

He recently returned from Turkey and started working at the hospital..So maybe there is not enough savings from his part.Plus if I remember correctly ,in the initial episodes ,his mother didn't want him to live  alone.

Yeah if he wants to rent a decent place he's gonna need a good chunk of key money (deposit).

@chickfactor  His choice was watch his sister starve to death some grave of the fireflies type RickRoll'D or send her some where she was guaranteed food plus it was recommended by a either a distant relative or family friend I can remember. After all he was a kid too.
