LOL. I NEED A CONFIRMATION THAT DAD'S SUIT WAS INDEED RALPH LAUREN SINCE MOM'S WAS ALREADY POSTED AND CONFIRMED ALL OVER SOCMED THAT SHE WILL BE WEARING RL EVEN THE NIGHT BEFORE BAEKSANG. AND THEN, BOOM!!! DAD'S STYLIST, BEL MAKANG, POSTED ON HER IG FEW MINUTES AGO... WHEN YOU CLICK THE POST, THE BRAND WILL SHOW AND IT IS INDEED RALPH LAUREN. NOW, MY SHIPPER'S HEART IS TACHYCARDIC (HEART BEATING FAST)!

Yes. 'Uplift his spirit' is the word. From the way they supported and complemented each other, we can tell that they are very mature in handling and protecting the r/s. What I can say is that Hb is very fortunate to have such understanding partner who understand his work, career and support him in everything. Very confident that they will walk to the end, to marriage. 

 

Additional titbit, on top of seo Dan's part when they are caught chatting happily,maybe some may have shared here. But to those who feel the couple is not on good terms and hb to be aloof, please see this. This was caught off screen when the camera accidentally capture ye jin when they are announcing the TV male Newcomer. I don't think ye jin can be so happy talking to him if they are not in good terms.

Anyways atleast they could show off their two awards individually whereas uri Binjin in their videos had to pose with only one trophy even though both of them got one each.  Look at the above videos with the actors emphasising the "me" word and compare it with Binjin's "we". The mentioned actors thanked their fans separately. Binjin are aware of how ardently people ship them and despite being scrutinized for every step they thanked us together. Wasn't them addressing us yesterday a kind of subtle affirmation of our wishes...It is like they want the best for their relationship but care for fans too.. who worked so hard just to see them together in one frame. It felt like they acknowledged our efforts and were closely monitoring the fans reactions throughout this drought. And I think they feel glad when people root for them to be together.

Hope some of you will understand the differences hehe. 

I feel like hyunbin and yejin doing the backstage interview together somewhat very special because their awards are not the best couple category. They won the popularity awards but do it together. Isn't this consider special and its kinda feel like a surprise gift to us CLOY fans.

Too much demanding will hurt you. I read some comments yesterday whether on TikTok live or on posting (IG, Twitter). Some are claim they shipped BinJin but getting upset when SYJ and HB didn't walk on red carpet together, just because HB look serious.

 

Just jump into conclusion that they are separated. Some are saying they wanna stop ship this couple.

Hi everyone! It's my 1st time participating in this forum, but just like a lot of people here, I've been visiting this forum everyday since February. Like some of you guys, I have a very hectic life prior to this pandemic and would never in my wildest dream thought of voting for celebrities via TikTok (which I constantly nagged my daughter as being a nonsense app...SORRY TIKTOK, i hope you can forgive me) and more so of joining a fan forum like this.

 

But I would like to congratulate everyone for the relentless effort and unconditional love that each and everyone shared for our dear Binjin couple. Great job guys!!! And we were rewarded and acknowledged by no less than both HB and SYJ! 

 

I'm also from the Philippines and honestly I never knew HB (surprisingly my own mother is a big fan of MLKSS! Can you believe that?), SYJ and have not watched any k-drama prior to CLOY! But my life, not only made a 360° turn, but flipped over after after watching this phenomenal drama. Now I can't let a day go by without visiting this forum and lurking thru various social media for any Binjin related posts

 

I would just like to share some thoughts after watching Baeksang Awards yesterday!! Again, for the love of these 2 I watched the red-carpet and the entire program without understanding anything except for the "kamsanhamida" (Did I spelled it right? Got to learn Hangul soon!!!)

1. I observed a lot of non-shippers going into this forum to create doubts, confusion and unrest among binjin believers. Once in a while, they would rock the boat and create an atmosphere of negativity. So if we all want this ship to sail, which I'm sure we are all pervently praying for, PLEASE JUST IGNORE THEM. Just don't give them the time and energy to suck-up your energy. Just pretend that they don't exist. They should'nt exist in this shipping forum in the first place, anyway!

 

2. CLOY did not win the major awards that we are hoping for but I don't want to dwell on this anymore. I would like to congratulate all those who won and I honestly believed that being nominated is already a big honor. Althouh I also felt bad that HB did not get the Best Actor award because he was really superb in CLOY. As for SYJ, she really has a set of very strong contenders so...Anyway, plenty of  chances to bag more awards in the future, I'm sure!

 

3. I have to burst some bubbles. But the black van immediately following HB's Lincoln Navigator is not the same as the van where SYJ alighted during the red carpet. I paused the video to check on 1 thing that will be the ultimate proof if it was the same vehicle....the tire rim of SYJ's van. And unfortunately, they are not the same. I don't know how to insert photos yet, but you can check also. You may also want to slowmod the video of HB's car exiting the premises where BAA was held.....but wait, do not panic!!!

1. Assuming HB has the 2019 or 2020 Lincoln Navigator, there is still an extra row of seat behind the seat where he was seated. He waved and slightly opened the window but since the SUV was heavily tinted we can not see who "might" be seated at the back of his SUV . With the absence of fancam and paparazzi's on the premises, we will not really know whether they left the place riding the same vehicle. Unless, there will be another video from fans waiting outside that SYJ was also seen waiving from her own van (I think I also saw her doing that in a video previousl. So knowing that she love her fans, she might also be tempted to do that knowing that a lot of fans are waiting outside.)

2. Although I was also initially shocked at the absence of "closeness", I can consider this as a good thing. It means they are really protecting what they treasure most. Someone posted the interview of Rain, and what he said just totally makes sense. They have become more guarded and that goes to say that whatever they have is really, really special for both of them.

1. We all worked so hard to give them the Tiktok Popularity Award and they both acknowledged it in a manner that screams that they are not oblivious to our efforts. HB was even almost teary-eyed and SYJ made an effort to thank everyone in English! Had we not made that effort, we will not see them together up on stage. Ofcourse, I want them to win in their respective nominations but my only consolation is, if they did not win the Tiktok award, they will get on stage individually and we won't get all the candies we saw, no matter how subtle they are. 

 

2. I think they are both wearing RL but it looks like our Jinnie compromised with an adjusted straps for the gown. If you noticed her back is not as bare/low as compared to how the model wore that same dress. I think our conservative Capt Ri played a very important part on that one

 

3. SYJ's side glance and HB's smirk says  a lot. When I saw that I imagined seeing the bubble thought in HB's head saying "You repeatedly told me to be careful because my expressions are so transparent but look at you! You really can't resist looking at me too!" Hahaha. My delulu mind was even imagining that they have some kind of a bet of who will be caught looking more at each other, knowing that they have a tendency to have their own secret jokes! 

 

Sorry for the long post! Lastly, keep those fake subs coming!! And knowing that our couple knew about this forum, I hope they enjoy them too,while spending time together in their sofa with their respective coffee and beer!

Somethings i.d like to share

**I dnt think HB was disappointed not bagging the Best Actor. Referencing from his reaction: teary eyed while accepting the tiktok award and seeming coldness, it was the Popularity Award which was announced first then the announcement for the Best Actor. Still we do not know... But given the political situation bet SK & NK, letting CLOY sweep all the major awards (if not all), would implicate something politically--while it is true that SK wishes that the 2 Koreas would be one, they could not sacrifice the peace both countries have at the moment by supporting a drama that tells much about unification wc the other Korea does not like. And i think, HB being an ex marines and actor himself knows that. I feel he did not expected much too. It s given that he looked tensed as he was playing with his hands...that i think is normal. Sure he knows 3/4 of the globe loves CLOY, but he too knows the game of K ENT. And as he said, awards are just bonuses. What he is really after in all his projects is when the viewers would get across the roles he portrays. He.s got a stable mindset.

**Both of them being indifferent? NO. Cameras were too closely focusing on them and obviously both are trying hard not to put on a show for themselves. Reality though is: BAEKSANG gained millions of viewers because they came for BINJIN. And both of them just dont want to fully own the show because they both wanted to celebrate their fellow actors success. Another thing, SYJ could have gone ahead as soon as she heard her name, but the 'indifferent' thing.s that, she had to 'validate' HBs route preferrence towards the stage. And their RL preference too. Blue and gold are a perfect match, artistically speaking. Posing and backstage interview for tiktok? Both have their own trophies, but they decided to have one and address their gratefulness to the fans as one. Because i feel, THEY ARE INDEED ONE. 

For me, the way they treated each other the whole time was just fine. We.r mere spectators wanting our expectations to be met. But such is their pace.  and I fully respect 

and admire them for keeping things low.

I thought HB looked tense yesterday and people (elsewhere, not on this shipping post) have posted their thoughts about this, aloofness, disappointment, coldness etc.

 

I  am happily married with four children and spend far too much time lurking on this site. I just include that information because I had a different interpretation re HB’s tension. I think he was tense because of his being in a relationship with another, caring about they received the recognition they deserved, their disappointments whether they win. HB had three things to think about, his drama, SYJ and himself. 

 

I know as a parent/wife it is easy to bear and mask own disappointments but unbearable to watch someone you love go through it- if I watch my son run a race at school I can’t look or feel sick until it is over where I cheer or commiserate. 

 

Was it difficult to not see CLOY/SYJ get their recognition? For shippers yes we felt disappointed, but how much harder for someone who maybe or actually is in a relationship with them?

 

I noticed HB’s balled fist walking to the stage, his taking control of the route to walk and the smile once they were on the stage walking to get their award, hand looser. Imagine a conversation beforehand “I am dreading walking in these five inch heels and this dress”... HB reminds me of how my husband can act, what can come across as aloof and controlling at times, is his trying really hard to manage my stress and make sure things go well. Yesterday SYJ could look happy. That is being in a relationship.
