So what people were previously thinking were shades of red/orange as the color concept of the commercial (based on SYJ's IG post), was actually the color gold, for their Signature plan.

Not quite related to our shipping but just sharing some thoughts regarding the supposedly huge amount of money these top celebrities get for each drama episode or each product endorsement. I doubt the celebrity gets all of it. They still get a lot but i think a big part may go to their agency, manager, PA, glam team etc. I am not a finance person but i think the budgeting includes the entire package for the celebrity. Perhaps those of you who understand the industry more can clarify.

Can't speak for K-Ent, but for Hollywood, when it is reported  that an actor gets 10M for a movie, he really only sees 50% of that, BEFORE taxes. The other 50% of his fee usually goes like this:

 

25% to the actor's agent

15% to the actor's lawyer

10% to the actor's business manager/accountant

actually at the very end of the teaser too the letters are in gold but the background is green and red

Right.. I forgot about that  I was too focus on potential Seoul Drama nominations potentially coming out as it came out last year on this date.

So many of your comments put a smile on me and just warm my heart. At same time, can't help but wonder if there's a special award that recognizes a film for its worldwide impact and influence. CLOY is Korea's showcase of the qualities of its actors, director, screenplay and song writers' skills etc. This film is fast becoming a classic- one that resonates with audience of all ages, of all nationalities and is tirelessly viewed repeatedly by many. Our Binjin's excellence in acting and on screen chemistry can't be ignored as no other actors can stir the same emotions as they have. 

 

i wish, therefore, if there is indeed any negative feeling in Korea filming industry towards dating or married celebrities acting in same film, CLOY now demonstrates and hopefully sets the precedent to change such views. I can't think of any other Korean film that is so widely loved by audience, Oscar or no Oscar. 

 

Hats off off to our Binjin's- our one and only lovely and sweet couple who deserves praise and recognition beyond their acting abilities. Wedding bells soon, Please!!!  And, continue your good work and contributions for your industry in more ways than one. Patiently praying and waiting.......
