i dont mean to be a downer but i saw comments which said that the sweetness in behind the scenes could be all for show

somebody gave the example of 1:55 in this video where binnie immediately changed his expression after the sweet scene of them on the hospital bed 

what do you guys think (at the end of the day its still #ingrocerywetrust but i need reassurance hahah)

If was really just for the show HB would’ve had behaved the same way in all his past romantic projects. And we all had see how distance from his previous partners he was. The only one that he was sweeter like he’s with Yejin it was his past gf (we all know who she’s , I’ll not mention her name since this isn’t important).

This kind of ppl will always exist, the haters always will gonna left those kind of comments. They did the same when HB and SYJ was doing “The Negotiation” promotions, they said that was just to catch more viewers, and they couldn’t explain why SYJ and HB was doing grocery shopping together in another country in the other side of the world if was just for entertainment (‘cause the promotions for the movie had already ended wayyyy bf4).

For  me in fact, this bts of them was one the most sweetest and pleasure to watch : HB even did a dirty joke about the bed, and he wanted to interlocking his hands with Yejin, and when she accepted , was clearly in his face how amused and happy he was (he couldn’t hide and control his facial expressions)even the director was laughing by them being all lovey dovey in front of everyone without getting embarrassed by it or without caring by the others on that room.

At the 1:55 that u mentioned I didn’t saw nothing wrong with his face expression, he even smiled to Yejin , he just put a “serious face” when he looked to the crew that was on set, he didn’t directed that look for her. And on the next frame he was even teasing Yejin asking her why she was laughing (and on the end of the video both were talking freely and happily to each other).

Serious, seems like every single day in this forum page is another drama day.We can’t have one day of peace.

Pls forgot and ignore those hate comments ‘cause they’re so unhappy with their lives that they need to left other ppl unhappy as well to feeling better.

We already have so much actions from them, it’s clearly as the day that they have chemistry and mutual attraction, so just focus on the positives things pls . Ppl need to stop to try to create drama were isn’t exist.

I think because dating rumor aside, HB really admires SYJ's acting skills which he has been talking about that so many times. He doesn't praise her out of politeness, he truly means it. Her acting capability and chemistry kinda upgrade his acting to another level. Tbh, though I know that HB is a great actor but when I watch MOTA, Hyde Jykell Me again after watching CLOY, I realize there was almost no chemistry between him and previous actresses, only acting techniques. So I think when HB act with SYJ in Negotiation he was fascinated how talented SYJ is, but it is just an action movie and he wants more. Then came CLOY. They apparently fell in love along the way but even if they're not dating, I think HB still desires for a talented partner like SYJ.

Hi there. I don't think it's for show. They're trying to get the media off their backs for dating rumors remember? Their agencies have been hell bent on making their rumors go away with denials. 

 

Tbh they could've done a lot of things for show. In SYJ's past PC, she held hands with her co-star for pictures, even encouraging dating questions, asking her co-star if he likes her. They're doing the complete opposite of fanservice.

I agree, I don't see anything wrong with them changing expression. I myself can never be 100% smiling, being sweet and happy around my bf, so why should they. Being gorgeous they are, HB and SYJ are still human. And most importantly, the BTS capture moment when they are working, not on a date. If you have a mirror at your working desk, you will realize how ugly and stressful you are while working

It's already 3.30am and CLOY is on repeat at my place. And I have this urge to post... and it's gna be a long one...

 

A bit about me: 

• in my early 30s
• don't watch K-drama for some years already... (only watch TVBs lol but not all of them)
• know HB and SYJ (but can't really recall if I ever watched any of their dramas. I heard of HB's Secret Garden but never watched, I think I watched SYJ's dramas/movies - but I'm not quite sure either... But I think I know SYJ more than HB. This is just to prove that they are famous/popular actor and actress)

On to CLOY:

• my sister made me watch CLOY with her because her best friend made her to LOL (all because of HB). We were watching ep 5... and I got hooked
• (please bear in mind that I started watching ep 5 without knowing any of the rumors or the 2 main leads's chemistry or their previous movie together)
• this CLOY really is sth so special and dear to me. The love that both HB and SYJ expressed in this movie is just pure BEAUTIFUL. It touched my memory/childhood/feeling emotionally. 

(I might sound broken here but please bear with me) Idk how but both HB & SYJ have made this whole drama so damn beautiful and touching. I know a lot of ppl might be crying over their love scenes but I was actually laughing and smiling more. They made me rekindle the feeling I had when I liked s.o. They made me remember how excited I was when falling in love... That feeling of mine was so real. It rarely happened to me like this as I normally refused to watch K-dramas due to it being unrealistic (I mean everything is just so perfect that we all know it actually does not happen in real life). Even I tried, nothing really hit me and kept me watching. I must say the love they show/express through CLOY is just so beautiful (the whole story is just so clicked together) and it touches my heart so dearly. I'm not sure if many feels like me but this is just so special. 

 

So I started digging further... then rewatched CLOY. After learning about their dating rumors, it's funny that I feel every deep convo between RJH and YSR is just like a real convo between 2 ppl with acting careers: their good-bye, their promises to each other that they would be missed, and their wish of staying, starting a family with twins. I feel like it's their real wishes and they were speaking for themselves. I watched the ways they looked at each other and when they kissed... I know a lot would call it's 'acting'... but I saw SYJ's deep breaths that drove me crazy to think she was really nervous every time she kissed HB. The kiss when they met again in Switzerland also gave me the butterflies feeling and the way SYJ held on HB's coat tightly. And when the drone was up high, I felt like they kissed again lol.

 

The last beautiful scene when the two were standing while SYJ was holding the flowers: I couldn't help but keep thinking why there was a need of RJH kissed YSR... you know when RJH held her close and she was all lovely besides him and her head was on his chest, I think that picture was very complete. If any, RJH could have kissed on YSR's forehead and held her even closer and tighter. But no, it was again a direct kiss. A kiss from RJH that made me think he was attracted and couldn't help but to kiss her... This scene really gives me a blast. 

 

The thumb... tbh, I was so surprised when I was not the only one. While watching CLOY, I saw RJH's moving thumb... I was a bit s-u-r-p-r-i-s-e-d... I only thought if you held hands strong, that would also express a lot... but no, there was that thumb rubbing. OK, I accepted the rings gift scene and the last scene as those moments were close-ups, but there was that scene in YSR's house (where RJH was wearing white t-shirt and sitting on the bed and YSR was wearing black and standing) that I saw RJH was rubbing his thumb... T_____T whenever I have this rubbing thumb on my partner's hand, I'm always aware of such action and the feeling I have towards my partners (for me it's not sth you do without knowing). 

 

Their chemistry... I'm not gna say that this is the greatest chemistry ever out of all K-dramas (and BTS) as I know it won't do everyone justice. But I'm gna say this chemistry gives the best (real) feeling to the audience (at least for me). It's crazy to be able to see/experience their love is growing throughout 16 eps (I mean between RJH and YSR). Both HB and SYJ have done it so perfectly.  

 

I have watched all their interviews, yes. And to say that HB doesn't look at other actresses is a wrong statement, he did look at and smile at other actresses (as a courtesy/manner of an actor) but to be at his most relaxed, I think I could only see in those interviews with SYJ, omg his smile/laugh is so charming and sexy. Only certain ppl can bring out the best of certain ppl (if you know what I mean)... I did watch a bit of the Jenga interview with PSH, I could only see HB focused only at the game while PSH seemed like she stole a lot of glances at him. In interviews, I also saw that he would turn to look at the actress then quickly turned away back to the MCs/audience/reporters. But his fixed looks on SYJ were just so damn cute that I kept giggling while watching them. To think an introvert person like HB did all poses on those IG posts and being cheeky in those CLOY interviews is unimaginable.

 

If an actor/actress wishes to work with certain actors/actresses, I always think they only need to say 'I hope that we will have an opportunity to work together in a future project'. But HB - no, he detailed his reason and his wish to be able to act in the same space with SYJ and all... and this was mentioned so many times in all interviews. I admire his desire/wish and I'm  glad it came with CLOY.

 

I really love the BTS in which SYJ was running towards HB but he was looking at the LSY, then she was hitting on him... OMG that smile of HB was really relaxing and gorgeous, I could only think of 'happiness' to name it (there was a screenshot of that on IG somewhere lol). I love those pics that SYJ was wearing the purple cardigan and hugging HB tightly, their eyes and their smiles were everything to me. I knew HB was handsome and all (in a lot of ppl's eyes) but I could only realize it recently when he was with SYJ, they both looks damn hot, sexy and gorgeous together...

 

I can confirm that I'm on this ship... and 100% of me wish/hope that they are together with a marriage in mind. But we never know... please be together... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE...

It can been seen both ways. The BTS (for all dramas) could be:

Exhibit A: All for show, to promote and stir up more popularity/ viewers to watch the drama. 

 

Exhibit B: Edit carefully so only limited information are shown to the viewers. 

 

So, it's all up to the editors to show what they want the viewers to see.  For the CLOY case, I would say it's more leaning towards exhibit B in consideration that both HB and SYJ are the top of the A list actors and it is not necessary for them to act in BTS as well. The rumors already stirred up at the beginning of the show, they wouldn't add up any speculations from the public about their relationship to overshadow the drama. That's how I would read the scenario.

They are great actors and they had great success with other dramas or movies before CLOY. 

 

BUT
 

I find them more attractive as a couple. And I am not attracted to them individually. How weird!?
I love CLOY more than anything that they starred in before, even when their acting might not be the best they have had.

Their appearances NOW just suit each other so much that I cannot imagine anyone else be their partner in reel or real life.

When one or two people tell you a story, it might not be true. But when thousands of people are telling the same story that BinJin is real, it’s gotta be true. Right?
