Big congratulations to SYJ for the Holywood offer. She deserves world recognition for her talent.

 

SYJ is also considering a Korean movie which is planned for filming in the 2nd half of 2020 - She is Cow YeJin.

 

SYJ is trending on Naver there are many Korean media covering her Hollywood offer.

 

I think BinJin might have planned like this.

 

- Get married this year.

- Enjoy their honeymoon period after marriage before planning for babies.

 

It's better to have some newly wedded time after marriage instead of having babies immediately. Just my opinions. 

 

I respect and support whatever they choose to do. I will not demand and have no rights to demand what they should do. It's their private life.

We’ve seen and heard Ye Jin speak English in her films and projects. As per this article from Korea Herald, she will be playing the role of a “Non Korean” and she’s expected to speak English throughout the film! 

safe to say that if she finally confirms to do this, which we believe is “almost” a done deal already, Ye Jin will be practicing more on her english. But she’s really good on this already. Maybe just a little polishing  and she can practice with her Hyun Bin too.
 

Actually, I just wanted to say that i think HB will be more than willing to practice and help her with this.  This will be one of their new bonding sessions

I am with you all the way! I got married at 39 too because of my career so i understand 

 

I believe she knows the consequences. 

 

Our OTP , if we believe they are together, they. have discussed this. I do believe that they will get married before 40 as they have both expressed in interviews. They both want to have a family and SYJ said that if she had one, she will be too involved. She is also aware of the fact that it can affect her career. Let us trust that they know the direction they have to take!  For me, since both of them were laughing when reporters asked why they are still single, and they both answered they hope to be married before 40, I BELIEVE THEM. 

 

When the news 2 to 3 months ago that SYJ was carefully choosing her next project after the success of CLOY and that there were international offers, i also believed it. How can she ran out of projects when she was labelled as "COW Ye Jin" and that some actors even envy her because she can select what role to portray.  

 

Let us be happy for SYJ, she deserves it!  HB will always support her partner as  he knows the passion of SYJ about acting  and because he shares it too.

 

I go with the others....i enjoy the discussions here be it trivial like the luggages; and the interesting timeperiods; travels; ...relating past interviews to the present.... these are what makes this forum interesting We have shippers who come out from lurking because of the diversity of topics ! It is just fun during the drought periods! 

 

TIMELINES: I am also interested here as  with @Intuition1 because  if we know and we can re-create what happened, the more we can appreciate the love story of our One True Pair!

 

We just have to be careful though because I BELIEVE A LOT of people are interested to read what we post here!

Both Lee Min Jung and Lee Jung Hyun (members of SYJ's famous Cinderella group) have some projects a few months after their wedding days.For Lee Min Jung,she got married to LBH in 2013 but only gave birth to their first child in 2015.

i dont understand why people expect women to give up their career pursuits after marriage .HB and SYJ are workaholics and dedicated to their craft& never stop challenging theirselves in diverse roles and genres.I believe in the future they will get more and more offers & further strengthen their position in the acting industry.

Hi, since jennyhousewedding is being flooded by comments from binjin fans, I emailed jennyhouse asking for the nature of their partnership with SYJ and what can we expect from their team up. Per Jennyhouse, SYJ will only promote rebak. This doesnt include jennyhousewedding. Many people, especially those on twitter, believe that syj is going to endorse jennyhousewedding. Well, here’s a clear and definitive answer that she wont be endorsing it anytime soon (at least not for now?  )

I think it would be nice for all of us to take deep breaths, take one step away and think of this news logically. 

 

People saying women can do it all, you're all right. I absolutely believe that women can perfectly balance work, marriage and children if they plan it all well and we all know that uri Jinnie is a great planner, so I am pretty sure if she chooses to do a Hollywood movie AND get married and have a child, she can perfectly do it all and very well too. Same goes for Binnie too, if he chooses to start a family and commit to a Hollywood project or if his wife does it, I am sure he can balance it all well too

 

People who are concerned about her age and them starting a family, I think you're all right too. It is a valid concern and as a person who is 38 years old myself I can perfectly understand how we all think that Jinnie's biological clock is ticking. I also think when people talk about this they don't mean that Jinnie should give up her career and have kids and become a stay at home mom (edited to add - I am a stay at home mom myself and I don't think there's anything to looked down upon if you're one). They just speak out of genuine concern and I don't think it is an invalid concern. 

 

We are so quick to jump on people and call out their names immediately when they even remotely say something that can be misconstrued. All of us are here because of our love for our OTP and most of them here (at least people who are actively commenting, can't speak for lurkers) have their happiness in mind 100%. So I think it would be nice to stop arguing about women balancing marriage and career. It is hard but it has been done. It would be hard for YJ and having concerns about it is valid, but she can and if she chooses, she will do it too. So let's all please stop arguing with each other about it and celebrate the fact that our girl is going to Holly freaking wood

I was so happy waking up to this news! So proud of SYJ! Not surprised either because she always did the opposite of what was expected of her many times in her career so i knew she was going to go to the next best thing and now it is Hollywood. Dont know much about this director, i'll have to go check his previous movies.

 

PS: I'm seeing some alarming sexist tones in some of these posts concerning this news. Can we not? we are in 2020 guys, not 1950. SMH.

While I am truly happy Ye Jin has the opportunity to go to Hollywood but is it safe to go to USA to film with the current Covid 19 situation? It is quite bad in USA right? Unless all the filming will be done in South Korean....

From my point of view the info on covid19 from the US is not trustworthy..but most likely filming will not be permitted based on government mandates. The virus is being used politically. Once our presidential election is past things should open up. That is early november.

Filming would start in March 2021 so many things will change since then and i'm sure if it's not safe to film they will know.

As far as I have heard filming will take place in SK. Also even if they have to shoot in  US..I think the situation due to COVID will improve by next year...It is still almost 8 months until March.
