In the topic of the denials , it’s another old story brought up again . It’s funny to me people find a way of using now the denials in order to “accuse” him of lying when they have been using the denials for months to support and excuse their prerogative. 
 

a. This is not our relationship , can I say it again ? We don’t know and we will never know when they confessed to each other etc , we live in 2021 now , stop associate drama land fiction to real life , real life couples are different and dating is different.

Hello, this is binjinotp! It's January 3rd but I'm still going through it! I am ecstatic at the same time emotional seeing everyone's reactions post-confirmation! BINJIN nation, how are we feeling?  I know you've all said this but omg I wanna say it with you guys, too-- OUR SHIP HAS DOCKED (and it's headed for the altar [the next level dock] for sure) 

 

 

Delurking as I am missing everyone here! I hope y'all have resurrected and are coping after the 3 heart attacks we got last January 1, 2021.  For a while I thought the thread would reach 2000 pages and we still won't get the confirmation but OMG OMG OMG, we got it, fam! Best day by far, best New Year ever!  

 

 

Pardon my late post, as like everyone, it still hasn't sunk in yet.. I'm still trying to gather myself (apologies in advance for the current state of my grammar & composition ) to find the right words. I'm still all over the place, still not functioning properly. All I've been doing, if not to keyboard smash, is to go through the posts here, then on IG, then on Twitter, then to Google for the countless articles, cry for a bit, then go back here, then repeat huhu. Everything makes even more sense. All the photos and videos, the interviews and articles, the intelligent & witty posts, interpretations, realizations, and sleuthing presented here-- everything BINJIN- and CLOY-related hits differently now.    And it's not yet over! It's bound to get even better. I can see more and more new interpretations and perspectives now that BINJIN IS REAL REAL. I hope I'd be able to contribute something soon but for now, please keep 'em coming! I really love it here! 

 

Ahhh! It is official. Hyun Bin is Son Ye Jin's boyfriend. Son Ye Jin is Hyun Bin's girlfriend. BINJIN CONFIRMED. And it is very satisfying to type it, see it, and say it. The best part? Our girl declared her love publicly in the sweetest, most genuine way for the very first time and it is so, so worth it! Her "I am grateful to have met a good person and I will work hard to tend the relationship with care" for Hyun Bin though.. Yejinssi!!! You made our hearts flutter   Gosh, I have never been happier for two people I do not personally know!!! Congratulations again to our OTP, and of course, to all of us here. Our OTP's win is our win, too! Now BINJIN nation friendmeet when? 2) CLOY filming period. It is completely naive and ridiculous to think they would confirm during the filming and airing of their drama? That's a huge NOPE in their industry and would have ruined their reputation. The last denial was harsh because it had to be for people to hopefully move on. And it came from their agencies whose job it is to protect them and their image.

 

The only time HB and SYJ personally addressed it (during DEC 2019 presscon) they were smiling, joking and carefully answered in a way that didnt directly deny anything so it would not come back to bite them later.  All anyone had to do was read between the lines. They wanted privacy and not to distract attention from the hard work of their drama, that's all. 

 

More reporters are weighing in. Basically everyone assumes marriage is around the corner.

Besides already realizing they were a couple by Baeksang and I really was never wrong back then lol. When Hyun Bin made this comment in Esquire Korea.. I knew he was dating  Just stuff he had done back then lol.. Or in general he really does a lot of stuff at night .. Even though yes golf is a whole day date

Actually I read back on her old interview during My Wife Got Married about dating -  she said she is honest in her relationships and how strong relationships are important to her. So that is why she chose to admit then too because she really believes in their relationship. I mean technically she was leaving hints on her instagram account since June with all the likes back then too. She probably knew it was also not the right time because HB is also very busy then. It is better to admit when you are much further along in the relationship. Plus we know how private she is about her relationships. However we could slowly tell she was opening up more because she was posting on her instagram a lot since June. When he came back from Jordan, she started posting less again or only work related stuff

Hi all, just wanted to get some of my thoughts down but I’m sure many people have said the same things already 
 

It’s unfortunate to see some people bash HB and his character for his previous denials about his relationship with SYJ...

 

Although we are fans, we only see a tiny slice of their life through the media. Celebrities do not owe us anything. They have a right to their privacy. Some will say, “That’s the price of fame and being a celebrity!” Is it really? Just because they are celebrities does that mean they MUST tell us every detail regarding their private relationships?

 

I understand fan service and I know HB was previously relatively quick to confirm relationships but maybe this time he prioritized SYJ and her feelings about confirming their relationship. As we know, she’s never confirmed any relationships publicly in 20 years which obvious tells me she strongly guards and values her privacy. If HB didn’t publicly confirm because SYJ was not ready, I think this speaks positively to his character more than anything. It shows me he respects SYJ and wants to protect her and what they share together.

 

This reminds a little bit about when my husband and I had our baby. We deliberately decided for the first couple hours after our baby was born to not let any of our family and friends know. Why? Because we knew when we shared the news the visits and the messages and all the other noise would start. We wanted the first few precious moments to just be our little family and no one else. Best decision ever. Those couple hours we shared will forever only be between us.

 

For all we know, this 8 month dating time line could be legit. Maybe their love story was like the slow burn of a kdrama where they were both close friends with a strong attraction to each other but they were scared to cross that boundary. Or maybe HB was trying hard to pursue her during that time and SYJ was unsure. Maybe SYJ or HB were dating people that weren’t in the kentertainment industry before their own romantic relationship began. Or maybe they were already dating during TN! My point is, we will never know 100% of the full story (of any story for that matter). Nor should anyone feel they are entitled to it.

Also, I honestly think HB and SYJ and the other celebrities they have been with or were previously shipped with are all totally cool and chill with each other. All this beef people think everyone has with each other usually isn’t true.

HB has never denied his relationship with SYJ. 

1. On LA rumor, did Vast deny?  I thought they just stated the fact that BJ didn't travel together and HB didn't meet YJ parent. They didn't travel together.  They went to vacation separately but arrived at the same destination, same time   They gave some unconvincing explanation on the grocery shopping, similar to Yoon Seri's secretary explanation in Cloy, go around the bush

2.  Cloy filming period.  The agency denied it to protect their actors.  I don't see anything wrong about it.  A relationship between 2 opposite leads will shadow their project, doesn't matter which country.  

 

Why they assumed that HB talked openly about previous relationship because he wanted?  Have it ever occurred to them HB did because the other person wanted?  He is so goooood looking. It was hard to believe he has dated only 3 times.  It seems to me that people are so closed minded and stuck in the past to believe that a man should have a say in relationship, doesn't matter if the other partner doesn't want to public their relationship or not.  HB is a private person.  He won't public if he doesn't have to.  And we can see that how much he is into SYJ to protect her.

Hello. I see a few of us going to the BK thread and posting. I know it is difficult to accept what they write and we can't stand the injustice of it. I have a hard time holding myself back too. But I hope you will consider this:

 

1. They cannot be reasoned with. You won't be able to convince them of anything no matter how logical or sincere you are. So don't waste your effort and time.
2. They were already standing down and were poking holes in their own theories/crumbs. Now they are revved up again, by us!
3. They are right to say that we are doing BJ Nation a disservice by posting there. We have made them seem important to us. They are not.

 

If you think you cannot control yourself, then don't visit that thread. Why make yourself frustrated? You're never going to like what you read there.

I hope that BJ shippers will give HB and YJ privacy that they need as we are not 100% sure that they (YJ) were willing to public their relationship now or forced to do so after being caught by Dispatch. She only made that post to explain to her fans because their photos were revealed and they will be accused of lying if they deny the relationship for the 4th time and get married this year. This twitter account yejinarm is a Korean. Rain and KTH were caught by Dispatch after only 3 months of dating and most of Korean couples were caught by them.

 

The following Korean reporter is also not sure if BJ must admit the relationship due to stronger evidence from D or not. He also hope BJ gets married soon as a public relationship also means more pressure.

@faserunThe video edit by @bpwinces!is the absolute best and I cried buckets when she decided to take down her YT Channel for personal reasons.  Her 101 Reasons video was my daily go-to to feed my shipper soul, with Soompi being my daily happy pill.  I was pleasantly surprised to learn she was an early shipper on this forum as with another YT favorite itsmelalah.

 

Have been binge watching CLOY for the nth time but this time with the knowledge and full conviction that BinJin is for real.  Much as we always know they were, validation brings it to a new high, a much different level of joy! As my dear friend and co-shipper @Beadharmonytold me , we don't need to eat hopia anymore!  The question YSR's mom asked RJH asked can finally be answered (It is more the world asking HB "How long have you been dating"?)  Whether we agree with the 8 month time line is immaterial, what is important is the confirmation from the agencies and most important of all, the acknowledgement from our Queen herself.  What is most admirable about her post is that she could have shown a picture of the two of them, instead she shows a floral arrangement given to her by fans,  Showing a photo of them would have taken away from the message (the line "she met a good man" always brings tears to my eyes).  Nothing is lost--- message is clear.., This is her gift to us.  She was always the guarded one between the two of them- as he always was the one who wore his heart on his sleeve (with his stares and interview quotes, even TN director noting it!). 

 

I would like to point out the diversity of this ship, many members whom I have had the pleasure of knowing, albeit not face to face.  I would like to send a special shout out to @Angelfish. She first caught my eye as she also like me used her real name (we Boomers are so naive so as to use our real names).  That time she was sad because the HB Seasons Greeting calendar was sold out.  I DM'ed her and found out she was an HB stan more than she was BInJin shipper.  We talked and I even convinced her to join The Space.  I also convinced her that better than being an HB stan, being BinJin shipper brings a lot more joy! It didn't take long or a lot for me to do so,  Sandi is now the biggest BinJin advocate, she was front and center during voting time and even DM'ed one of the biggest HB stan who started that hateful hashtag campaign (ItsnotHimIhate...) and hopefully put them in their place.  Sandi, it is a pleasure knowing you and being your co-shipper.  I know your love for our OTP will know no boundaries.  HB is great but HB and SYJ is magic, nothing is comparable!

This is so lovely. I'm someone who assumes that pretty much all celebrities are in relationships at any given moment of time (ie just because it isn't publicly declared doesn't mean it isn't happening--your oppa is not single and waiting for you). At some point I guess it becomes difficult to hide (especially for those who go the full route and get married), but I think that people should be private for as long as possible because of this very thing. Actors don't owe us anything but a good performance. And like any normal person, they need to work out their relationships without a third party in the way. That said, though, when a couple IS ready to open up and be public, it's also very real and human for others to feel incredibly happy for them and want to send warmth and congratulations to them. And that is nice, too. From one human to another--we just want the best for each other.

I've been a Kdrama fan for a while and have seen my share of fan and shipper wars. It makes me sad sometimes to see fans bash each other and each other's biases when in reality, the industry is small, and these people are likely friends. It must make them sad to see their fans bash their friends and their friends' fans. In matters of dating--these people actually in real life KNOW each other. I am sure they are well aware of who is dating who long before the public is. The fan drama is really not necessary. 

 

Now I think I'm going to go continue my rewatch of CLOY, which I started before the announcement came out (I was already admiring their natural chemistry anyway, and while the news is delightful, it's not exactly a bolt from the blue, lol. It's all there... )
