Anyways, saw this. 3 taps from Binnie to Jinnie's hand and shoulders. Our man is trying to control his hands, eh? But still can't keep it to himself. So sweet TN Director surely saw this (he's literally in front of them) to give 99 points to Binnie and 98 points to Jinnie

@celest1al it is interesting you use the word blunt because I have always wondered about an IG posting SYJ did  dated Aug 5, 2017.  In it she is wearing her Inspector uniform from The  Negotiation and she has her arm around a person (possibly a fan whose face is covered.  Per the translation she mentions the end and she thanks and sends her love. and bye and a crying face emoji.  She then goes on to say "I'm sorry for the BLUNT ACTOR (caps mine) who can't express it"..   How accurate is the translation and who is the blunt actor she is referring to? 

 

Based on the timeline, this is clearly the end of Negotiation filming.  Did she notice that her co-star was a blunt actor?  And that he could not express it because maybe he was still in a relationship?  I wish I could read  Korean and I wish I could read between the lines.

Our poor Binnie knows that he comes off as no jam a lot of the time - that’s why he’s looking for a partner with A LOT of jam  I’ve always thought that what attracted HB to SYJ first was her talent (I’m sure he knew all along what a great actress she is but it wasn’t until he worked with her that he realized how drawn he is to her talent). Then as he got to know her, he became attracted to her fun loving and full of jam personality. Her looks are just a bonus and sort of cherry on top. IMO this (amongst other things) set a great foundation for their relationship - it goes much beyond the superficial.

 

@cloyfan Man, love how you summarized that!! Not much more to add really. I completely agree. It's awesome that SYJ sees and appreciate his hidden jam, since it only comes out with her

@HappyForLove No he did not... "I really enjoyed it/I really liked it," is a more accurate translation. I think I've seen a version of this video somewhere with better subtitles/translations. This version is not very accurate even in what he says about her!

She was referring to herself! I think she wanted to say more, but she had a hard time expressing it, so this is why she described herself in this way.

When did this place turn into a Binjin Luggage shop? LOL!! Had to laugh at all the detailed analysis of colors, sizes, soft vs hard case, wheels, and brand names of all the luggages Binjin had with them for Mongolia trip, MOTH, and HB's LA return trip.

I was munching my snacks and having a cup of coffee   as I read all your investigative work, which in the end had no conclusion LOL!!

@SHpectator  Hahahaha!! I was breathlessly following all your GIF stories of the luggage saga..... and then saw your conclusion. Same reaction - WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO SEE HERE AGAIN? 

 

Your ending conclusion was the BEST!!!  We are definitely shipping these two, cuz we are crazy enough to analyse their luggages for clues LOL!!

 

Btw, I actually think it's possible for HB to travel with and come back with 2 big suitcases. I have done that before, esp long distance holiday trips like US, where the shopping is TOP NOTCH!! You fly with almost empty suitcases and then fill them to the brim with shopping. Maybe Binjin shopped for LOTS of gifts for their friends and family?

She laughs so easily and doesn't seem self-conscious about it because she always goes all out when she laughs. This is why we see him as such a fun version of himself when he's with her... 

 

 

 @celest1al  I was as excited when I found all these videos, both the Kakao M related ones, and Binnie's old clips. Such a new revelation from old but gold receipts!  And thanks a million again for giving deeper insights to how HB described himself. I believe that he has a dorky side to him (i mean, he does comedy SO WELL!) but he is shy to express it, or his serious nature take over with people he is not familiar with. YJ becomes like a catalyst to draw that funny and dorky side of him into the open. I see that happen a lot with friends who are more introverted, they become so different when with people they love and are comfy with.

Somehow Dispacth news article sounds like refer to the issue that BINJIN will get merried after drama ended at page 31. That was on January 2th while everyone anticipate about 1st January Dispatch News. K-net discuss about it online and create a rumour and speculation about breakup and getting Merried after drama ended. Recall that time, there's an issue dispatch will reveal a dating of a big stars. Dispatch end up not announce anything that time.

In my mind, i always imagine the respectful SYJ (who probably had a crush and was very excited to work with them), keeping her professional distance from HB, probably feeling 'sigh... this hot guy but too bad he's attached, oh well...' She just carries on with what she usually does, being herself and a person the cast and crew love being around. Even the TN BTS, can see the Director and the others value her input alot. I must say she was a shining star and really lit up each scene that had her.

I've been meaning to write about this for a while, but I am an introvert with limited vocabulary. Kindly spare me and bear with me. I just need to get this one out of my chest.

 

In recent findings, HB has had an interview, on which he was asked a romantic thing that he had done, and he answered that he brought a camera to Europe to take pictures? For us normal person, what is so romantic about that? For him to mention that, I think he has his huge reason.

 

I remembered SYJ has said something about liking 'Before Sunrise' (I forgot which interview). She referred to Ethan Hawke's movie, right? Does anyone remember when did she mentioned this? (Was it before or after the possibility of Europe 2018 Encounter?) The movie itself is about a guy who met a girl on a train while vacationing in Europe. They started with a chat and later had hours of conversation before the guy has to go and catch a plane out of the country. By the end of it, something beautifil has blossomed but they both knew nothing will happen except that it had been a beautiful encounter that they will cherish upon its rememberance.

 

So put two and two together - In the summer of 2018, bringing camera across Europe to see 'a maybe' special someone at that time was not an easy feat for HB. He had filming schedule to follow. Was it a flight to catch, or hours of car ride, or maybe a train schedule to be tracked  - all with one destination in mind. Except for the filming schedule, quick getaway was truly unplanned. But he saw a chance. He double-checked everything with everyone and even with SYJ (hihi!) and he saw a chance, a chance to go and see the one who has been on his mind all these while. He didn't even know what to bring. Gift? Flower? No, too obvious, he just want to see that certain someone and catch up over meal that he has gotten used to and he remembered well during his TN days. So, he brought his camera, just in case, if the first thing SYJ asked upon arrival, 'what bring you here?'. He was eager but he was not ready to tell her yet.

 

The thing is, during that summer of 2018, they may have not spend days in Europe, but a mere precious long hours of watching movie in a cinema ( remember the shy awkward smile during popcorn exchange in that TN cinema's interview), walking on a beach, touring the city, having a dinner by the seaside etc etc before they both have to go back to their K-ent rat race world.

 

As mentioned by @cloyfan and @happyforlife above, I agree that nothing happened during TN filming except for a number of admiration gazes from HB and SYJ's charmed being thrown around generously. As someone mentioned in this forum before, SYJ knows better when it comes to K-Ent, as in - Gents' options can be vary - actresses, idols, models, presenters - fresh and young - they keep coming. When filming TN, she never expect anything other than focusing on her work. HB was already linked to another person. He himself didn't expect anything other than the chance to work with actress he respected and looked forward to have a movie with. It was just another day for both of them, except that one was intrigued by the other, and the other one was getting a bit shy and curious as why dimples kept on appearing again and again and generously given.

 

SYJ was being herself, dedicated and charmed her ways to get her ideas heard and unfold. HB was impressed, 'the pretty noona who negotiates well and brought him good food as well'. Pretty slick move from SYJ though. TN was made under tight schedule, knowing men, no matter how professional, can be cranky at times (especially when they are hungry hahah!), SYJ made sure HB and PDNim (and maybe every team members) ate well, and over meals conveyed her ideas of how she should act on certain scenes while they were discussing on the project. (ASSUMPTIONS ALERT)

 

OK. So months later after TN filming has ended. Met again for reshoot and find himself still intrigued. Then one day while filming in Europe, found out a chance has come, very narrow due to hectic schedule, but there it is, a slim 'shady' chance (hahaha! Innocent Binnie interview), so off he went to where ever she was in Europe for a day of cherishing the eye smiles again. 

 

LA getaway was planned. But in my delulu mind, Europe Summer 2018 was impromptu - his bold and daring move on whether to chase his definition of 'happy life' or let it go till may the chance comes again. His version of being romantic.

 

As for TN promotions in Aug 2018, both were shy at times, SYJ dared to be flirty and cheeky and fun, HB was all smile, dimples, gazes and stares.  Nevertheless, they were shoulder to shoulder with each other. Buddies or budding romance? Go figure.

 

So, there you go, delulu mode goes override. Sorry for the tumbling and fumbling of words, they all want to get out at the same time!

 

p/s: Go and read Before Sunrise's users reviews in IMDB and has a field day reimagining the HB and SYJ's version of Before Sunrise, going out and about somewhere some place in Europe during that summer in 2018.
