- She confirms that she loves playing games a lot and really hates losing. She will keep playing until she wins! 

- She used to be very shy, but after working and meeting with a lot of people in a long time, she’s become more open minded and isn’t scared to be looked at anymore.

- She loves flowers and arranged all flowers in the house by herself. (This makes me think about the ending scene of CLOY ❤️)

- She likes planning. She prefers going on trip fully prepared and really enjoying it than going without plan.

- She’s been with the same agency from her debut until now (20 years), been coming to the same gym for more than 10 years and going to the same hairdresser for more than 16 years. 
- She’s got the TRX license for about 9 years already!

 

After watching this show, I must say that she’s such a precious person. She can make you flutter the moment she appears with her eye smile (yes yes HB-ssi, I know I shouldn’t be fooled by that). She makes you respect her, but at the same time she’s really friendly, fun and nice. She’s also humble, modest and sweet. 
 

It’s episode 46 and 47 if anyone is interested. You can google these full english subbed episodes easily.

 

 

After CLOY, i watched the ffg Son YeJin's films: Be with you, A moment to remember, the Classic, Spellbound, the Last Princess,  saw a liitle of the Pirates and Truth Beneath and have a lot still to watch.She really was very courageous in taking those roles esp with My wife got Married , for her who was single and young then. She really is an Excellent Actress!  Then i watched Master in the House 1st Anniv episode 46. It was very funny esp the pilates sessions and the games.  Son Ye Jin is so pretty, friendly, down to earth. She looks really happy. This is about Dec 2018, months after TN and just days before the January 2019 Grocery Item.in LA .She was radiant in this show.  Do you know that all the surprises there were made by Son Ye Jin? You could see also the admiration and respect from for her by Lee Sang Yoon and Lee Seiung Gi. Hope she can have a drama with Lee Sang Yoon (a very good dtama actor also) so we can see some Little Heoky jealousy. The more you get to know her, the more respect and admiration you will have for her. She's really Korea's first love. She even gave the 4 hosts a photo opp in the same swing where she and JWS had in AMTR.  AMTR is the most loved film of all time in SK. Such beautiful and unforgettable story like CLOY, our UF TV Drama. She also have very caring friends who would send food trucks in during filming. This tell us that she is valued and  loved because she also values and nurtures relationships even with friends.  Such a loving  soul. No wonder, HB is regretful to have known her late. But late could be the perfect time esp now where YJ had already achieved that success and might be considering now to take time for her personal life.

I also realized after all the BTS, interviews and all, that between HB and YJ, i am convinced with what TN director said, HB liked her more. The guy's smitten! HB will find no one as with a  beautiful personality and character as YeJin. And we saw how Yejin brings out the best in him, and how she made him smile, laugh  and be the person that he usually wont show orhers. We saw and witness their intimate moments even as short as their intent gazing, tugging of coats, head grabbing, hand holding.  I hope they enjoy their time together and continue to give each other joy.

Yes, it's normal. In Korea, they spent more time in promoting films than in their dramas. Usually they get 2 months in promoting their movies. Korean drama only promotes a little. There could have other reasons why aside from the Covid outbreak they didn't had an interview after their successful drama, I would have love that. 

 

Ah thank you very much for your explanation, @Helena and @Ri Se Ri   It does make me feel a bit relief. I guess like @Choi sam sook  said, no news is good news. 

I hope HB's shoot for Bargaining goes smoothly and wishing that our lovely SYJ might show public support too, to tease us the shippers.. hehe... food truck? maybe? one can only hope!

Movies and TV dramas are very different; a TV Drama would air every week while a 2-hour movie consists of many promotional activities spread out over a period of time (just like all those TN events we saw) starting weeks before its release to its theatrical run.

There are usually post drama interviews, but our leads turned them down (so we only got stuffs on the supporting cast afterwards).  

 

@Helena all your inputs are very much valuable and appreciated. Just wanted to ask if HB or YJ granted a post TV drama interview in their almost 20 years of career? If so..in what drama projects?

Yes. YJ did a few interviews after SITR ended. She even mentioned HB in the interviews talking about shooting TN with him.

HB also had had a lot of interviews when Secret Garden wrapped up just because he would be enlisted shortly after the work.

 

It was quite rare for the two leads to reject all the post TV drama interviews when the drama itself received so much recognition and praise, not to mention CLOY was even record-breaking.

Nicely said. From the timeline given , it also appear that they spent more private time together in 2019 coz both only did 1 project which was CLOY.

Annyeong chingus! I tried to watch a new kdrama today but I couldn't finish the first 20 minutes. I'm still thinking about CLOY so I end up watching it again hahaha (maybe 6 month rule is real )

 

It's the first time I knew about that search terms used in their drama (since I can't read Hangul), I was wondering about their reactions when they saw/read that. Maybe there are more hints in the drama like the number 22...

Yeah I hoped to see more of their interview after CLOY finished airing, but perhaps it's partly because of the virus so they rejected all the post TV drama interviews? Or maybe the NK/SK conflict was still kind of ongoing back then? I'm not sure...

@eLizza Yeah it is PG-13 as mentioned earlier and HB's tongue can be seem sticking into YJ's mouth close up as seen in the billbill video so they have to edit all those in weird angles.  My pervy mind is hoping they are doing all their retake kiss scenes, and the missing bed scenes and shower scenes at YJ's place  They deserve a break and recharge and cuddling with each other after long hours and long months of filming in the cold weather!

I think both YJ and HB are nice people in real life and serious about their jobs so I grew to love them as professional actors.  They are also helpful to the new actors and always seeking to take on challenging roles. Other stars have also made good comments about them too.  I know because in SITR his costar mentioned he is never this happy filming in a drama.. I'm thinking because he was filming with YJ and she can spread positivity around her. Plus the crew was nice.  Her positivity seems contagious. Look how she opened up shy HB and now HB is being more funny and relaxed in his interviews. Some HB fan on facebook said HB used to be less outgoing and he was shy to shake hands with his fans back then and now he's more open up to fans and gave more fan services, and another person commented maybe because he became happier after he met YJ.. but I cannot confirm if this statement is true because I don't know HB pre negotiation times (before 2017) if any long term HB fans could confirm it that would be great (by DM is good too)

my theory on BinJin not having interviews or more appearances after CLOY is because they know what everyone wants to know: "are they in-love/together/engaged?"

 

My opinion is that they can't give us, fans/shippers, an UN-honest answer. Their agencies did the denials. As we all have theorized already, they're not ready yet to share it to us. Maybe when they talk, they are there already  So, we better brace ourselves haha.

Adding onto this, it is typically used between same age people. This is what "same age friends" is (BinJin ). People of different ages who call each other chingus either don't care about hierarchy or are really close and the term is used affectionately (the older person is the one that gives consent). Usually oppa/unnie is used when addressing an older person. If you try to call someone older than you your chingu when they are not extremely close to you, you will likely offend them because of how important seniority is.

We have the same.thought. That's the only possible answer since I'm certain they would like to thank their supporters for the huge success of CLOY. Both of them appreciate their fans & since it is the 1st KDrama that they achieved the highest viewership on their respective careers, they would love to convey their appreciation through interview. 

 

But having interviewed meant that BIG question will be asked. Unlike in CLoY press conference, they can no longer dodge the question this time. I'm sure after the strong chemistry in CLoY, YT/TVN interviews & BTS, the interviewer's questions will be more direct. They are also thirsty for answer, just like us.

 

So, for me, the fact that they don't have any interviews after CLoY is a good thing.  I believe after the shooting of HB's movie Bargaining, it won't be showing yet this year. And correct me if I'm wrong - HB don't have any other projects after Bargaining. Same with YJ. No project lined up this year. I'd like to believe that is something planned, for both of them to focus on the very important personal stuff! Hopefully, the event we all are waiting for will happen Q3 to Q4 of this year! 

 

Let's pray desperately. In grocery, we always trust!
