As for the other person you mentioned, that was the start where he wanted more privacy in a relationship (hence no picture) but he still confirmed relationship too early. That is why after he doesn't take anymore private questions since 2018. That is all I am going to talk about that situation. I will work on translating some of the more noteworthy parts in the videos regarding CLOY's popularity in Japan! For now, I'll translate a part of the 2nd video (not word for word though): 

These are the 3 reasons for CLOY's popularity in Japan: 

1. The rise of Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin's popularity. They love them both, and find HB to very manly and SYJ to be very beautiful. 
2. Due to being quarantined at home, interest has piqued due to clips/videos online/social media, resulting in an increase in subscriptions (ie Netflix). 
3. The realistic portrayal of North Korea has made many curious.
