Hello I’m not really a new shipper but I’ve been here since airing of CLOY when I just loved the chemistry of the BTS of binjin But I don’t really have much to post about and have been enjoying the various members’ theories and stories about binjin  I just wanna thank the members with great stories about binjin that always perk me up and makes me feel better when I see others put down the possibility of binjin being together

Same here, been lurking since I started shipping Binjin in March but only just got my own account. Was planning on just being a silent lurker, but with the number of receipts we keep getting almost everyday, it’s hard to not jump into the discussions, while still respecting their privacy. Was wondering about the 2 Binjin private clubs as well. What is the difference between the two?

The cart's ingredients that we discuss & dissect a few times before, it's soo obvious for couple who simply stay together (Friend definitely will not share shopping cart  ). Plus, it occur in foreign country some more.

My childhood bestfriend has visited me 3x over a 7 year span here in the US. The only time we went grocery shopping is when she needed toiletries (not the case for binjin), when we stayed in a hotel, or when she stays in my place. We also shopped for snacks and wine both times which is similar to what binjin had in their cart. I also got visited by other not so close friends or just acquaintances and I would usually just meet up with them in a restaurant or take them somewhere that’s not my place. I definitely did not grocery shop with those acquaintances either.  Just basing off of this, I am inferring that BinJin had to be really close to grocery shop here in the US. They must have stayed in the same hotel or house during the trip. It was not a random meeting for sure. You don’t randomly meet someone in a grocery store and shop items that looked like you were hanging out (Snacks, wine).

The only thing i want to see in this thread is how lovely Hyun Bin and Son Ye jin developed their Camaraderie that turned out to be LOVE... How did they show their desires and eagerness to work together in a drama (bec. of LOVE)..They really really looked good  as a partner either in reel or real life. Their age, looks, accomplishments and maturity. They maybe good with other partners on screen but No one can rebut me about BINJIN when interpersonal chemistry is concerned .. They know when to behave or showy about their love. Like not all times shows bubbles and candies yet their endearment and attachment with each other transpired. With all the rumors around them about their past pairs on screen, i know they just shrugs it off. They both know how dirty tricks the film industry is..(my opinion)

Hi everyone! Been lurking here for the past few months. Well ever since I binged watched CLOY. And my goodness their chemistry is off the charts! You can’t help but fall in love with these two. Hopefully we can see more of them together!

Looking back at CLOY filming period (by looking at the CLOY thread). It is clear that FATE has been working it's magic since the beginning lol

 

August 9 was when their first TN press con/vogue shoot happen. CLOY apparently started filming in Switzerland on August 10-Sept 5 was when it ended

 

Mongolia filming was Sept 16-Sept 21* (HB flew out on SK that day. Unclear when SYJ flew out) TN period that time we know come Sept 16 they are already super close. The next day Sept 17 TN premiere to Sept 30 of when TN promo period ended. 100 days to get to SYJ Christmas Eve picture is Sept 16/if we make it Christmas day it is Sept 17. Whichever day it doesn't matter it is clear it is still going back to TN promo period  We know her picture she posted was on Switzerland - she decided to choose the one where they are together  We also know HB really loves their Mongolia scenes. What they did for his birthday or what they filmed then is unknown? lol

 

Unclear what episodes they filmed on Dec 25/Jan 1 lol. However, we now know on her birthday Jan 11 - they filmed the one step kiss. Even with a potential filming delay coming up or maybe it was before? unknown.. He still got to give her that kiss for her birthday  This is now HB's favorite scene

 

Who knows what other fated moments happened by the time filming concluded  Since we aren't clear of what they did in LA on actual specific dates, only they know if there was more fated moments for them in January  Also, what did they film on valentine's day  Things I wonder now lol

 

Now I am wondering when the soju scene filmed..

I agree completely. The only friends I’ve gone grocery shopping with are close female friends I was traveling together with and we were definitely staying in the same house/hotel. I didn’t randomly meet up with them, then go grocery shopping together. I’ve never grocery shopped with any of my close male friends. If I met up with them abroad, it would be at a restaurant or a touristy spot. Not in a grocery. 
 

I’ve tried really hard not to ship real life people. In fact, this is my first time to ship the actors playing my OTP. I usually only ship the characters. Hard as I tried, I couldn’t help it. Binjin’s chemistry on and off-screen was just too palpable! Always hoping for their happiness!!

I really love this quote. When two people developed a really strong foundation only then you can see their vulnerabilities. They become more self aware and being fully present and mindfully attentive to one  another. Perfect example BINJIN

Hello @quietreader. Welcome to the Ship and thank you for the HB condo article. What I found interesting  wasn’t the celebrity neighbours nor was I thinking of rummaging through garbage bins to invade a celeb’s privacy but rather, how beautiful the featured apartment was, as HB’s actual apartment would have a similar look and feel. How romantic!! SYJ’s home is lovely too – here’s a pic of her home that she posted in 2017 (below the pic of showroom condo). 

 

Koreans seem to love BBQ (no, it’s not HB in the pic but her friend’s hubby) and we know HB is a master griller, thus very handy that she has one in her backyard! Additionally interesting is that according to the map provided by a fellow shipper a couple of pages ago, HB and SYJ homes are a 2-minute drive from each other! Given that HB has travelled almost 6000 miles to LA for her, driving 2 minutes would be a shoo-in. I don’t know about you but my guess is that HB and SYJ spend a lot of time in each other’s home and mmm…what cozy moments they must share . 

 

The mind is a muscle. The more we discipline it, the stronger it gets. The recent vid interview with HB’s trainer gave us another peek into HB’s mindset. HB identifies a goal and he goes after it with all his might; he doesn’t give up. The trainer described HB’s the TriSet and Giant Set training regimes, which sounded like exercise programs from Hell but revealed that whilst most athletes groan or make sounds after the rigorous session to let off steam, HB is different. HB, the trainer said (quote) would “silently endure” and merely put his hand on his forehead! HB has endurance and determination and this I believe permeates into his relationship with SYJ.

 

From what we have seen of SYJ, she has exactly the same outlook. Determined and self disciplined. Aside from her dazzling career, she keeps up her fitness routine every chance she gets through the top of the range Pilates training, which explains her beauty and hot bod.  She is goal driven and no pushover. Her endurance and determination also permeates her relationship with HB.

 

What do fitness regimes have to do with BinJin shipping? Bear with me – Shippers have theories about how long BinJin have been going. Some say 3 years, others 2. Using the criteria of private time they have had to nurture this relationship, the duration could look something like this:

 

2018, June-Dec = 6months (TN promo)

2019, Jan – July = 6 months (LA to CLoY script read)

2020 mid Feb to present day = 5 months. Total = 17 months OR 23 months (if you add in 6 months of CLoY).

 

To my mind, their fitness regimes point to their strength as individuals and as a couple. They tell us that HB and SYJ know what they want and go for it. If it doesn’t accord with what they seek in life, they will not invest time and energy in it. They are near 40 and life- seasoned. They would not be frivolous about relationships. Given this length of time and that BinJin would not be lacking in people attracted to each of them, IF BinJin didn’t see a future in this relationship, they would have walked away from it by now. They would be gracious but clear about it. Yet, that’s not what we have seen and continue to see. Unending streams of candies still flow. That’s why I have faith in our couple. There is strength in the BinJin relationship.

 

To me, Covid was a plus and a minus for BinJin – a minus in terms of having to delay their announcement/marriage cuz I tend to think theirs will be a traditional wedding, mainly for the sake of their families, so that means a crowd of people and BJ would want to set a good example by not risking anyone’s health; it was a plus for BinJin because filming (and new projects?) got delayed and this provided extra private time for our couple. 17 months or 23 months isn't all that long. Let's give them some space and quiet for them to make one of the most important decisions of their lives.

 

Just LOOK at the caliber of our couple – they each have professional PR teams to look after their communications with fans but what did they do instead? She takes a home-photograph of the flowers sent to her by fans to thank them; he lifts a pen to write a personal letter on a day in June to his fans to thank them. 

 

I am in awe of this couple and deliriously happy they're in love and waiting for the ship to dock!

I found the discussion very interesting, about the subtle changes how SYJ replied the question concerning marriage. She is surely at the peak of her independence and career success, and living a full life with friends and family, with travels etc. I can totally understand the way she last answered this question ie. Aug 2018, as someone so helpfully posted here again. I agree with what @cloyfan and @jamy47 said above, and I feel the same way too. She is happy as she is, but things will change if someone right comes along. And the way she answers it does seem to hint, that she is evaluating that possibility, but he must be the right man. Cuz her life is good as it is, and for her to take that big step of change, it needs to be for someone that will add even more to her life or make it more complete. 

 

Being Binjin shippers, we are probably all romantic at hearts. That is why we yearn and dream so much for them to finally tell us that they are together. Cuz we see the receipts of all the wonderful time they have when together, and how happy and contented they are when next to each other.

 

Like what jamy and cloyfan said, no matter what you tell yourself or the plans you have for yourself, everything changes when you meet the right person, the person you want to marry and live your life with forever. I do believe this is what happened to Yejin, and also to Binnie.

@BJHope that is true! I believe in Masters in the House you do see the river briefly as well. If anything they both like to look out to the han river  The fitness video with his trainer also showed me how their workout routines are very similar. I even watched the exercises that HB does lol. I do agree. They get a lot more private time and even more quality time together because of what is happening right now. Even though we want SYJ to take on a project, I really don't think it will happen as early as one would hope unless she really wants to start another kdrama right away which I don't think she will do a drama. It will be a movie. As for HB, I don't think he can book another film/drama until he knows for certain when Bargaining can be completed. Plus we know he doesn't read scripts until after he has completed filming. So if anything they are probably going to book more CFs as of now.
