Those photos of Pavilions were taken in Pavilions, Newport Coast. If you see in google map, the location is not far from LA. In addition, the location is close to Pelican Hill Golf Club. Assuming that they played golf together in LA, I guess they stayed at The Resort at Pelican Hill nearby which offers luxurious villa.

now , it's all clear, my husband also a golfer,their outfit kind remind me something. Btw, first of all when I saw their picture in grocery store, what I noticed was their clothes, my thought was then, are they just did some sport together, their outfit like that just a golfer outfit.

I haven’t been around much - and will only be going in when I feel like it. I had to keep myself going and moving forward with my life because too much immersions in this shopping / shipping / loving / supporting thingies is not good for my personal being. It’s good while it’s there, but at a certain point I had to get on to real life matters. 

 

I decided to post today because I sense that the thread is at times very YJ-centric (well, from what I understand, most of you are fans of her first). Those who are HB fans... aren’t that many here. IDK maybe it’s just me thinking this way IDK. And I usually don’t make this sort of posts but I think it’s about time for me to say it. Once and for all.

 

HB has always been active in his projects every year. There’s one movie, one drama - or two movies, then a couple of CFs (he will have few CFs per year) and if time permits, he will have fanmeet as well. Regardless whatever that’s been going on in his life.

 

As for YJ, she will have a movie or two each year, dramas in few years. And her working pace has been noticeably slower since last year.

 

I know, some might be joking about how HB is taking as many jobs he can because he wants to ~support YJ but personally, I am not really keen on reading things like this. As if his only purpose in life is to support her or something. He’s always been busy working and taking projects, and post-CLOY, he’s even in more demand  than ever. Am not surprised if one day, even Hollywood will come calling his name (now of course not, with the pandemic looming and even Oscars for next year will be delayed due to no movie releases). He’s on a roll now and I am so happy for him, career-wise. Am sad reading some posts here which seems to undermine him, who has been working on this industry for so long. 

 

For YJ, am not certain as I don’t follow her career closely but I sense that maybe she will be on a long hiatus, looking at how things are. Am not gonna use the other assumptions that some of you might have speculated - I just think she might opt for it after working for so long. If she wants to come back, it will not be anytime soon - and the roles will change. She can no longer play the role of Nation’s First Love or melo roles with significant amount of crying. Maybe an antagonist role or whatever one day. But none of those tried and tested tricks. Different ones.

 

And I don’t think anyone here should be reminded as to the number of successes that both of them have in the past, awards-wise or whatever because to me, honestly it is the thing of the past. A longggg past. Which can be easily googled if one wants to know more about it. It’s pretty tiring to see time and again same pattern of posts being posted again and again, and I was made to understand that the thread has also received warnings over this. Honestly if such posts are to be posted, just post it at the artist’s individual thread. Let’s us keep this thread as current as possible.

 

Re. Net worth etc etc etc... I am not saying anything but there are probably other things which are kept away from the general public and they might end up having similar net worth somehow. Not everything is disclosed to the public so God knows. Regardless of that, it’s theirs. Am not questioning anything on that and I hope we stop comparing these as well.

 

Regardless whatever the assumptions there are, I’d rather keep my assessment as realistic and current as possible. Might differ than others, but it is all mine.

 

As for the two of them, I have nothing much to say but to wish them all the best. Am not gonna revisit the past because the present is what matters most to me. But feel free to discuss and evaluate them responsibly, ya. I keep on reminding myself that no matter what we all say or do, the decision is in their own hands in the end. Let them decide it themselves and us as fans, will accept it. Cherish whatever they had experienced together throughout the years, and pray for the best. 

 

Their lives, their own respective times. Let them be.

HB was at par with KSH during Hyde JM times in terms of earnings per episode. Kim Soo Hyun went to military and is yet to make a comeback.So this made me believe that HB is not second highest at the moment but at the top..Sure we don't know his fees for CLOY and it is just an assumption comparing his last two projects .

 

After CLOY,his acting fees definitely gonna reach sky high.. What about buying another building Daepyonim..so that we get another candy in the form of a Dispatch article..

 I read in some article that hyun bin was paid minimum about 100.000$ per episode in CLOY  and on top of that he receives royalties from netflix (150.000$) for every overseas streaming. So he hit a jackpot with CLOY. He will get at least 2-3 mil out of it. 

I think it's normal that they got so many CF and sponsorship offers. Every drama is like a showcase for actors for future endorsments. That's where the (easy) money is and every celebrity dreams about receiving such offers. 

 

Had some random thoughts today... It's going to be 3 years since HB's last relationship. Has he ever been single for this much time?  with all the travelling for filming and staying in hotels some bonding time between them two must have happened.

I think SYJ deserves a good rest before she could start working on a new project. She was hospitalized during filming of CLOY.

Hi guys first time shipper here!  I don't know how it works but I decided to create an account, hoping that by interacting on this forum it will somehow ease my obsession with binjin because they're like virus that seriously infected me after watching cloy.

 

Honestly, I'm not really into kdramas because I feel like people only watch it because of "oppas" (which I'm still confused what it means lol). I used to have this assumption that every kdrama is about romance and I'm not really into that kind of genre. But on February, CLOY is just everywhere in my country and the feedback that I've seen on SNS got me curious about this drama. So one day I hit episode 1 on Netflix, surprisingly finished all episodes within 2 days (even though I work on graveyard shift) and now I don't know what happened to me!  I'm definitely under binjin spell because my quarantine routine only consists of rewatching cloy, checking soompi, ig, twitter and watching videos that are only related to them. It's on repeat!! I know something is wrong with me but I'm really glad I found this forum, knowing I'm not the only makes me feel I'm still normal lol  Btw, I love everyone's analysis here. Never fails to feed my binjin soul! 

 

Now I'm just doing countdown til Baeksang. I know that the competition is really tough but, I have high hopes for them. CLOY is the most natural and realistic drama that I've ever seen. Everything is on point about this drama. Storytelling, script, acting, music, cinematography etc. It is very well done that is why it is a masterpiece! The judges should recognize how it became a global pandemic. I'm desperately praying our binjin will attend Baeksang together and will bring home those awards. After that I'm also hoping for a huge announcement that will make all binjin shippers go GAGA then maybe we can go back to our normal selves!

Hi Lemontree, I am very familiar with Ralphs & Pavilions (have both supermarkets nearby).  All the details (shopping cart, the aisles, the shelves, the displays, the rack of JUSTIN wines, etc)  are exactly the same as those at my local Ralphs, I recognized it as soon as I saw their photos at that time.

 

The hospital scene in CLOY:  ‘Ralphs’ was one of most searched entries on Seri’s phone.

Agree. I personally don’t care which supermarket/location they went to; the main point was they went shopping in a foreign country.

Here we go again Citron, I’m honesty so annoyed with seeing all these show-off postings from some YeJin fans (even though I am also her fan) especially in here. I really tried to overlook it without commenting, but it pops up so often- I see it every time I visit. Even if she is your bias, be mindful and considerate of Binnie’s fans; this is a joint thread for both of them.

Whether it’s Ralph’s or Pavilion shouldn’t really matter. The fact that they went grocery shopping in LA is what makes this ship sail on. However, I give one point to Ralph’s as it was mentioned as top searches in one of the episodes. Of all names, why Ralph’s? Art imitating life...

Why do I get the feeling that some HB’s fans or SYJ’s fans here are quite sensitive and like to point out that one is better than the other?

 

This is a Binjin shipping forum. We shouldn’t undermine either of them and support BOTH equally because we love them both. Individually they are already formidable, so together they are THE POWER COUPLE. 

 

Don’t make any comparisons between the two but also don’t get angry just because we try to inject some humour into the conversations. For example when we joked and called Hyun Bin cow hyun bin that doesn’t mean that we don’t acknowledge his hard work in the past, that he’s only working hard because of Ye Jin. 

 

I think it’s a good thing that he works hard as it shows that he is a responsible man. All of us here are Binjin shippers so we want them to get married and have a family, so HB is showing that he will be a good provider for his family. 

 

Both of them have said in separate interviews previously that they want get married before 40. That time has come now, they have met each other and at a ripe age to start a family after all the hard work they put into their crafts. If they are serious in starting a family, then I think SYJ will not have any projects for a while and concentrate on family life while her children are young.  She is the type of person who puts in 100% effort into whatever she’s doing, so if she has a family she will put her family first until such time that she’s satisfied she can return to work without neglecting her family. She may only do photoshoots or cfs as they will not take that much time away from her family. Plus I believe she and HB have a very healthy relationship, they have a good understanding of each other, support each other and they discuss things for mutual benefits. So they will work out between them how to maintain their work-life balance once they become a family. 

 

Let’s focus on shipping our Binjin because that’s why we are all here for and let’s have fun while we’re at it, keep injecting some lively humour to this forum so that this forum can continue to be our sanctuary from the terrible situation that we are all facing at the moment ie covid 19.  After all laughter is the best medicine

Hey fellow shipper! After chugging down 4 bottles of beer tonight and lurking since February, I have summoned my strength and signed up to this forum.

 

For me the two most vital actions I've seen from BinJin and made me decide to join this ship are:

 

1. The grocery shopping picture. A man will never travel across the sea to do grocery shopping with a woman. It's plain sight, you have to be romantically involved to do such thing.

 

2. The last and winning action for me is the BTS in the hospital bed. You never, like NEVER EVER EVER grab a man's head and sniff his hair just because you're close friend with him. No matter how close you are with a guy friend, you will draw boundaries when it comes to physical contact. I can attest to this. 

 

With that being said. I will go back to my 5th bottle of beer. Happy shipping! 

 

PS: I'm vouching for the booze during our virtual party when these two get married!

I agree, I for one have watched CLOY only once since Feb. I didnt watch it again for the reason that I have already seen what I need to see. After CLOY, I moved on to other kdramas and other intl series in the likes of Fauda, Itaewon, Stranger Things, some Chinese dramas, etc. Still I remain a shipper because of the amazing chemistry of the two leads.

 

Some senior shippers here might feel concerned of the repetitive topics and questions of newbies but these are extraordinary times, being cooped inside the house with all sorts of feels, some escape to this forum to ease boredom and anxiety. Im sure we would not be as obsessive with BinJin as we are now if we have normal lives. Having said that, for the newbies, pls be mindful of the rules here.

 

We will always hope for the best between our OTP. If ever there is a slim chance our prayers for them is not answered, I am sure all of us here will be sad but we move on. We always do.

I’ve seen a certain actress and actor who got revealed dating eachother but because of the actor is not as popular as the actress,her fans are hating on him and to me that’s really disgusting.

I like to ask you, so what if SYJ has done 31 projects and is Korea’s box office queen and is already at the top of her game? How is it relevant to shippers like myself who is wishing for a long lasting and fulfilling marriage between these 2 people? Does it make her a better person with good values and abundance of love and maturity who will be a great life partner or marriage partner? 
 

Several shippers had earlier nicely suggested to post about individual achievements in their individual thread and not to post such content in the shipper thread. To be frank, I am not interested to read your content above about SYJ in this thread. If I am interested, I would go to SYJ’s thread which is very well maintained instead to read such content. 
 

When I come to this shipper thread, what I hope to find out is if there are any recent sightings of both of them together or if we are going to see them walk the red carpet together at Baeksang Awards, you know couple things....not bragging about individual professional achievements or wealth. Would sincerely appreciate if you can refrain from posting such content about individual achievements or wealth comparisons here.
