BinJin don’t seem that narcissistic that they need to collect meaningless trophies to put on their shelves. Even HB Space fan club donated on his birthday.

 

I can see from your reply you don’t understand my point of view. And there is no way I can explain it. Probably because of our different upbringing, age, part of the world we live in.  As a fellow human being of this world, we should do whatever we can to lessen someone’s else suffering especially during this pandemic, rather than making a corporation rich. So rather than using the money to buy an award, use it to donate in their names.

When AAA voting was announced, there were no buying of hearts and everyone was working hard trying to collect hearts..Some Ahjummas even said that they would have paid for it instead of watching ads and playing games..

 

Now came in APAN...here u can buy hearts or simply collect them.. Students ofcourse having no money, they are just watching ads and working really hard to collect hearts..And here it seemed that we have a good chance at winning.

 

 

I respect ur opinion about the wasting of money to be ethically wrong ...But you could have said that instead of wasting money why not just watch ads, play games and get them these awards..

Don't get me wrong okay, but I remember u discouraging people about another voting..(i don't remember which one to be exact).. Now that particular one didn't involve any money matter..and still you had the same attitude that people shouldn't waste their times in these voting things..I m sorry to say but this is how fan culture works..Who wouldn't want their bias to succeed??.. Also, It is not necessary for you to be an active fan...  you can silently support them by abstaining from these votings and polls, but why chide others who want only happiness and more recognition for Binjin ...and they are even willing to do the hardwork ..

Remember if we all thought in that way during BAA, then no popularity award for Binjin and they wouldn't even have attended .Also, who can forget their speech..They were so much overwhelmed by their fans and thanked them heartily.

Again you could have simply asked people to work hard without wasting money but what you did was to call her selfish and this award show a trash ,as if tomorrow if Binjin  happen to walk the red carpet, you won't feel giddy. Binjin may not like it if their fans spend money for APAN, but they would not have problem with their fans working hard and collecting hearts . Son Ye Jin even liked an AAA post where the OP asked people to vote for her . 

 

I know people have difference in opinion due to age gap,diff region, etc but instead of scolding them , the mature ones can simply guide the youngsters with better words.

I have my own personal reservation against a popularity award that requires fans to spend money so they can vote but I have to agree with this. If there is anything we learned in the past months about Binjin it's that they are aware of what their fans are up to and are genuinely appreciative of their fans' efforts. APAN may not be as prestigious as Baeksang but it's still a recognition of their work and its impact on fans. Son Ye Jin has received best actress awards from most of the award-giving bodies in SK (other than APAN coincidentally) and Hyun Bin has a Baeksang Daesang but the heartfelt sincerity in their speeches last June was particularly striking. Many people wrote off CLOY as a flop even before it premiered because of what they thought was a silly premise and then got shut out of most domestic awards that it seems like a fitting recognition of Binjin's and the cast and crew's efforts for them to win a most popular award from the fans themselves.

I really appreciate everyone's effort to give Hyun bin and Ye Jin an award in AAA and APAN. I hope we see the "sponsorship" thing in a positive light. Let's not discredit anyone's effort and money like they could have used it on another thing or another way. We all have a different way in coping up in this pandemic and if some use their money on something they would be happy about, that is totally not a waste of money. As for me, I wasn't really into the two awards especially the one which requires spending money. But I respect those who really spends money to give BinJin an award.

Just dropping by to say hello to everyone especially to those who were here during BAA. Reading through the comments I reminisced what we've been through. The ahjumma in us prevailed over other voters who are young and were rooting for idols. The younger ones here were kind enough to guide us, together with those shippers who actively promoted in Twitter and Instagram.

 

Who would have thought that we who hate TikTok would be able to download and use the app actively. Others even bribed their friends and relatives just to install and vote for our OTP. Who would have thought that ahjummas who usually sleep early would pull an all nighter just to monitor the votes and results. Who would have thought that we who only rely on subtitles when watching K-Dramas would stand by and watch the entire BAA ceremony without understanding any word that they said. We've done all these for the love of BinJin. And the best thing is that all our efforts had paid off. It was even acknowledged by them.

 

We've seen BinJin giving those glances and subtle smiles, together on stage giving each of their speech, and they've even granted a backstage interview holding one trophy. 

 

I hope we continue to support BinJin in whatever way we can. Hoping to see them in APAN with BAA v2.0. Fighting!

I am an ahjumma and I did try watching ads and collected hearts to vote in the Checholgang app. All for the love of BinJin.

 

Come Idol app, I can buy hearts and I did just that and abandoned the other app.

 

I have some money to spend for voting.. but I am not diligent enough. 

 

My point is, you do you but please don't invalidate others' efforts for BinJin. 

 

The only one to be blamed is thissssss voting creator who sucks our money coz they know fans ARE WILLING.. and I succumbed to the evil. All for the love of BinJin. 

 

IF they win and attend, we are the receiving ends of their latest movement and that surely makes us happy.

Hi Binjin Shippers!

I am so excited to share an old receipt of Binjin chemistry. Not sure if anyone have made this connection before, but I've just discovered it for myself and want to share with everyone!

 

This is from way back in Pifan 2014 where both SYJ and HB received the Producers Award. It was the first time that Binjin formally met in an event (HB recall this was the 1st time they met but YJ had forgotten haha!). I think everyone here also remember that we didn't see much interaction between them at Pifan 2014, at least not from the videos and pictures we have seen. HB seemed rather shy, and YJ was wearing that super sexy low cut dress (with the safety pin lol). I think they might have shared a few polite words but we didn't see a lot of interaction. I've always suspected that HB was too shy to look at YJ directly for too long cuz of her sexy dress, especially the neckline, LOL!! Also they were not familiar with each other during that time.

 

With all that background, there is this ONE single picture that showed them looking at each other and laughing/ smiling happily together on stage during Pifan 2014, and this is one of my FAVORITE pix of them at the event, and in fact one of my FAV Binjin pix ever. There was just that chemistry there and it surprised me since they seem to have minimal interaction at the event.

 

And this is the picture!!!

I've always wondered WHAT HAPPENED here? Was this photoshopped?

Why did they look so happy as if they shared a joke or humour that no one else knew?

They even have close eye contact!

 

 

 

Well, I finally found out WHY!! The video below was recently posted and shared on twitter. YJ was making her speech, and HB was politely smiling and listening, but mostly looking at the audience. But after YJ finished, it seems she forgot about the translator and must have started walking away! When she realised her mistake, she started laughing and looked at HB, and THAT WAS WHEN THE MAGIC HAPPENED!! That shared humour, the eye contact, that CHEMISTRY!! They were so CUTE TOGETHER then, though they were not close friends yet. 

 

 

 

Here's the moment in the video, at 1:06 onwards, which is the exact same as the Binjin picture above. I wish we can find the video which showed both of them together in one frame as per the picture.

 

 

 

In Conclusion, that Binjin Chemistry, Binjin Humour, was there all along!! I am so glad they met again in 2017 for The Negotiation and rediscovered that shared humour and chemistry that even they didn't realise they had back in 2014 when they first met.

@kimeon_I thought I was reading my post and I realized I have not posted yet.  It is easier for me to pay than go through all the efforts of collecting hearts and what not.  I ended up paying for highest bundle so I can just click and click.  while I agree to the point of the poster that bought votes should not matter, but this is a fandom.  Unlike politics, where votes should not and cannot be bought, here you can do anything you want to show support. We all have our own way of showing it and we all have our opinion about it.

 

  Let those of us who can pay, do so, Many probably already do donate to charity and I buy the products they endorse (tell me about it, I even have the Body Luv pillow).  

 

Thank you to all the young ones who inspire older ones that we can do anything and everything for our OTP.  As BAA has shown us the reward is worth all that effort.

My take is serious actors care more about their craft and the recognition from their peers/governing bodies than a popularity/most beautiful/etc. awards. A best actress/actor award is the goal.

 

What did you expect them to say when they got the popularity award? That they don’t want it or appreciate it? No one would be that stupid.

 

i apologize if you and anyone else perceive my words are harsh but it is the truth - all these other non-acting awards are actually for us the fans.  The best way to show support for them is to purchase the products they advertise, as it generates more commercial opportunities and increase their future fees.

Disclaimer first: Not aiming at any users regarding this voting topic.

 

During Baeksang period there’s also disagreement about this popularity awards among shippers and solo stans over at Weibo. They think that it’s useless and it’s a degradation to BinJin. But I thought having a popularity award is not too bad since it shows that they have the demands from fans. And of course our competitors make us angst and we want to prove them wrong. 

 

So after they attended and awarded, tons of pictures, videos came out and we were all very happy and swooning over those candies. 
 

And after 3 months, the same thing happened with APAN award. And I suddenly have thoughts as a sponsoring voter.

 “hmm those people who disagree on the Baeksang voting, did they swoon over the materials that was achieved by our hard work?”

”why am I working so hard/paying to let BinJin win and if they really win, those unsupportive stans are enjoying candies based on my hardwork/money”

 

Anyway my thoughts regarding this sponsorship is it’s your own choice and no one can judge unless you steal or cheat those money.
