Haters gonna hate anyway. All naysayers about media play, fans services are so disrespectful towards an A-lister top notch actor or actress. Reel is not real is not relevant to antis who claimed this. After all, they might forget HyunBin's past relationships with their bias also started from reel to real. What more with so many intimate and loving scenes. It's normal for two people easily fall in love. 

Binjin stories is different. Yes it might started from reel to real too which everyone in fact whole world can see. The only different is, there's no SINGLE INTIMACY OR LOVING scenes, yet both of them admired each other and loudly mentioned to the world they wanted to meet again in MELODRAMA or ROMCOM projects. And the close relationship continues. Which I find its rarely happened in any film industry. No need to waste our precious times explaining every single things to others. Ignore and just enjoy the great moments that both HB and YJ willing to share with the world. They knew whatever it is, they've got huge support and love from the entire universe. 

Let's ignore the antis.

I don't know much but MAMA seems to be a prestigious award ceremony for singers, kpop groups .

Anddddd Here I am by Yerin Baek is nominated in the Ost Category....

(It is one my most fav OST in CLOY...)

There were so many hit Osts this year sung by artists with a bigggg fandom..But Here I m was really popular in Korea and did wonders on k-charts..CLOY fever was not a joke..

Also , I know our competitors are strong and we may not have much of a chance but being nominated itself is a big thing..

Being long-exposed to American films, living in a multi-cultural family, and having to help preview films before we watch them with grandchildren and cousins, I appreciate the vast difference in how romantic feelings and connection, closeness and intimacy can be conveyed. The majority of this film's audience surely felt the growing connection, the fear and uncertainty around that connection, and the tension due to recognition of cultural differences between the protagonists. The appeal of this movie is indeed global and it will last for years to come.

@Peony @bin-jin@BinJinBestI too read about the three piece suit so I watched the CLoy scene again and indeed it was a three piece suit, just a different tie.  Whether it is the same suit (the pants were a little too long in my opinion, but I guess I was the only one who noticed because all eyes were focused on how handsome and dashing he looked) or a similar suit we don't know.  

 

What we know is that a similar suit was picked out by YSR for RHJ in one of the most memorable scenes of CLoy.  It is also a Tom Ford suit as confirmed by his Fashion account on IG.

 

It brings me back to the burgundy suit he wore at the Amado CF.  Very reminiscent of the first Zegna outfit he wore on that same CLoy scene.  Same one that YSR picked out.

 

This may very well be coincidences- and could be disregarded but once you see it, you cannot help but wonder.. Is this HB also giving us hints?  

 

@BeadharmonyI too am wondering if there was a party for him afterwards as he was rushing to leave.  My delulu mind told me the bow to GHJ was him telling her "See you at the party later".

they replayed the video messages recorded by past winners. So SYJ's video message was shown at the ceremony. Although it was already released earlier on SNS, it was on their instagram account before the ceremony. So we had already known she recorded a message before the ceremony.

 

Also HB has always loved to wear sports brands lol. I assume his closest is filled with all sports brands just he might own UA more now.. He was already wearing UA back then too. He just mixed it with his nike brand wear lol. Also trainer Yoon and the rest of the guys like Gong Yoo all wear UA brand too.

 

 

Also I am still amazed how much HB was bowing after he accepted his award. Like even had to acknowledge Gong Hyo Jin as well on the way back to his seat. I keep replaying it. It reminds me of PIFAN before he went up to the stage he had to bow at people too but then he bow briefly in SYJ's direction and it made her turn back and look who he was bowing at LOL

Does anyone know if HB and SYJ didn't chat much with each other at PIFAN 2014? Was he dating someone at the time? Or maybe award shows with cameras around aren't really the time and place for casual chats, I don't know.  That may be one of the first public occasions where they spent any extended time in proximity to each other, right?  But they did seem like strangers or at least quite formal with each other.  Just curious, cause if I were HB and SYJ was sitting next to me looking so beautiful, I'd want to chat.  He did seem interested in her as an actress even before TN, and vice versa. 

 

It's nice to see their developing friendship/relationship from the formality of PIFAN to TN promo period where they are clearly more comfortable with each other but still shy and reserved at times, to openly teasing and laughing at and with each other during CLOY Swoon videos.

 

Do these Korean award shows have after parties?  And I don't mean the one at SYJ's house lol.

Yes definitely, hyun bin rushed home and excited to show to his wife yejin his trophy. He must have a good dinner that night with perfect celebration..

 

However, the haters might take this theories again that hyun bin rushed home for their bias. That even Hyun bin's fashion that night, they took it as someone styled him  since no ig post from his stylist...What the heck!

@Seriyathey may have just said hi. Not sure.. She was sitting between HB and Kim Woo Bin. HB and KWB just became friends recently around that time. They try not to interact with each other at awards as the cameras are always on them. Since rumors can start out from award shows. You watch other top actors at award shows or ceremonies ex. Gong Yoo and Ha Ji Won that know each other. They try not to make it obvious they know each other at these events. No idea if he is or was dating as he can date in private too without having a potential relationship be revealed. His first girlfriend when he started out was a non celebrity. 

 

There are normally parties/dinner after a movie premiere as SYJ had mentioned about the As One premiere/party before- Ha Ji Won and Doona Bae movie. 

 

Also looks like UA recently launched their winter outwear brand  as there are now UA posts on certain magazine accounts. I guess this is why Belma and potentially other stylists (who haven't posted yet) got gifts recently from UA. 

 

This shows how close they are. The 2 known premieres they were both at are definitely not comedies lol.

I haven't been on this page for a while. I just want to drop in and say I'm ecstatic for all the recent developments and celebrations! 

 

Huge congrats to Hyun Bin for his award! It's definitely been a long time coming. He worked so hard and he is so deserving of the presidential award. I'm sure all his fans, shippers and solo fans, are happy for him. Most of all, I'm sure wifey - Yejin - is the proudest right now, watching both her lover and best friend receive such prestigious award. 

 

Congrats to CLOY for winning Overseas Drama Special Prize award at the Tokyo Drama Awards. Let's keep that winning streak coming! CLOY and BinJin fandom have certainly been special to me. Seriously, if it weren't for CLOY, BinJin, and this fandom, I think I would've lost my mind this year over all the crap that's been happening in this world lol So thank you to each and every one here, whether active or just lurking (antis not included) for the camaraderie. 

 

I don't know if this has been discussed, but Yejin also received a similar award in Oct 2018, and HB received it in Oct 2020. Oh my, isn't this fate? I think we've pretty much established that YJ and HB have been together or at least seeing each other from Oct 2018 and onward. Isn't it sweet that they both won their respective award...with each other by their side? They may not have won it together, but if you think deeper, it's still pretty darn special. They didn't win it while dating anyone else. They won their awards while dating each other! Maybe married even, but who knows lol

 

YJ and HB have just been soooo connected for like almost 2 decades lol Their story is enough to melt anyone's hearts....unless of course your heart is full of hatred and jealousy. Jealousy and misery can certainly cloud one's judgment. 

 

I LOVE how HB's three-piece suit is the same exact Tom Ford one that Seri picked out for him in CLOY. I mean, if HB has another gf, why would he be okay with wearing a suit that your onscreen partner's character picked out for you and that onscreen partner happens to be your rumored girlfriend for like the 2 years? Doesn't make sense really. I'm sure he knows shippers will easily connect the dots. The only answer is...well, that rumored girlfriend picked it out for you! And you don't mind being connected with her anymore. I'm trying to go by logic here. Help me out here, is my logic off? 

 

Anyway, that's all I'm typing for now. We had the smiles and happiness in Baeksang, and now this Korean Cultural Award. Even though YJ didn't win anything, I still felt her presence during the award ceremony, because HB was all smiles when her face appeared on the screen. C'mon, even with a mask on, you can tell by his eyes he was smiling behind it. He had a proud and happy face. And of course, the suit. 

 

I hope they attend the APAN awards. I've been voting for YJ, and if i have more hearts, I'll vote or HB. Let's get them those popularity awards! Does anyone know if APAN gives out Best Actor/Actress awards etc. as well? If so, I sure hope they'll win those categories.
