Rewatched CLOY multiple times that by now, can recite almost every word in the English subtitle. 

 

Love CLOY's many many memeorable lines that bring about the meanings of love, the ways to cope with hurt and the ways to live life to its fullest despite the odds. CLOY is our Binjin's rare opportunity to act together and leave a legacy of their love story in 'reel' form. Their children are so lucky to be able to witness their parent's love in action. 

 

Totally agree that that our collective loyalty is only towards Binjin - not one or another. They are two peas in a pod and this forum is for the pod. All info shared, from talented personal research or screened hearsay is for each of us to evaluate its relevance and likely truth. No invasion of privacy nor unnecessary advertisement is necessary. We are all mature to know enough that hurtful comments, bickering and gossips don't belong here. After all, we are in this forum to enjoy our comradeship through every bit of Binjin's good news. Let us continue to do this in Binjin style. 

 

I know I may be only dreaming but I wonder if Binnie may already have landed back home and will surprise us on 8/30. Unless this is a significant date for the fans, otherwise why 8/30 and not wait till sept when set up in Jordan isn't necessary for Binnie to watch or join? Does anyone have any thoughts here?

This month they filmed CLOY in Switzerland last year (I wrote in my notes they finished filming in Switzerland on Sept 5)

 

I also just realized that Switzerland is the perfect location in Europe to film as it is in the middle of all the other countries we know both of them have been to at other times 

 

They went to Zurich on August 22 and starting filming there on August 26 

 

From SYJ's instagram back then they filmed in Grindelwald August 27/28 - whenever the picture date on her instagram actually was posted on (sucks not to be in the same time zone lol)

I have a stupid question. So, that pic in SYJ’s IG of just the two of them that she posted at Christmas.... that wasn’t an official CLOY photo was it? It was a PERSONAL photo? Did it appear anywhere else official or just her IG? Obviously many have reposted it since then but I’m just curious if that shot was part of some promo or if it was just SYJ’s personal  stash on her phone? I’m sure you guys know where I’m going with this... please don’t laugh that I just figured this out now.

@BinJin2020 I believe it’s SYJ’s personal photo.  and the remarkable thing is that was taken August of 2019 and she only posted in December 24. It was also just lately that I learned that christmas is more of a couple thing in South Korea. So that made it more special

I went back to the CLOY thread. Unsure what date they actually flew back from Switzerland. They might have been filming in Paju on Sept 9? (days are always off for me when things get posted here - time zones lol)

From the weibo discussion that I read from, it should be from her personal stash. Reason is because of the lighting. The sun is at their back, facing the camera. Usually this lighting will cause the face to be darker? If it’s a promo pic, shouldn’t it be taking from the other way where the sun is shining on their face to make it brighter?  and that angle... double chin dangerous zone... and HB was holding on a walkie talkie

I believed Switzerland was chosen because it adhered to the policy of armed neutrality in global affairs -  meaning it is a neutral country. Seri being South Korean and RJH as a North Korean, they need to be in a neutral place to co- exist, plus the view is too perfect to be disappointed so, why not Switzerland?

To repay that kindness, we can at least offer them … our thoughtfulness.

I've been thinking if I should answer that question and I couldn't agree more with what you've said.

At first, I think some are too serious and strict but after many months I realize that it's our diversity that sometimes get into our skin and made us easily misunderstood others. In spite of the differences, this forum is still my get to go (and the other club for obvious reasons like ranting, hahaha), and I love hearing other shipper's opinions here and check mine as well.

A big thank you to lemon tree, cloyfan, CartPusher, Elle R etc….”  AND proceed to edit my IG post to reflect those pioneer sleuths. Had that been done, I believe we would have been spared the gunfight.  Instead, TotoroSY’s post was somehow taken as a personal insult and responded to in that way. From that point, the gunfight began. A flood of to and fro posts, for and against . 

 

Many of us recently acknowledged and thanked cybertron for being the pioneer of this BJ thread. It was well earned and a good thing to do. So what was wrong with TotoroSY doing the same thing for lemontree and the others?  Was the IG post edited to reflect them after it was pointed out? As for the potential effect on SYJ – think about it –  did SYJ choose that resort because it was conveniently located to visit her friend from there? If the vid goes viral, it’s possible that SYJ might lose that convenience and have to look for some other place instead when she next visits. Also, the pic of her friend in the resort lobby was featured in that vid – could it result in people or paparazzi (don’t forget Cross will be an American directed film) starting to dig up info about that LA friend? These are indeed potential privacy issues for SYJ and her friend.

However, we need to at least think about WHERE we are posting our stuff. I’m singling out Twitter and IG as sites to be careful of because these two are hives of indiscretion, where very little is sacred. It is a free-for-all, lawless country where clicks/responses are often more important than the people/subject matter themselves. Although Soompi is not failsafe too, at least here, there is the chance to put things into context, include qualifiers like “this is only my theory” and other precautionary words. But on Twitter/IG, it’s no holds barred and THAT IS WHY I am making an appeal to shippers who post on those platforms or who have friends who have big accts there to be thoughtful towards our BJ. How? We need to self-regulate and be guided by questions like “If I post this, will this inconvenience BJ/HB/SYJ? Will it embarrass them? Will it force them to go deeper underground? I believe if we check ourselves with these considerations, there is a reduced danger of misuse and abuse of info but other users of those platforms. Not a guarantee but a weighted risk. It will take a miracle for all socmed users to do this but as BJ shippers, we can give it a shot. It’s worth being thoughtful. It will go towards creating  a “safe environment” for BinJin to be more open about themselves and maybe even share a little more of themselves with us and not have to live fugitive lives because of what we do. We can do it. We can do it for our BinJin.

Anyway, this difficult conversation had to happen at some point but know that for many of us, TotoroSY's good intentions (then and now) were very clear and well taken and I personally, strongly agree on this one. It does not in anyway make her or Soompi claim superiority or be controlling or whatever (like we have the actual power??), only narrow-minds would think that. There is also no seniority or hierarchy here -- was there some sort of webinar i missed cuz i never knew of any of this?!? And if i have to rank myself, im as junior as the next one signing up here right now so i really dunno what senior or superior means. All i know is we are guided by this forum's rules (with or without moderators), our own sense of responsibility and maturity. I've been called out myself, had my off-topic posts deleted/edited by mods, received and gave negative reactions, agreed and disagreed with any random shipper. We all make mistakes, we all have our own share of wild delulus -- and so we are here to remind each other and reel us back to our senses. If some shippers don't see the benefit of having EQ and exercising discretion (bec really, it's hard!) for the sake of our OTP, it's their problem, so let's not lose sleep over it. Let's go back to regular programming...

I have been reading all your posts all this while but haven't commented for a while now. 
 

But can't tell you how many times I've rewatched CLOY and CLOY scenes in between. My folks and friends are sort of fed up of me and my obsession, so to say. But still, it brings a smile to their faces too when they see me going gaga over cute moments.

Perhaps, they too secretively find things cute.   
 

I also noticed in episode 13, 49:49 the beautiful way Bin protects Jin from behind, when Pyo Chi Su charges at them at the BBQ Olive Chicken restaurant. 
They all are charging at him too, but he makes sure tiny Jin does not fall back. He slips his hand behind and reinforces her balance as these guys come charging and jump and hug them in full force. 
 

How cute. How I wish, I could post a screen grab but Netflix wont allow you to take one. 
 

I hope you shippers are keeping well and fighting the current pandemic situation and not among ourselves.
