i did not find anything offensive about the edited wedding picture.  It's just wishful thinking on the part of the shipper who created it or found it. INMHO, there's nothing wrong with that.  Isn't that what we do here?  We happily do a lot of wishful thinking looking forward to that big bang.? It doesn't really harm BINJIN, does it?  Why were we so thrilled that they were walking together after the BAA ceremony.  Because that's what we were hoping for, that they ARE together  We as BINJIN shippers have one and the same goal, for them to eventually get married one day. We shippers all have the same hearts, a BINJIN shipper's heart.  We live for even the tiniest of crumbs.

 

Also one BINJIN shipper was trying to validate the 'hands under the table' receipt and was debunked by another shipper judging that it was an old issue and should not be discussed.  I understand.. but what she saw on the photo was different from what you saw. That was really offending. She was just trying to validate it. It doesn't mean that if you are a 'senior BINJIN shipper' who has been shipping here longer than others, and knows everything, you can just put down someone like that.  As a new BINJIN shipper, who is she to validate the receipt with if not with the senior shippers .That was the reason she boarded the ship, to be a part of our family.   What if these new shippers just discovered CLOY recently and was excited to search for clues or evidence about HB and YSJ. Since they just completed CLOY, they don't know much about all the receipts that senior shippers know. Remember your first time, too? How thrilling it was to look and dig for clues and evidence that HB and YSJ were really acting for real instead of reel?  How would you have felt then during your first time falling in love with CLOY ? Didn't you feel the same thrilling feeling that a receipt was indeed valid as proof? 

 

All the valid receipts that we found have been denied one after another.  Of course. Both agencies were under strict instructions to deny them. Did the denials fool us? Certainly not me. 

 

We BINJIN shippers are all in this together,  we should be SOLID,  interacting peacefully together and reminding ourselves to respect their privacy and each other.  Please be gentle and understanding.

After Baeksang: YJ has bombarded us with her gardens of flowers, her smooth armpit that brighter than one's future, her dreamy eyes, glowing skin of a woman who is in love, her healthy and toned body.

 

Son Ye Jin is beautiful, sexy, feminine and seductive. She is so womanly! No wonder why HB is whipped.

 

(She used to have more male fans than female fans, but after CLOY it seems that she has gained more young female fans thanks to her modern woman image and also become a crush of many new male fans).

Guys can you stop bringing their past denials of rumours and discourage the mood of this forum, based on that.

 

They don't need to admit their relationship when they were beginning to go out. So they denied LA rumours. They want to know each other well and decide whether they were compatible to each other. And she is not that kind of woman who goes out publicly. Why rush and admit it only to get bad reputation, in case if they break up in short time?

 

Yes, they denied rumours during cloy. Do you remember Song Joong gi revealing divorce news during Arthdal Chronicles. His reputation spoiled and because of that his drama, cast and crew had a hard time? Since then, people producing new drama were very careful about any news being revealed about the stars in drama. So actors are bound to contracts and can't reveal any kinds of news about them, otherwise they have to pay big compensation. What do you expect of our cloy couple? Denying is the safest way instead of putting everyone around them at stake. I was not a big follower of song couple. These were the things I read before a long time. So I don't remember much.

 

Now liking insta photos created another rumours. She won't give clarification for these things. It's her IG account and she can say that she was also in it. It's not like LA situation.

 

Here people are shipping based on their instincts and proof. Atleast we know that they are dating for sure. And we can enjoy that. But we are not God to write their destiny together. And we can't force them to end up with each other. Finally, it's individual preference.

 

Still my heart says, no one can make HB as happy as SYJ. And no one can keep her calm and grounded like HB. So if he accept her, he is lucky. If she accept him, she is lucky. Its a 50 - 50 win-win situation. They are perfect for each other and having a lot of things similar to each other. It's rare to see such a perfect couple in real life. That's why we want them to end up together. 

 

But for now they look happy together and I love shipping them because there is no decision made by them yetand it makes me happy.

 

During cloy months we were shipping happily without giving much thought to anything. We were shipping crazily like they will end up for sure. Now there are lot of speculations, negative posts in this forum. Take it lightly and enjoy it. I think accepting whatever decision they take is the only safe way to ship without getting your heart hurt.You are not going to lose anything. So stop spoiling the mood of this forum.

Thank you but the only reason they got confused  is because of the entrants of our co-shippers that were not party to our threads before. Like the others, i was also thinking when you will appear and lo and behold, you are back.

 

To all,

 

I want to share why i always feel that SYJ and HB need us. 

 

First, we agree that they gave us clues, candies,smiles to believe that they are together and that our ship is safely sailing. However, not all of us are contented with those given but wants real confirmation statements to counter the denials. Please, we do not want confirmation that they are dating anymore because that is given and i thought that what we are waiting for is the confirmation that they will consummate their love in marriage. We also agree that as responsible shippers, we will not force them to make the formal announcements of both dating and the date when they will get engaged and marry each other. This is  their decision to make because as mature and top stars in Korea, they know best the consequences of their decision and risks they have to take. I am not Korean but my friend who is working here and runs a big multinational company educates me on their culture. We just have to be contented with what is given and continue our sail by inspiring each other.

 

As i have told you, i did a thorough research on our OTP. i re-iterate again that i firmly believe that they like each other even before 2014 of the PIFAN event. Like a lot of you, i also believe they are destined to be together. If you read all interviews of SYJ  and HB in the past  they mention similarities as follows:

1.) They both love acting. 

2.) They believe in Love  and it is number one with HB very clear because he said he grew up in a harmonious family. For SYJ, she believes in it but since she is from Daegu, she thinks she is not expressive physically. She refers to a characteristic of people from Daegu. However, when she was asked what if she were to find the man of her life, she said i will give everything to love him. For me , she is more reserved when it comes to love. She fears getting hurt.

3.) At certain points in their lives in their early thirties and or late twenties, there were times they felt that acting or being actors was just a job and caused them uncertainties. HB decided to go for the mandatory military training to reflect on himself and come out clear in his life's direction. SYJ on the otherhand just mentioned that she was imagining whether she will retire by mid thirties and settle down. They were both reflective in their mid-thirties and both accepted that they are more mature and it is a GOOD FEELING for both.

4.) They both believe in marriage. HB is very clear on what he wants. SYJ, during interviews ,hopes to be married  before 40 and fears to be late.

5.)They both experience sadness in their private life. HB mentioned some uncertainties that he cannot discuss with anyone unless his partner will be coming from the same discipline as he. He said then it will remain in himself or resolve it alone. On the otherhand, SYJ mentioned that maybe everyone sees her as very cool being an actress but she is sometimes sad in her private life. She just insinuated that she has some thoughts that make her sad.

6.) HB had only 2 confirmed  relationship ; one in his 20s and 1 in his 30s. Others were rumours. He never nor did i read that he mentioned to anyone personally that he is close to  another actress as a friend before.

SYJ confirmed even during the SITR presscon that she had relationships but maybe not in the entertainment world because she personally denied the other two celebrities that were rumoured to be her lovers. 

7.) They both want someone who is KIND; someone who can understand their job as actors ; someone who can be there for him as expressed by HB which is the same meaning as someone who can listen to her and have discussions with wit as expressed by SYJ. They also want someone that they are comfortable with.

8.) This last in my knowledge is an awesome one: They both do not know if they have been really in love in the past. HB mentioned this in an interview in SG as mentioned by one HB fan during the first 30 pages of this forum and SYJ mentioned it during the SITR presscon. In this forum, our co-shippers were asking if they talked about their answers because it is similar. What a coincidence! They  were not close yet at that time.

 

 

Now let us think of what happened and see if the similarities above will be fulfilled by their relationship and what was confirmed:

 

1.) They were in the TN together because it was a DELIBERATE plan of the rookie Director to cast them. Planning was 4 yrs for the script/story/casting. (My thoughts... What in the world was at the back of the director wanting HB and SYJ together).The story was for them intentionally. 

2.) They both accepted and one of their reasons is the participation of the other. Meaning, a character transformation which was challenging for both  but also because the other star there is SYJ for HB and HB for SYJ. A confirmation that they admire each other before TN.

3.) HB found SYJ very interesting on how she prepared to take on her role in TN. He discovers that SYJ is grateful (despite her status as an actress) ; happy energy and the smiling eyes. SYJ mentioned that he found him reserved but had this charm in him as they were promoting the TN movie. My understanding is that since they almost debut together in the entertainment world, they had a lot in common    and therefore had done sharing stories and found similar experiences. They both mentioned this in separate interviews.I have backtracked all interviews that i can find in their past but when praising their co stars it was never as personal as how they talk about each other. For me, in this instance, they found the other who can understand and relate to their uncertainties; fears. I remember, i repeated all interviews during the TN time . At the presscon, HB was using honorific sentences but SYJ was independently herself. Not girly but very confident. When ask by MC at the start, how was it to work with SYJ, HB mentioned that SYJ was like her other seniors and co-stars who were cooperative and supportive. I said to myself, HB is very formal. This was done 8/08/2018. Come 9/03/2018 interviews, HB totally changed to an admiring one; warming up to SYJ ; smiling and laughing . A behaviour that even to the awe and surprise of the solid HB fan at the beginning of this forum who admitted that they witnessed HB being happy with SYJ.

4.) HB admitted that he was inspired by SYJ and learns a lot from her . He even admires her by using terms like "innate capability" and he openly says this to the media.

5.) Even if i only like CLOY and i was never fun of K-dramas and never watched one before, but , because i researched so much about them, it is only in CLOY up to the BAEKSANG awards did i notice that SYJ became feminine and ladylike... dependentThey on HB in so many subtle ways. Even the way she answered the interviews in CLOY were so done in a ladylike manner. HB also changed her.

6) They have the same interests... Variety of food, alcohol limitations, golf, swimming, travel , love for animals, staying home, same coffee Americano; nature . Maybe you can add some.

7) HB openly admitted that he and SYJ are close even from the TN era. I have not encountered an interview where SYJ was asked directly but during interviews in the CLOY  era, reporters were mentioning that they know that she and HB are close friends. She does not comment on those statements.

8) The Baeksang awards confirmed that they are still warm together. The liking of Yeginhand on many IG posts with HB confirms they are good together.

 

They complement each other. They complete each other. They are comfortable with each other. They like to eat together. 

They play golf together. They comfort each other...look at the BTSs.

 

I think they were made for each other. I love the FMV with the song 'When God made you...He must have been thinking about me..."

 

Therefore, do we still need them to accept that they are dating? NO. Leave that decision to them . That is theirs to make. 

 

What we should wish/pray for is that they fulfill their plans of getting married before 40 and we hope , marry each other! Again, let us not go to their IG and say Please get married. No. Be a responsible shipper. Let them decide when and how they will inform us. 

 

To answer the Q: Why do they need us?

 

They are big stars and they have large fandom especially now after CLOY. In Korea, the fans can affect their success and failure in the Entertainment Industry. I think they were very bold to take on CLOY with their rumours of dating.However, as mentioned in a show with many reporters, many fans as well as reporters in Korea and outside Korea support their relationship . Since they both love their careers, they want to make sure we support them. The TIKTOK award proved that many HB fans like SYJ for him because they saw him happy. They started to backtrack on SYJ films. Many SYJ fans became HB fans too. Then the international CLOY fans. With US, they can even promote the success of K_drama worldwide which was the wish of SYJ two years ago while accepting the Best Actress award for SITR. For HB , i have watched him do fan meetings and you can feel his sincerity. I cannot compare with SYJ as i have not encountered one. However, during interviews you can see/feel her humility; kindness and sincerity.I also can see in SYJ a belief in her chosen Faith. I admire her for it because i also believe.

 

So, BINJIN Nation, Let us be considerate to them and set them free . We are sailing nicely and have Faith that we will dock soon. When we have Faith as a BINJIN Nation, MIRACLES HAPPEN.

Oh, I did not look at the denials from this perspective. Point taken I followed SSC, and it really broke my heart after learning of their divorce. It's true how everyone surrounding SJK and SJK himself suffered because of the news. That is why contracts nowadays, according to a news article, include a divorce clause. If actors broke the agreement, they are required to pay thrice their salary. In relation to BinJin and CLOY, this can also be the reason behind the denials when the show was still airing.
