GUYS!! Just wanted to say intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM!!! )

It doesn’t matter if that picture was posted for work or if it was personal. What matters is the fact that we can see how happy she is. She looks so contempt with life and her smile is so genuine she’s genuinely happy. You can see that she has this glow to her that we haven’t seen in a long time and it could only mean one thing... The woman is in love. HB also have this exact glow in his thank you video earlier this week. (The one where he said he had the happiest birthday and was gifted with a bunch of BinJin related gifts from their fans ) It doesn’t take a genius to put two together but haters are blind so just leave them in their world. They can rain on our parade every time Yejin makes a move but that doesn’t affect her because she’s too happy to care so don’t let it affect you too. Just think of them as Yejin’s second fans since they’re so updated on her life and is giving her views and attention.

How i miss those binjin grocery fake videos.. It is perfectly contradict the ill feeling of those antis against yejin and binjin fans..it helps actually to prevent us responding negative vibes from these ill fated humans. We are currently experiencing covid right now/pandemic.. How is anyone suppose to travel? What exactly is she suppose to update us on besides her CFs right now  What phone games she is playing, what book she is reading, what music she is listening to? Since she doesn't do this. She isn't going to update us on when she is going golfing or what she is eating lol.. There is no privacy in those activities.. She use to always give fans messages each month back in the day. It just stopped when she did her last fan meeting january 2013 and when she got instagram? Since she had stopped doing monthly messages.

YJ has been in the industry for 20 years and she knows how to handle it...we all are frustrated over the hate she’s receiving but stop treating her like she’s a weak woman.At the end of the day,this is the path she chose and so was HB.They were never forced to be in such situation.Both decide to be constantly linked to eachother from the start...even after their dating rumour and even after CLOY ended like half a year later.And even after everything and every ridiculous and fake rumours they’ve both been receiving.What does that says then?It means whatever they have is worth it and look at how happy both are ever since they’re in eachothers lifes....there’s always gonna be the pros and cons in every relationship especially if you’re a celebrity which I guess some people still don’t get.It’s not the fans choice on who HB or YJ dates or who they prefer to see them with or how they live their life.It’s none of our business.But what’s obvious right now is that BinJin is together....it’s not an assumption because they’re both the ones who keep fueling and hinting it until now.People close to them and also the K-Ent Insiders are also the ones who back it all up.If they didn’t do those things,some of us won’t even stayed in this ship for this long.It’s not a one sided thing here.There’s a reason why the fandom is getting bigger and it’s because the ship is so well fed and getting more and more real in people eyes.

Why are some of you so bothered by these antis? Don't you find the humor behind their actions? Yejin posts on IG looking splendid as always. (Although i must admit, the setting looked like an engagement/ gender reveal celebration at first glance) Jennyhouse posts a few moments later at a wedding. Binjins rejoice at the possibilities. The desperate camp completely lost it, harrassed jenny like she took their first born, and once again, yejin breaks the internet simply by posting and breathing. Should we be apologetic for being happy and excited as well...too much that it caused the antis to breakdown. Don't you all find it hilarious and ridiculous that yejin and the binjin shippers have this much POWER over the other camp's lives just by simply existing and being happy. 

We always have good news, that alone i am always thankful for. We have the numbers, heck even international celebrities and the bosses of my network are certified binjin fans who even lurk here. We have so much to be thankful for and they have nothing. Maybe it's just me, but i've always believed the best revenge is to be happy. And if the few crazy ones are bothered because binjin has all these good things periodically, lol, why, thank them for letting us live and RULE their lives rent free, without any effort, without even trying. It's their choice to be miserable that we exist, now please choose to be happy instead.

The thing I love the most about BinJin is that regardless of if they are together or not - I’m so happy that they found each other. They make each other happier, stronger, and they are supportive of each other. Even if they are just friends, I’m glad they have each other to count on. In life there are people you meet at the beginning of your career that helps define who you are as you start out, there are passerbys in the middle that gives you experience and ideas of the person you want to become and then there is the person you meet once you’ve already reach that height, once you’ve already become your own person - meeting this person will feel like you’re meeting a stranger you’ve known your whole life, they bring out a side of you that you didn’t even know existed and they make your heart flutter randomly even if it’s through a monitor. 
 

This is how I feel about BinJin and all the drama recently. I’m appreciative of everyone from their past because those are the people that has brought us to this moment. They are not who they were 10, 20 years ago. Let’s keep going forward, not backwards.

Also, I will like to add I thought it was amazing she actually recorded a message on her thoughts on The Wandering Chef. We could have not even known she actually did go if it wasn't for the fact she decided to share her thoughts/message. Since we don't know what other premieres she has attended besides Miss Baek *no picture (mention in TN commentary) and Rampant in 2018.. We know of potentially seeing Uhm Jee won's movie in February 2019 but that was it  She loves to watch movies.. So did she really not go to anymore? lol.. Lately, people go to these more easily now it seems since there is no red carpet/premiere happening. People go in undetected to these screenings unless they share on SNS.

I am glad that Yejin post on her instagram yesterday, as usual she looks radiant, beautiful and glowing! A picture of a woman who is content and happy with life. That smile and posture looks like a model!  She really glows. That's why those haters are so jealous of her because Yejin always liked to tease hahaha! I guess that post is telling us that everything is ok, just chill everybody and that is also the answer to her haters ...Hit her, beat her she will always slay and happy!

 Our OTP radiates happiness because they bring out the best in each other or inspire each other to be even better versions of themselves professionally and IRL. HB as mentioned in his previous interviews, has been inspired with how YJ conducts her acting. I think when you meet someone who captures your admiration and respect, you will be enthralled by him/her. And it starts from there. As we shippers believe, they are influencing each other on and off the camera, even some hobbies (i.e. golfing) and habits (eye smiles, hand gestures) rubbing off on each other. Plus they already have commonalities, same values and principles, experiences, life outlook, even vision and dreams for the future perhaps. All these gleaned from their recent interviews and fans observations. 

 

Jinnie has been looking radiant since Binnie came back. She was beautiful during her fan meet for Japanese fans. Even more blooming now, she looks stunning in her recent post. What I love about Jinnie when she smiles, the eyes smile too showing genuineness and warmth and emotions whether it's a CF or a personal post. Binnie also in his thank you video. Their happiness, reaches their eyes. When they smile, it is not only in the lips but the eyes smile as well.  

We know through articles that Binnie and Jinnie have / have been making donations for causes. When the idols are good, the fans can be inspired too. In Binnie's birthday message to fans, I love when he mentioned about fans stimulating and leading him to a good direction through the warmth and spirit of sharing that they've shown (though he has / they have been doing this). They can positively affect fans and fans can positively affect them too. 

 

Yeah, it's embarrassing for both sides to wage war and make a ruckus on the direct accounts of the actors and those related to them. I wonder in K-Ent or the entertainment industry anywhere, to what extent do their agencies use social listening, if they use social listening tools. And those that need translations.

Hi everyone, I’ve been doing some back reading & musing on those CLOY moments which referenced several real life BinJin events, like grocery boy, crossing border for a woman should go down into history.  This was also discussed previously on this thread, eg page 140.  

 

Of course I was thrilled and happy to find these real life references, and I love the CLOY parallel theme that’s present throughout the drama. 

 

Now several months later, I’m thinking about it more objectively, and wondering what reasons for including them in the drama?  

 

Is it common for kdramas to do this sort of thing?  Are there other kdramas that have done something like this or is it unique to CLOY?

 

Was it to feed the fans?  Have a tease at BinJin expense?  Or simply added for humour? 
 

I’m really curious and would like to hear your theories.  If someone interviews the writer or director in real life, I hope they ask them this question! 

I think the writer, director, actors could have made the scenes funny without referencing those real life events.  It wasn’t necessary to include them, yet the CLOY team and BinJin were on board with it.  

 

My theory is that it was a wink from BinJin to their fans that they are a couple but doing it in a “silent” low key way, similar to the SYJ IG liking spree.  Of course I could be completely wrong and there was no other reason except for drama entertainment purpose!

@LavenderVirgo that is a great question! You're right - it has popped up a bunch of times throughout this thread. It's one of those things we could endlessly debate with no 100% conclusive answer unless we ask writer Park ( I would totally LOVE if she gave us a post-drama interview). But there are definitely some strong hints/Meta moments. 

 

The one I'm 99.9% sure is a major wink to fans or anyone paying attention to the BinJin dating rumours -  Ralphs showing up as one of the most searched words on YSRs phone after the paparazzo shot of her and RJH is published. I mean, the implication is pretty clear. The only meaning Ralphs has is that it was the supermarket Binjin were assumed to be shopping at in LA. However a couple of questions about this: 1) Is this something the writer would have included in the original script?  Or is this a detail added by someone else during the filming process? And 2) Did HB and SYJ notice it? Were they asked if it was OK to include? Its such a small detail that was only noticed by screen capture, not sure most fans would have noticed just watching the scene. So many questions...

 

Then there is episode 1 with Mr Hong talking about how he responded to Disptach about the photos of YSR and the man she's dating. Even though they were clearly on a date, he was trying to explain it wasnt like that. Then the assistant scribbling in his notepad "Those two are definitely dating". Then YSR is telling Mr Hong her name will be in the papers the next day and he says " is it another dating scandal?" Its all very clever, but is it a wink to fans or just making fun of the situation? Who knows. Same with Mr Hong talking to reporters on the phone at the hospital in a later episode,  saying it wasn't a hug in the photo, YSR was just leaning on RJH to "endure" the pain lol  Other moments like "groceryboy" could also just be a clever joke. 

 

ETA: I'm not even sure writer Park would know anything about their personal relationship outside of the rumours everyone else knows. So whether these elements were coincidently already in her script before HB and SYJ were cast, or it was tweaked post-casting to include them is unclear. I lean towards the latter especially because there were a few other "winks" as well, like the line about  "negotiating" when YSR first lands in NK, the MOTA music when RJH plays the video game, umbrella scene and YSR dancing in her office (nod to SITR) etc..
