I feel like it’s been ages since I’m in here. So many posts to read omg! Maybe in few week’s time I’ll be able to read everything lol.

 

Re. the votes, am still keeping my fingers crossed because we don’t know what the exact number is in the end, if the votes are counted. Bots and all. But I really appreciate everyone’s efforts. Wowwww!!! I literally followed the device rules as well because I don’t want to risk anything on our OTP! 

 

Re. Baeksang winners, my predictions were per before, and they go for technicalities so it’s hard. But yeah, no matter what happens, just don’t hate one another if the results aren’t what you hope for. Instead celebrate the fact that the drama and our OTP is being recognized for their work via the nominations. That itself is an honour. We should never forget that.

 

As for whether HB’s attending or not, no matter what, I respect his decision. He is filming right now, and I think I talked before in my last few posts on productions cost and manpower and even then I’m unsure if at all he is attending. Being dutiful person he is, he will respect the production team’s decision for the day. Who knows, our dashing Sangnamja will be there, flashing his devastating dimples? Those dimples are a killer (to me, and maybe to the other half of the OTP. Heck, to anyone!) Hahahahaha.

 

Nevertheless, his new ads are amazing, and that adorkable interview might sustain us for a short time hehehe. I was caught by surprise over the content as I really thought it would be pure endorsement questions, and at most on PH and current issues of the world ie Covid-19. Oh well, whatever rocks HB’s boat I guess hehehe. Am sure the questions are filtered beforehand and not impromptu Qs.

 

Oh ya, one more thing - I think we also need to be fair to our fellow posters. They have jobs and reputation to keep, and whatever that they have kindly shared in this thread should be treated with utmost respect and be grateful with whatever info there are  Besides, in the end, no one has control over anything and everything especially re. our OTP so let things play by itself (and preferably OTP too, deals with it themselves as in themselves only) and we all enjoy the fun wherever there are. I personally prefer surprises as it adds more excitement in our lives. Life is so boring when you know the spoilers to the drama already.

I still don’t understand why her agency does not accept fan rice (it includes real rice (50kg/ 100kg...) and big banners with her photos on).

 

They could just put them in their office, but these banners are quite big.

Dispatch is probably the only media which BinJin will share their relationship to (if any).

 

We all just do speculations here.

I agree with @Elle R with the recent  COVID 19.  Rice is considered to be a high commodity. Staple food that might be on shortages. They are being mindful of the pandemic.

@girlpepper @Elle R good point you made... if i were the fan group and still possible to save those rejected fan rice gifts maybe they can just donate it to charity coz god knows how many millions of ppl are starving right now.. and moving forward maybe they can continue donating to charitable institutions in the name syj (or hb for that matter) instead of sending expensive gifts to them which their management may opt to not accept for whatever reason.. anyway these 2 angels have generous hearts themselves and have done their own share of charities so im sure they'd be as happy knowing their fans are "paying it forward" to others... just a thought..

 

on the off chance HB doesnt show up at baeksang, ugh im kinda bummed already but still hoping against hope HB can do something about it and be SYJ's knight in shining tuxedo. Im sure if she asked him to be her escort/seatmate (doing my best to avoid using the word date), it'll take a helluvah lotta strength to pass up on that, because really, who says no to Seri, the picky-princess-slash-2020-most-beautiful-woman who happens to be celebrating 2 decades of k-ent awesomeness and quite possibly cap it with a daesang award? or the privilege to share the stage with her and thank their stans, in case CLOY gets lucky and bags Baesang's Best Drama (in addition to their popularity award). He'd surely wanna be there. Not going to lie, I will be really really disappointed if HB doesn't make it for Baeksang award. It's been awhile since we last saw both HB and SYJ live appearance which was the CLOY wrap-up party (all the CF bts etc doesn't count). CLOY is probably the most significant and impactful work for both HB and SYJ in the last 5 years or even 10 years. For HB, it's his 3rd big wave of Hallyu rise after MNIKSS and SG. So I do hope he makes it and that his filming crew will be understanding. After all it is only for 1 evening, and he's in Seoul, not even overseas filming. Circle of prayers everyone!! Binjin at Baeksang together!!

 

@ElectricHearts  Oh yeah, happy birthday! Hope it's still 3rd June where you are.

 

@hallyu  About the fan rice thingy, maybe it was too heavy and takes a lot of work for them to distribute all the rice? Something simpler and lighter may be easier for SYJ and her agency to handle. Also, the fans can really choose to donate the rice or the money collected to a charity, esp with the Covid19 situation, a lot of people need help.

 

About what @eLizza updated about postings here getting reposted at social media. I have seen it many many many times on tweeter, Insta and FB. Sometimes they cut and paste the whole post and give credit to Soompi forum. Sometimes they only cut and paste without the OP name. Many times they don't really credit where it comes from, though if asked they may still state the source. So yeah, with 300+ followers of this thread, and maybe only 10-15% posting here, majority are lurkers. Binjin is so popular and hot now, so many shippers look for clues and hints everywhere, and this forum gathers ALL these hints, speculations, analysis etc in one place. So it's a rich source of info for english-literate shippers. I guess the other big info area is chinese chat forums like Weibo, but those tend to stay mainly in chinese social media.

 

So guys and gals, we really gotta ship responsibly - this was defined by a few people here a few pages back, and I thot those were excellent definitions. Just don't speculate anything that harms Binjin, their reputation, morals, conduct, and that is based on the very conservative expectations of SK society (which is even more conservative than most other Asian societies, what more Western culture).

Yes, honestly speaking, I would also be disappointed if HB wont attend the Baesang Awards tomorrow but prayers do wonders...we wait and we pray desperately that we see both our OTP. It has been a long while that we have seen both, together in one space and breathing in the same space.

It could be nothing but after I realized, then I was like I better reread my previous posts here and delete certain stuff in case in causes future speculation.
