I haven't posted here in quite a long while but I do agree with the sentiment from the last couple of pages: when in doubt, #ingrocerywetrust 

 

Also, and this belief I have long held ever since the first time I went down the rabbit hole with shipping: No one else but the two people involved can absolutely be a 100% sure of what's going on between them. The percentage goes down the farther a person is from the two's inner circle (manager, closest friends, immediate family, personal aides).

 

@mamipoppins's story about her friend (and this is not necessarily to discredit or negate your friend's story ) reminds me about the story of that ahjussi guy who was an extra in TN and who claims to know insider info re the two (that they can't date). In the end, I remember how it was concluded here that he is no more credible than the next person who merely had the opportunity to see or hear things that are not otherwise available for general public consumption.

 

But see, whichever these people hear or see is just the tip of the iceberg. Unless they are with the celebrities nearly 24/7, not one of them can say for certain whether or not the two are dating.

 

Also, post-CLOY and even post-Baeksang, what could be the possible reason why we still have these things that further entice our interest in the idea that they may truly be a real couple? They can end all these speculations with a single word! But they have not done so.

I wish people would stop posting tweets from this account. They always post stories like this without any proof or info to back it up. The op has made previous statements about HBs personality that hold no truth to them, not from the view as a fan or a bystander.  The account has a lot of followers and  the tweets are fun to read but they seem to be nothing but fanfiction and wishful thinking. They are no better than those youtube accounts that claim HB and SYJ went to Paris on a date recently (total lie - covid). Please don't give them anymore clout.

adding on to this: this account likes to put themselves in the actors shoes and analyze old clips and stuff from their (op) point of view, like they are the actors themselves. It's very bias, kinda fantasy-like, and disregards the actors' actual personalities.

I stopped reading the thread  when it first came up. However, if that was true, wouldn't they have at least said they met before in the past when it came up during TN promo time. As much as I truly wanted to believe they were fated that far back in the past. However, I think they would have just been friends if they had known each other that far back. They had insecurities of being an actor and they were just starting out.  They were both too focus on their careers and eventually Binnie had to go to military. Everything happens for a reason lol.  Plus I think they would have acted differently during PIFAN  Unless they truly had forgotten about their first meeting in 2004 when it came to TN promo time.

As I mentioned, I didn't believe her (or rather I refused to believe here). Although it stung precisely because of the credibility she has (which I can't share without outing her).

 

Also- the reason why some comparisons with other people come up from time to time is because this ship needs to stand all comparisons and receipts need to be irrefutable. Aren't we all here because we saw them being really sweet, loving and attentive to each other, and that they've never done that with other people/co-stars before? And those grocery receipts certainly count as irrefutable?

Also in regards to the years before 2005, we will never know as their original threads disappeared in the crash that happened back then lol. So it will be hard to find anything from earlier 2005 lol. So we can't prove anything that really happened during their 2003-2004 years unless someone does major detective work and somehow can find stuff lol. All I know from SYJ's schedule back then when I looked at it was how busy she was working. Unless someone can find out if he had also went to Memories of A Murderer premiere. That was the one premiere I noticed back then she went to that interested me the most lol

All due respect, there is no way your random acquaintance knows more than someone in the inner circle of the actors' family/friends and teams. Not saying you're a troll or anything, but since you conveniently cannot show any receipts with respect to your source, your story is as good as fiction to be honest, especially compared to the massive number of actual Binjin receipts we've had over the past two years.

I understand what you're saying as far as not compromising the reputation or name of people who shared things with you. I mean, I, myself, I sometimes would share off the record things and ask friends to not quote me. But as far as credibility, not so much, because there's a difference between the credibility of a story as opposed to the reputation of the source.

I am surprised how many pages we are at now since I joined. I think when I first joined around 3rd week of May we were only in page 650?

2.)News reporter discussing binjin , lady reporter apparently heard somewhere they are going to get married after CLOY. She said that on national television about A Listers.(She is delusional too like us)

 

3.) Binjin wanted to work together again , they made it happen with CLOY, since they are so influential , despite their rumors they managed to star in a rom com and that too with an A Lister scriptwriter. Don't you think if they can do this , they are more than capable of preventing dispatch to reveal about them .

 

4.) Their behind the scenes. ( Discussed at length).

But it was all delusions created by millions of people around the world.

 

5.) Wrap up party couple dress-  I found this absurd when people started talking that they were dressed the same way intentionally but after Baeksang Ralph Lauren, I chose to believe it was not a coincidence, but who cares I am a crazy lady.

 

6.) Binjin were the main leads and they both together gone MIA after CLOY finale , whereas all other costars had given interviews post success.(Coincidence maybe)

 

7.)Covid donation same day , same organisation just the different branches(Maybe it was an auspicious date and all Koreans donated on the same day who knows).

 

8.)Few days before baeksang , ex y z rumors (so so fake btw)started , binnie appeared in SMART interview , a squint with an eye smile and Yejinsshi Yejinsshi for almost half of the interview , he disregarded rumors without even saying anything directly.(Binnie is also delusional)

 

9.) Baeksang- Remember Cloy press con which was live and immediately after that Kakao talk, now compare it with baeksang live show and BTS of the show.

 

Did you guys find the similarity , Binjin's behaviour during live interviews with so many cameras and unfamiliar media persons like press con and baeksang live was completely professional and their behaviour when they are only with their staffs or familiar faces like Kakao talk or BTS of baeksang is their true selves.(Watch again you all will get it, what I am talking about)

and also Mongolia airport the photos and videos has been shared here so many times.

True shippers must know about this pattern of our OTP acting (a very bad one at that) about pretending to be strangers when there are so many cameras around and immediately after that we all know what happened.

 

Ralph Lauren , perfect colour combo, stylists posts both of their couple photos respectively, their joint speech . (again coincidences)

 

10.) Baeksang few shippers were disappointed that binnie was cold, as soon as it was talked on every sns, our Yejinsshi went into liking spree  that too at midnight. She liked the post with a caption "please be together" in English ( people say that she might have not understood English, yeah sure she wrote "Always be happy" in a far better handwriting than me during calendar making and "Merry Christmas Mr.Lee" , watch the drama she was the one who wrote that, not staffs). Again she liked in Korean caption as well for people to back off. But then this is not any proof like maybe her account was hacked and the hacker posted her 2 videos back to back or Jinnie is delusional too.

 

11.)Golf tan in their present CFs (Guys it happens when you sleep on the right side of the bed , can happen to anybody not a reciept)

 

12.) Since they both donated on the same day , first Jinnie's agency revealed ,than the NGO  after few days revealed about binnie's donation.

First Jinnie put all the flowers and thanked us on insta , after few days binnie hand written letter was revealed to thank fans and he wrote on "one day in June" don't want to tell the date huh binnnie when you wrote that and with whom. See the pattern here first Jin and then bin . (Guys coincidence)

 

Interviews:

Mission pong-Binnie said something to his future self about taking rest in future as he had worked so hard for years , camera immediately pans out at Jinnie's face, just see her smile and expression over there. It's so revealing.

Couch interview- Their body language, answering for each other Jinnie answered for binnie about his role preparation and binnie answered for Jinnie whether she has learned paragliding or not.

We know whenever binnie is shy he touches his ear , now look at the question when they were asked about traveling , she said something about" it's really beneficial especially for actors" and binnie touched his ear with a poker face and said yes.

 

Press con - "They laughed it off" , I didn't expect Jinnie to be so quiet on rumours, I have watched her SITR press con , similar question and she was making fun of that rumour, she is never shy to speak on all these rumors, infact she always takes the initiative to answer first about rumours if asked directly.

Especially one negotiation interview - she joked that people wants to see her past costars as her lovers.

Look at the change in Jinnie from there to here.It was clearly a joint statement as binnie picked up the mic immediately and asked only director if he can answer first , we know he puts Son yejin first in everything whether walking or speaking but this time he didn't ask her whether she wanted to speak first .

 

Kakao talk-Channel 20 (she touches her nose whenever she lies , look at compliment interview for reference), she touched her nose after channel 20 revelation by accident and was nervous.

 

 I have left negotiation era and all the rumours like golf sightings after Negotiation, late nights stroll sightings before CLOY, same day CF, Cloy dvd not released despite huge demand etc etc. But obviously it was all our delusions and day dreams. Maybe we should also START COUNTING LEAVES AND LOOKING AT THE TREES FOR OUR RECIEPTS.

Finally joined this forum after months of lurking! Like many of you, this is my first time shipping a couple. My first time ever watching a kdrama and after finishing I had to look up SYJ and HB. Then went down the rabbit hole and watched all their interviews and whatever is avail on YT. When I saw their airport video going to Mongolia it confirmed it for me, then of course the grocery store pics it was game over. I’ve actually been to The Resort at Pelican (idk if anyone mentioned this yet) and I noticed her post on 2/4/18 on ig, I believe they’re sitting in the lobby of the hotel. And I believe that’s Sofia’s mom? I could be wrong so can someone Google the pics and confirm.

 

I love how in their interviews, their answers stays consistent. About having a family, their ideal partner, etc. They stay true to themselves. Which brings me to when HB shares how his family is “harmonious” and if he were to marry a non korean he would have to ask his parents first (please correct me if I’m wrong). Just throwing it out there, but it would seem like he would need the approval of his parents first and they seem very traditional and “strict”. In my opinion, they wouldn’t approve of someone with many scandals and SYJ hasn’t had any. He described his ideal partner and she fits it to the T. 

 

Anyway, as for now just waiting for more updates! Oh and can someone explain why and what’s the deal with them releasing CF’s same day/time? Does that mean agencies are working together?

So true. I have a lot of techy young Korean friends from 26 to 40 yrs old and they always laugh at me being a shipper. They said that i should be very Happy because they believe these two (HB/SYJ) are engaged to be married.

LOVE your recap of all the Binjin candies that have been raining in this forum! Firstly welcome to the Binjin shipping business where we are blessed with candies in abundance!

OMO!! That's a really interesting info! If what you observed is correct ie. YJ's picture with her friend (who was pregnant then) was at the Resort at Pelican. And yes, some believe/ speculated this lady is Sofia's mom.

 

With this possible connection of YJ's 2018 picture,  let my delulu mind imagine that YJ was the one who suggested this place for Binnie and herself during their LA/ US rendezvous!! She knows by then how much Binnies LOVES playing golf, and they have been spotted in SK golfing together a few times (around end 2018). They could have talked about golfing in US/ LA and she then suggested this resort! (I refuse to believe the theory that they met unplanned, or that Binnie was there on business trip -for goodness sake, he was carrying YJ's backpack on the shopping cart, pushing the cart and following her all over the supermarket!!).  This gives my shipper heart a flutter and a thump!!

Someone on twitter recently posted a screencap of SYJ in Master in the House and noticed how tanned her hands were in the scene where she was making toast for breakfast. Her Master in the House episodes were aired December 2 and 9 while I believe the SK golf sightings were around November. Now it all makes sense.
